But I can't decide which songs to remove! ;_; Although a few songs are interludes.
  2. Interesting take on the song. I enjoyed it. Acoustic + LP always = awesome.
  3. To be honest, I prefer they play the songs without Jay-Z. I'm not a fan of Collision Course at all. But then, I don't live in Australia, so I don't mind.
  4. I agree with everything you described. Honestly, when the track titles were released online waaaay back (wow, it's been so long now) and I saw Fallout and The Messenger, I had a suspicious feeling that Fallout would be about the bomb dropping, and The Messenger would be about a survivor delivering a hopeful message. But you expanded on so much more. Impressive stuff!
  5. HOW in the world can you possibly end the set with What I've Done??? You can't honestly believe that LP is gonna follow through with such a bland final song for the large stadium settings do you? ...The sad part is I could see LP doing just that >__>
  6. Well I think the song is incredible, I don't think it's the best song on the album, nor one of LP's absolute greatest. Then again I'm having a very hard time deciding whether ATS truly is better than the rest of their discography or not. I need to listen to each album one after another someday soon, and figure it out that way.
  7. LMAO closing with What I've Done is pathetic. I enjoy the song, but to finish? Terrible, terrible choice. Unless they have a secret "3rd encore"?
  8. I forgot about No Roads Left. That could be an absolutely amazing finisher! But I'm gonna stick with my guns and say Blackout or APFMH
  9. Blackout or APFMH closes the set 99% confirmed!!!
  10. I AGREE! But for now, I'm taking the wild card with Blackout. Or the safe bet is The Catalyst...
  11. Amazing setlist! Could use some From the Inside though... (with Figure.09 medley!!!) P5hng would be an incredible surprise though... And personally, I think Blackout could be EPIC as a final song, but only with an extended heavy ass outro! OSC can come before it. EDIT: WOW One Step Closer is the main closer? Then I'm calling either Blackout like I said, A Place for My Head (ZOMG!) or The Catalyst (awesome song... but meh for a final song). Or they could blow our minds with QWERTY in the same vein as Summer Sonic 06 version.
  12. YYYEEESSS! I was soooo hoping they would bring back No More Sorrow!!!! I can sleep epacefully tonight
  13. I definitely agree with everything you said. If Linkin Park just went with the old-fashioned acoustic song, it wouldn't have struck as big of an impact with me. The rough vocals set it apart from most other acoustics, and the lyrics are awesome. I've wanted an acoustic track from Linkin Park from a very long time coming now, and I'm so glad that it's finally arrived!

    MTV VMA's

To be honest, I really don't see the problems people are having with Chester's performance. In my opinion, he was a lot more solid on this song then he ever has been on any MtM song live, with exceptions possibly being No More Sorrow and Given Up. And he was MILES better than any of his attempts at New Divide last year... *shudders* I also believe his rasp definitely gave the song that much needed edge so that it could stand on its own live.
  15. Robot Boy IMO is nothing special. And I'm pretty sure it will be a complete bore live on stage.
  16. So far, I really can't say. A few more listens to the album and I should be able to narrow it down to one or two. So far Burning in the Skies (with The Requiem and The Radiance as an intro), Blackout, Iridescent, and The Messenger are easily my favourites. Although Waiting for the End, When They Come for Me, and Wretches and Kings are CLOSE behind. Not to mention The Catalyst. If it wasn't the 1st single, and if I hadn't overplayed it to death, I'm sure it would be one of the top.
  17. H! Vltg3! What's the point this time? We all know P5hng Me A*wy is easily the best track on the album.
  18. Well then all I can say is wait for LPUX. I'm sure there will be plenty of screaming there. I miss Chester's screams too, but I've realized that he's changed. Although personally, I wouldn't be surprised at all if their next album was heavy as shit in almost every way. Rocking guitars, roaring screams and pounding drums; the works, yet holding onto the unique sounds and structures from ATS. But nothing like HT/Meteora... it that makes sense at all. But not exactly metal either. They've got the music they want to play now out of their system, time to move onto something new again. Then again, if it takes them 3 more years to make another record, then I may have to scratch that idea.
  19. You want tracks like Given Up? Then go listen to One Step Closer, A Place for My Head, Faint, Don't Stay, Figure.09, From the Inside, No More Sorrow, QWERTY. Hell, just go listen to Given Up. Get over the idea that "ZOMG HEAVY IS TEH BEZZZT!" because if you've listened to anything Linkin Park over the last few years, you would realize that some of their best tracks are in fact moderately soft at the loudest. This goes to everyone with this mindset. Open your options and opinions! Soft is not bad! The only reason you don't like Blackout is because of the second half, am I right? Bingo.
  20. I'm currently in the process of picking up all the pieces of my body, as I was completely blown away. And this is coming from a person that began to doubt if Linkin Park could truly pull through with this record, especially these last few days of negative media surrounding the new sound. As far as I'm concerned, A Thousand Suns is a complete and utter masterpiece. Bravo Chester, Mike, Joe, Rob, Brad, and Phoenix. Bravo Linkin Park.
  21. Listening to the Requiem already! Holy fuck this is EPIC! Impressions to follow later today!
