    many people say that this snippet is too soft.. but if you look at ana's notes, you can clearly see that the song has two parts: the first part is very heavy with a "punkish/trashy guitar riff" and the second part is a ballad (i think the snippet is from this part)!!!

    about the rest of the album being more soft, i have to disagree! when you read through all of the reviews, you have to realize that Wretches and Kings is not the only heavy song on the album: When They Come for Me (due to Ana's review with brad's heaviest guitar ever), Waiting for the End, Blackout and maybe even Robot Boy and/or Burning in the Skies do all have heavy parts or heavy influences =)

    after the first listen i didn't like it, but know after i heard it a few times, i really love it! it's so creative and complex but at the same time it has a very atmospheric vibe which i can't describe really xD hope the catalyst and the new album has the same kind of atmospheric vibe to it =)

    the song is more than 5 minutes long and we know a snippet of 10 seconds, which is most likely the outro because of the "Outro drums" stem in it, so there is a very big possibility, that there will be guitar in the song, maybe or hopefully a heavy guitar riff in the back =)

    do you think that these songs are in the same order like they will be on the final album? i hope not, because i don't want the album to be 6 experimental electro songs and then 6 rock songs, i want them to mix them a bit up in the final song order^^

    i just hope that the final song will have much guitar in it, hopefully they just left the guitar part out for the contest, i mean they left out the bass too, so i'm optimistic^^ or maybe these snippets are part of the song where no guitar/bass plays, is also a possibility =)

    that would be a nice set, but i do hope that they will extend it a bit =) i pray to god that they don't cut out the extended outro of faint for the next tour, i always thought that this outro was the highlight of their live shows^^ i would be preety disappointed if they cut out this outro =/
