I like the video and its story, well done Joe Hahn. Next up, looking forward to hearing the album in full.

Across the three singles, there’s a track that fits well for most types of radio. For example (basing this on UK radio), something like Heavy is the Crown is probably not going to get a lot of rotation on mainstream daytime radio, but Over Each Other, if it does well in the charts, is more likely to show up. That’s my take at least.

I’m inclined to agree. A whole new generation is discovering the band, plus the rest of us. Album is going to be huge.

For me, the three releases so far have nailed it in terms of showcasing the future of the band… Mike and Emily singing, Mike rapping and Emily screaming, and Emily singing. Feels like they’re being very careful to get everything as right as they can.

Hmm seems to be getting common now. List a load of variants, then add more after preorders have already started. Or in Coldplay’s case recently, shortly after initial release. Guess it’s all about collectible FOMO.

Huh. I didn’t mind the 360 stage. Meant that no one seat seemed a million miles away, unlike when the stage is at one end.
