Is it just me or is the title of this thread called "Custom Setlist Election"? Because with comments like these, you'd think it would be called "Absolutely 100% Realistic 2011 Setlist Election". It says custom for a reason. That's the only reason I chose not to put a setlist in here, even if it was going to be quite realistic. It just wasn't "by the books". You guys are all far too hung up on the bland and boring "Heavy intro, soft middle, crowd-favourites outro" set-lists that Linkin Park has done for years now.

Agreed 100%. Where's A Place for My Head? Papercut? Regardless I will be buying and most likely enjoying the pack (albeit on keys rather than guitar...) IMO the track pack should look more like this: Papercut In the End Faint Figure.09 No More Sorrow In Pieces

Yeah but the guitar in them is so easy it's going to be ridiculous... C'mon at least give us No More Sorrow or Figure.09, something with even a little bit more difficulty. Oh well, the keyboard will be EXCELLENT for playing these songs! Sorta wish they picked The Catalyst over Waiting for the End.

Since I bought the special edition copy on release day, I made sure to use that cover s my album art on my iTunes. Now every time I look at the original black on white version I think it's a fake lol. Special Edition is better IMO

P5hng Me A*wy was my favourite song for a VERY LONG time. I'd love to see it played live once again.

I had an epic idea in the "Custom Setlists" thread that involved LP playing ATS in full, and then having an encore dedicated to a single album. One night it would be Hybrid Theory, the next it would be Meteora, and finally the 3rd night would be Minutes to Midnight. Although all the fans would probably pissed to not be able to hear their favourite singles from other albums on specific nights, LP would make up for it by playing rare songs such as With You/High Voltage on Hybrid Theory night, Figure.09/From the Inside Medley for Meteora, and No Roads Left/Across the Line for Minutes to Midnight. I suggest to check it out for anyone who's interested. And yes, of course I know it's a ridiculously impossible idea. So don't tell me that.

My thoughts: Points of Authority, maaaaybe Somewhere I Belong LPL's thoughts : They better play Figure.09 and/or With You or we will bitch and complain nonstop! Oh, and Robot Boy will definitely premiere, and probably fall off the face of the earth a few shows afterwards.

But it's the single most epic instrumental part of the show IMO. Maybe 2nd only to the Faint outro, but Chester going nuts seems to help that part a lot. Oh and I've got another interesting new kind of setlist to premiere! We all know that the band really wants to play A Thousand Suns in its entirety live, but the problem is the hardcore fans still want the old songs. I've come up with a really distinct idea that would be pretty f'ing awesome for LP to do. In Pieces!!!! OMG I would die a happy man if they played In Pieces acoustically!

First of all, we don't need everyone making their own custom setlists in here. 2nd, I REALLY hope you're just joking about Not Alone ending a concert. Holy shit that would be a snooze-fest. On topic: TLTGYA acoustic??? Awesome! Makes me want that acoustic set I made up for the band to be played all the more now! And yeah they should really replace Shadow of the Day with Iridescent. It's superior live in almost every way.

To be perfectly honest, I can easily say that Linkin Park would not be my favourite band without Chester fucking Bennington. I'm not a huge fan of rap, although I must say Mike has loads of talent, and Mike's vocals just aren't up to snuff IMO. That and he can't scream like a god.
