I agree with everything Astat said. Chester sounded fine, not exceptional but I only caught one spot where he was off pitch. Thank you Astat for being as pissed about the overuse of the term AutoTune in inappropriate situations as I am. Uneducated people don't understand. Overall I thought LP brought it. It will get better with time like it always does.

Cool thanks for fixing a few things. One thing you changed that shouldn't have been changed was "Kane said don't step, I ain't the one." Those are from the song Raw '91, he doesn't say "stab". Also you changed "fortune and the fame" to "a fortunate of fame" which makes no sense and is not what he says either. There's a few other things you changed that I'm not sure about but we'll have official lyrics eventually and it wont matter any more anyways.

I'm pretty sure only The Catalyst will be broadcast...usually bands get one song on these shows and that's it.

I'm working on When They Come for Me at the moment.

I'm not going to give a track by track review but I will say overall it's a 9/10 for me. With HT being 10/10, Meteora, 9/10, MTM 7/10 (8 if you count the b-sides lol). I LOVE this album. The initial disappointment I felt when I heard MTM was not present today. I found myself smiling, getting chills and even shedding a tear at one point (during Waiting for the End). My high points have to be Waiting for the End, Blackout, When They Come for Me, and Fallout-->The Catalyst. YOU FUCKING RULE LINKIN PARK. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

That's great. Unfortunately that has nothing to do with this song. Jesus do you people not understand? LP has always been about blending styles and this album is no different. Does the rapping have somewhat of a reggae vibe to it? Yes. But you have NOT heard the full song and you don't know how it will sound in the context of the song. I'm so sick of people like you posting stupid ass one sentence replies immediately bashing whatever you hear. At least explain what you don't like.

It sounds like Chester says "gone" at the end of the chorus but that doesn't make any since so I'm thinking it's "got".

Interesting. Definitely want to hear the full song before I make my judgments but I like the direction it's going.

Meteora may be my favorite LP album so far (it's a toss up between that and HT) so I guess I'll thank Warner for that. But I do think the experimentation began on Meteora, just within the same song structure of HT. The shakuhachi flute on NL, inverted acoustic on SIB, stuff like that. It was basically gutiar bass drums vocals and samples/scratching on HT. Yeah the things I mentioned are still samples but they're stuff that came from outside the box. I agree that there was pressure from the label but I don't think they wrote and scrapped a whole album of material. Just my 2 cents.

Love it. Didn't read the whole thread cause there are too many replies and frankly a lot of you are terrible at describing songs lol. No offense to anyone but this was not the song I expected after reading a few reviews and boy am I glad. Cause it sounds nothing like how people described it. This album is going to destroy MTM. I'm already certain of that. And to the people saying welcome back Joe...did you listen to The Catalyst? He was there. He was there on MTM too just not scratching. I've fought this battle too many times and I'm not doing it again lol.
