    Oh it's beautiful Definitely see why it was left off Meteora since it doesn't really sound like the rest of the album. But God damn does it sound great.

    Chester did say the songs they left off Meteora were really good but were left off because they didn't fit the album.

    Yeah I don't think we'll get a Static-X "the new singer dresses like the corpse of the dead singer" thing or anything. I firmly believe that the five surviving members of Linkin Park will make music together again and if that includes a new sixth member they'll make that change respectfully.

    Yeah one of the reasons this is more exciting to me compared to HT20 is the fact that we're getting a whole CD of stuff we've never heard while the demo CD with HT20 had songs that had been leaked years earlier.

    It doesn't necessarily have to be new music. I just think we're getting at least one more Linkin Park thing this year that isn't Meteora 20. I'd love for it to be new music but it could be anything really.

    There are demos of both songs from LPU9 on the LPU Rarities disc. This is to differentiate from those versions.

    I understand that Blackbirds was released during the A Thousand Suns era but it was a Minutes To Midnight b-side and I think belongs on the MTM release more than the ATS release.

    Just speculation that the puzzle will be completed today and we'll get the first song from Meteora 20 along with the official announcement of the box set. I think somebody uncovered a date/time in the code that points to today being the day.

    Being stuck at school (this time as a member of staff lol) and sneaking peaks at LPLive for news on a new Linkin Park release is making me feel all sorts of nostalgic. lol

    I think those of us who didn't buy it through Warner are just shit outta luck.

    I don't think Lost (2002 Mix) is actually something that's getting released. It wasn't on the official tracklist when Warner put up the set by mistake.

    Well according to Chester the songs that were finished but cut were cut because they didn't fit the album but were still (in the band's opinion) really good songs. So at least we know that about Lost.

    This is my theory too. I wouldn't be surprised if Plaster II ends up having the final Figure.09 chorus and/or bridge lyrics over a different instrumental track since the Figure.09 demo we got on LPU9 was pretty similar instrumentally to the final song.

    I guarantee the LinkingPark-Numb.exe isn't a hint at which song(s) will be released before the box set comes out. It's just a reference to a well-known meme about P2P file-sharing apps from the time Meteora came out.

    Knowing Meteora-era Linkin Park there still could be a big, heavy bridge/breakdown in the middle though. Also that blue screen numb.exe thing is fantastic. Brings me back to the Kazaa/Limewire days. lmao

    HT20 leaked about two days early due to some people getting their box sets early. I listened to the leak because the estimated arrival date for my package was like the 17th or something and I didn't want to wait that long. lol

    I'd love to get anything new that's Linkin Park related. I'm super pumped for the Meteora 20 thing but something new from the band would be even more exciting.
