I'm honored haha. As someone who has been an LP fan since 2000, since I was 12 years old, I think I will share that same excitement on my first listen. I've grown up with this band and I'm excited that they have grown up too, instead of falling into the trap so many other bands do of staying too static. Haha I don't think I've ever been sigged before...glad some people are with me on this.

I love it. I don't want Hybrid Theory again. I don't want Meteora again. When MTM came out that's what I wanted. But once MTM grew on me and I saw the ideas these guys have when they think outside their "label", I wanted things to progress further. This is doing it in my opinion. Like the guys always used to say, they chose the name Linkin Park because it means nothing. It lets the music define the name. And I believe that is still true to this day.

I hope they release a 7" picture disc like they did for the MTM singles. Those things are sweet!

Here's the problem with your whole post. You dont want art on the cover. You want a picture of the band. That's awfully boybandish. Jesus I'd be pissed if either of those was the cover of their albums! Back to this album...I like it. Simple. Obviously has a meaning but maybe not something the band will say

I have to give a huge fucking round of applause to the LPL community...no one is jumping to conclusions! Like its been said, its 10 seconds and for anyone that says they don't like it, just wait to hear the full song before judging please. I think Chester is there too singing the harmony. I'm betting this is towards the end due to the fact that the drums used in this clip were labeled Outro Drums...my best guess

Yes, as it's been said before it's obviously the pixelated image. As it's also been said it will most likely change when the every pixel is filled in.

Are you guys not reading what other people are posting? The image isn't going to be the album cover till it's fully revealed. It's a decoy/placeholder.

I'm not gonna be able to do this tonight guys. The website just crashed my computer for a third time and I have work in the AM. Hopeully Mike will see how much trouble we're having and put the files on his soundcloud or something. I never said it was about finding a talented musician. But once again, don't you think being picked by LP means you're a talented musician? And how can you say "If you win, you're name will maybe be written on myspace and in the booklet in a very small font size."? You don't know that. That's not a fact. You think they're just gonna throw a remix on the album and barely mention who did it? I'm not saying you get on this track and your famous. Getting big in the music industry is only possible by people hearing your work. I think getting something you did on an LP album will get you plenty of listens to at least get some people talking. BTW Linkin Park will NOT make millions off the album. Warner will. LP and most other artists get their money from live shows. Lrn2musicindustry.

You don't think being featured on an LP song might get you a little attention? No, you wont make money off this song but it puts your name in millions of hands across the world. Get real my friend.
