  1. Looking on Amazon UK listing of deluxe package... Disc 14 lists the following: 24. Beat 23 (Joe Hahn) 31. Beat 10 (Mike Shinoda) 39. Beat 4 (Mike Shinoda) also 45. One Step Closer (Live from London, 9/16/2001)) doesn’t appear anywhere else. any ideas? not sure which disc this is, as there’s a lot of mixed up tracks from all the other discs.
  2. Would be a nice move to allow for single ‘cd’ purchases for download rather than £50 for all... realistically the only track list there that most likely require is the Forgotten Demos, I imagine most ‘hardcore’ fans already have mp3s of the rest. I’d more than happily pay £10 for just that.
  3. I don’t mind a studio version not being released. LFAA will remain a moment in time that way, and I believe that a studio release could quite easily disappoint. Look at Let Down for example.
  4. Thanks very much, sounds good. I've used this to mix the demo verse onto the end of the album track. Now my OML playlist features an mega 4:33 version of Good Goodbye. Awesome.
  5. I could see them continuing as a 5 piece. If the band were to write an album after a hiatus first, upon touring they'd have new material to play and as already pointed out by Hahninator, there's plenty of songs Mike could take lead with - LOATR, Iridescent, SOTD, maybe Final Masquerade. I realise I'm stating ballads but that's likely where Mike's range sits. The sets wouldn't need to be so long either - play shorter shows in smaller venues. I saw Evanescence in June, in London - they played 18/19 songs, and that didn't feel overly short for arguably such a big band. Whatever they choose to do, the fan base will rally behind them, just look at the outpouring of support after Chester's passing.
  6. Quick thing for the show page - Habit: no acapella outro, the synth played but Chester didn't sing. In The End: crowd rapped the first verse, after chorus Mike rapped first verse again I think Chester flubbed the lyrics at the end of Nobody Can Save Me, since he stuttered a bit - that may need someone to confirm with me though.
  7. Tickets are the same as the O2 Arena - £62.50 + £8.85 booking fee, so pretty pricey for a club show. I'll probably still go though.
  8. In case anyone going was concerned - the proposed Tube strike for 8th September has been postponed.
  9. I agree with you, send the tan one back. Should look pretty sweet when they're all framed up! Be sure to post a pic
  10. The cynical side of me wonders whether the more detailed covers, such as eyes, faces etc will have been kept back for charity auctions and such like. Time will tell!
  11. Mine arrived earlier, I've no way of scanning though and I don't own a DSLR. I'll use my iPhone 6 and crop it down, should do the job once I'm through with the image. Edit. See attached.
  12. It's good to remember something enjoyable on the way to work. Puts me in a better mood for when I get there! Quality doesn't really matter, I ripped the London DBS show from people's YouTube recordings hah.
  13. Fantastic! I'll get right on downloading this when I can get on my desktop. Cheers Michelangelo! *Edit* Damn this is sweet! Really helps being at the back of an arena for clarity. It's not perfect (little bit of chatting over a song or two) but it's made my week, and it's only Sunday night =) If anyone wants an MP3 version, I've converted it and can send a link. I know, FLAC is better, but I can't play that in the car! =P
  14. Ah right I see. I thought 'help us' was meant in the sense of trying to contact the tapers themselves.
  15. I get the idea about requesting help to obtain these recordings from the tapers, but how would someone like me go about that sort of thing? Seeing that Joe Bloggs has claimed that they taped a show and it cited as an audio source is all well and good, but where would I, or anybody else for that matter, even begin to try and obtain that recording? Not trying to rant, it's just something that has come to mind recently.
  16. Despite the little mixing and lyrical niggles I enjoyed it, great to have this show. I wish I'd have got myself tickets now! As it was a bonus for pre-ordering - and I like CDs so wanted it burned - I've put together a CD wallet case. Attached are the result and a PDF for anyone to use if you want this too! LP_LiveAtDownload_Disc.pdf
  17. I'd say it's not going to be the Download HT set, since that's a THP preorder bonus. Though saying that, we all know what happened with the Living Things preorder remix tracks and Recharged. I'd bet on Mall OST.
  18. Glad I'm not the only one then. I'll leave it a bit, it's not like they'll sell out on a pre-sale. @Kirstie, Thanks for the tip, but I don't have an LPU subscription so no code there for me.
  19. Hmm, UK Mailing List Pre-sale code doesn't seem to be working for me - anyone else having this trouble? (via Ticketmaster UK)
  20. Yeah figured I'd play it safe. Ah right, it's strange that it's not been mentioned that the digital download is there, officially that is. Maybe I missed something
  21. Just had this from lpu: "Thank you for joining LPU XIII and purchasing the Digital Download of the LPU XIII CD. The LPU XIII CD is a collection of 12 tracks including 10 LINKIN PARK demos and 2 LPU Sessions songs recorded by LPU members at Red Bull Studio in Los Angeles. We wanted to make sure you also had a digital version of the CD booklet. You may download it here:" I'm not sure I can post the link? But anyway, point is I bought the cd which allegedly came with digital download - still no download link though! Anyone else had this?
  22. Holy Shinoda.... roll on Monday!!!
  23. Well, half of it is listenable. No idea what happened in the middle, weak. If there hadn't have been anything from Mike on there then I don't think this release would have floated at all. What amazes me is that this has been released, with 2 mixes for 4 songs, when there's stuff out there by fans which blows some of it out of the water. IMO they'd have done well to put a remix for each track on there a la Reanimation, hell, look at Reliving Things that LPA put out for example. Perhaps some of the tracks aren't to the same calibre or polish of those on Recharged but it's a better album for it. And I'd listen to that one from start to finish any day over Recharged. Will I buy Recharged, most probably. Will I wait for a sale price? Yes.
