There is no way this album is 45 minutes. Just because Phoenix threw out the 45 minute length doesn't mean anything. He was estimating, it's not like he has the exact time memorized. I guarantee you the album is longer than 45 minutes.

I was just thinking about that. It would be a 27 song setlist, but it isn't THAT much longer than a 20-22 song one. Though I imagine that would get rough after a while.

Bingo. They can give back to their fans in other ways besides being their musical slaves. I feel like this album is going to be sort of in the style of a way-less-dark-in-tone NIN album. One thing we know for sure is that the band absolutely loves the music they've just made, which excites me.

Everyone, there is no way this album is 45 minutes long. It's 15 tracks, and the times we know of already are all at least 4 minutes, with one being almost 6. The rest of the tracks aren't going to magically be 2 minute songs.

That would still mean a majority of the album would have to be between 2:00 and 2:30. That is definitely not happening.

And before anyone bitches about it being a 45 minutes album, use your brains for a moment. There is no way in hell the album is 45 minutes long. It's not like Phoenix has the exact album time memorized. His point was just that the album was made to be listened to as a full album. If you subtract the time from the 6 track sample songs from 45 minutes, you have about 17 and a half minutes for 9 songs. That averages under 2 minutes per song. That's not happening.

So wait, that Medal Of Honor site is going to premier the music video on August 1?

If they aren't going to play album songs like APFMH, they definitely aren't going to play ATL.

The album isn't going to be split in half like that. The whole album is going to be experimental-industrial-electronic-progressive rock. Some songs will probably just emphasize different aspects.
