Zomg Chester is teh unhappy! He gonna leave LP! noOOoOoOooo.... Just random... Chester isn't going to leave. It was once said before. With the advancements in music making it isn't hard for an artist to do two things. Yes it can get in the way at times but Chester is still 100% LP. Doesn't mean he won't work on DBS stuff when they guys are on the road this year.

My guess is that the song isn't part of the game download. Instead after you beat the game you get a code or something to download the song. Its just a guess and honestly would make a bit more sense.

Same here. When Brad gets up to the guitar solo it leaves you almost breathless. Its very simple but full of meaning.

Yea its pretty intresting. I got mine at Best Buy when Minutes to Midnight came out. Hope LP plans on doing another DVD for the upcoming album.

It could be the name but I won't really believe it until Mike confirms it. My gut says it was miss-translated and it most likely means to say "From Minutes to Midnight" saying its a b-side maybe? I say we'll find out next week or so.

I think I will keep my release date guesses to myself from now on. Guess my excitment got the better of me.

Sounds about right. I am taking a wild guess and thinking they have picked there last batch of songs. I am only taking this guess as to what Mike said last month about less tracks. Then again that could change as well. I kind of wish Mike would or will tell us how many songs they have added to the new batch, but then that too would lead to a whole lot craziness. Track number can change at the last minute very easy. Heck from the first batch of 5 they could easily cut 1 or 2 in the end.

Never know what will happen. I say if all goes well though then I can very well see this happen. Anyone who thinks LP has only just finished 5 songs and don't have anymore are insane. Quote from Mikes blog on November 15, 2009 "At last count, there were upward of 60 tracks on the "band" hard drive. Obviously, they're in all states of completion (except "finished"). Well, 60 is a big number, and focusing down on all of those to try to get them finished sounded terrifying not to mention silly; a good chunk of those are probably not really our best stuff anyway. The other 15-20 songs Mike talked about in this update are in a state of "Completion". So anything is possible between now and June.

January - LP game with new song, older DSPs, and new upcoming exclusive! So far this year is starting out good. Starting now until the end of the June (If the new LP album comes out before then) we should have a new LP album somewhere in the range of 177 days. Hoping for less but who knows. XD

This. I hope Mike plans on updating after the band meeting Monday. I only say this cause the last time he said he would tell us what happen at a band meeting we didn't really find out anything until like a month later? But when your working hard I guess its hard to keep up. I guess they got alot going on now with the iphone/ipod touch game maybe coming out this month with the new song.

I guess in most cases, yes, people want an album like HT. It was an awesome album for its time and is still to this day one of my top ten. But as Mike said on billboard.com they mentely want to going back to HT but still make something new and fresh. I think this statement alone is something that should make LP fans excited and maybe a little worried cause we still don't know just how this sound will sound. I don't want another album that sounds like HT. I want this album to have its own sound, but still have "traces" of what makes LP awesome.

I'm not 100% sure I think both the MTM DVD and the Fuse version are the same, but I think the Fuse version might be shorter? Just tiny things cut. Like I said not 100% sure. The DVD has the making of Minutes to Midnight, Audio of all 12 tracks, "What I've Done" video, and the making of the"What I've Done" video. If you would like the DVD/CD set of MTM, check on amazon.com. I think so far the cheapest I've seen is like $18 new.

Off the top of my head, the title for Meteora was released sometime in January 2003, with the album being released in March 2003. As for Minutes to Midnight, it was late March or early April they released the title of the Album. So as just a guess if the album is going for a June release I guess we could expect a single in April or May along with the name of the album I would say.

Always love to hear from Mike. Looks like those 5 took around a month or so to do. Here is to hoping the next batch goes smoothly for the band.
