  1. I was nowhere near the front during Rock Am Ring 07 and yet the crowd was still mental from where i was. Mosh pits everywhere, everyone screaming and jumping. Awesome. Not one of Lp's best performances though imo. The MTM promo show at London Astoria (3May07) was the most mental Lp crowd i've ever been in. As the arena was filling up, it was mostly adults, not like most gigs i've been to. But when Lp came on, the corwd was fucking mental, i went from being at the very front to in the middle then near the back etc. Just because everytime a song kicked in, it was mayhem . One of my best Lp experiences.
  2. As i thought, thanks Astat. Now i just have to find the one with the video. It says it's a UK single, and being from the UK, you'd think it'd be easy, but it's far from it . An yeah, the vinyl is awesome. Got mine from eil.com
  3. Mike's voice is awesome in this song. Who knew he could sing so well...
  4. Nearly all Lp fans say that MTM was either the best or worst Lp album. They should have released No More Sorrow in place of LOATR or SOTD imo. And the videos for Bleed It Out & Given Up sucked. They could have done something special for Chester's long scream in Given Up and Bleed It Out was just plain boring. Although i am in the video for Given Up (along with thousands of other random faces like)
  5. Lp (inc videos and not inc live)- 595 Related- 158 Overall (inc vids)- 2089 It's a juicy 120gb with 'Ashley O'Neill' 'Linkin Park Underground' on the back Mike mentioned on his blog one time, that he has around 11,000 songs on his iTunes and that doesn't include the stuff he only has on vinyl. Anyone have even close to that many?
  6. This is the best Lp album and the best album full stop imo. Start to end it's just amazing. And the In The End piano intro is just so cool and recognisable...
  7. Faint has the coolest intro ever, is amazing live and has Chester's best vocal performance (in particular the 'Hear me out now' part) until Given Up that is...
  8. 9 OSC/With You cassettes? How on earth did you manage that? Nice one You know the Given Up single? Can we just clarify the different versions available please? I have the following: Physical Format Given Up 1. Given Up Download Format Given Up 1. Given Up 2. Valentines Day (Live) 3. In Between (Live) Wikipedia says this version is 'Digital Download/Maxi Single CD2'. Does this mean it's available in download and physical format or that the download is the maxi single? Then the German ebay is selling a physical version with the following tracklist 1. Given Up 2. Valentines Day (Live) Here: http://cgi.ebay.de/LINKIN-PARK-GIVEN-UP-Ma...%3A1|240%3A1318 ...And i think a few people have the 1 track physical version but with the Given Up video on. Can anyone confirm that these are the only versions? Or add any more? And possible post a link to anywhere that's selling the one with the video on? Thanx
  9. I'm going to the Knebworth show and will be happy to help out with anything. Also, I'll go to most if not all shows in the UK and Ireland.
  10. Christina Aguilera released a Greatest Hits after only 3 albums and Lp have a similar hardcore fan base and are very marketable. Anyone think that Lp might be behind this? In order for them to get out of their contract with Warner? Or does the contract state that the albums must be new?
  11. In The End & Numb/Encore. I know people who don't like any rock music but know/like In The End, they always sing along to it. And people who are only into rap or club music etc have Numb/Encore blasting out of their phones/cars all the time. They're by far the most recognisable Lp songs imo. Good luck with your presentation...
  12. Nope your not, i didn't get the e-mail either. Wonder why? Good news for Russia . Only having 2 shows there must suck.
  13. I'm guessing your aware of this info/site and probably have a reason for not using it but thought I'd post it just in case. http://www.lpamerican.com/portal/index.php...=92&lang=en
  14. I think they are one of the nicest bands out there. I wouldn't want to be a part of any other bands scene. Just wouldn't be the same. An i personally think Mike especially, is probably the coolest/nicest most genuine guy in the music business, especially to his fans. Maybe they could do a little more here and there, but they are busy people and have been doing this for years, it might get a little tiresome after a while. I'm happy with the band anyways. An here's a few reminders of why i think the above: Lp Underground Tour (this was free wasn't it?) Reanimation Audio (Xmas present for LPuers) Meet & Greets at almost every show (can anyone name another band that does this?) Always saying things like 'our fans are the best in the world'. Mike even mentions the LP & FM Fan Clubs in a song: Nobody's Listening (Green Lantern Remix) 'what up to the Militia and the LPU' (i don't know of any other band doing that) Just things that have made me think they're cool! I agree. The slow songs do put a downer on the show. It's awesome though, when after playing loadsa slow songs, you hear the intro for No More Sorrow, From The Inside or Given Up etc...
  15. People!!! This is Linkin Park we're talking about (I'm sure you know that like ) But forget all the slow songs (LOATR, SOTD, BTH etc), i think they should end it with what they do best. Huge sounding loud songs like Faint, One Step Closer or Given Up, Qwerty even. Songs that make you scream back! Go out with a bang and with Chester screaming his lungs out. Not singing into the mic to a slow ballad like a boyband
  16. One Step Closer! That awesome intro that Mike played made the song that much better.
  17. In The End. That piano intro and Mike's rapping was so addictive! And who doesn't sing along to the chorus?
  18. Here's the bonus tracks on the iTunes Meteora: 14- Lying From You (Live @ LP Underground Tour 2003) (Unknown show) 15- From The Inside (27February03 @ Docks, Hamburg) 16- Easier To Run (11March03 @ Worcester Palladium, Massachusetts)
  19. Ordered my ticket today. £183.80 in total I've been told that Nine Inch Nails are either about to be confirmed or are a very strong rumour. Both sound promising anyways...
  20. Even if you don't like the packages or think the exclusive stuff is exclusive anymore etc, i still think if your a massive Lp fan then you should join. It's the official fan club of the band and is full (well mostly full) of similar minded people. Everyone on there loves a chat about anything Lp related. I'd never not be a member for any reason. I wouldn't let the material things put you off. Just go for it...
  21. I know the answer to this is most probably a big fat 'HELL NO' but i'm gonna ask anyway! Is there now way we can sniff around the 02 Arena (bombard them with e-mails for example) to squeeze any info out of them. Of course they're not gonna tell anything... But if everyone on here sent them 20 e-mails a day, they just might... haha If i lived in London and not Liverpool, I'd apply for a job there, just to try to find out... Tell your friends Mum nice one, even if it's not true, at least new Lp tours/gigs for 09 are on the agenda (aside from the Sonisphere Festival that is)...
  22. Hybrid Theory- makes for an awesome logo/tattoo/poster etc too.
  23. Serg, can you tell me where you got your Mixtape from please? I ordered mine from DJ Green Lantern's Official Store: http://www.djgreenlantern.com/site/htmlStore.html I ordered it before Xmas and have e-mailed them, as it still hasn't came, but heard nothing back since so... Gonna have to order it again! Thanx
  24. Bad picture i know, but this is my Lp collection thus far...
  25. Brown/White Mike DCs. Cost me a bomb and took ages to be delivered... But totally worth it
