  1. Maybe not, but it's still illegal. That's because it comes from an encrypted source. Manufacturers include an "encryption-based DVD access control and copy prevention system that provides for protection of copyright content" on "5-inch-wide optical discs that contain recorded material in digital form". (Source, See: Paramount Pictures v. Load 'N Go Video)
  2. "cracking the encryption and extract those files" = reproduction
  3. I'm so sorry for not being as absolutely wonderful as you. "Federal law provides severe civil and criminal penalties for the unauthorized reproduction, distribution, rental or digital transmission of copyrighted sound recordings. (Title 17, United States Code, Sections 501 and 506). The FBI investigates allegations of criminal copyright infringement and violators will be prosecuted." (RIAA) Unless you're telling me Bleed It Out isn't a copyrighted sound recording, that's illegal.
  4. *effort First of all, more than effort and research are required. A game system, copy of the game, and the DLC are all needed to be able to do this. And yes, a certain amount of skill or at least know-how would be needed. Second, who's crying? I never even mentioned the multitracks. It's the issue of people expecting collateral for things that don't belong to them. When it's a show they taped, that's reasonable, but not really when it's an illegal ripped file. And if it's really so easy to do, why would anyone want to give you stuff for it? And finally, I already have the multitracks, so go suck a dick.
  5. Awesome idea, but it'll be really hard to organize.
  6. Except Mike said in a UStream chat that they didn't finish it.
  7. Mike has said multiple times now that the song was never finished.
  8. It's funny how he doesn't really care about the recording when hundreds of fans online would kill for it. Thanks for all the info guys!
  9. This. Exactly, this. It makes sense to have it somewhere other than America though.
  10. The band that would later become known as Linkin Park was formed in 1996. The end.
  11. I'll be keeping the flac version. I just need the mp3s so I can listen on my ipod. But thanks
  12. Downloading from Megaupload and then I'll be converting to MP3s. Gonna be a long afternoon. Thanks for the recording!
  13. Very tough decision, but I'm gonna go with P5hng Me A*Wy
  14. It sounds flatter in general. And there are clearly less effects on Chester. Also, the synth solo is quieter. The piano part sounds different too. Drums in the "lift me up" part sound softer. Chester's background "ohhs" towards the end are different too. Plus a little echo thing on the last "can't be outrun". Definitely a different version, I think we can assume it's the pre-final mix discussed in MOATS.
  15. Of course, no mention of The Radiance 2.0 for us...
  16. I was thinking the NY show might get a DVD release. After all, we can assume the whole show was proshot.
  17. Yup. They're kind of like The Catalyst single with colors. IMO the album cover in the deluxe set looks better.
  18. Nonono, the band was renamed Linkin Park in 2000. The band formed in 1996.
