  1. Well he chose to diss Mike a little bit over a misunderstanding from 10 years ago. That's not what I would call mature. It's just his version of the story anyway so I wouldn't expect him to be impartial
  2. Yeah. Fort Minor as it was in 2005 was a moment in time for Mike. A phase of his life that is likely gone. When Mike brought back Fort Minor briefly in 2015 and was working on again in 2017 it was a different thing, still great but different. He was not looking to collaborate with those same people so I doubt he will ever do it again. Fort Minor might be back in the future, I would bet on it, but it still won't be like it was in 05-06.
  3. Alcohol and coke are very different
  4. I feel like every show in the From Zero world tour is a bigger spectacle than anything the band has ever done. I'm not talking about performance. Right now the band is clearly full of energy, enthusiasm and they are crushing their individual performances. But it feels like there's a ton more focus and work to make better show, with the stage, the lights, etc. The Milan show in 2025 visually felt like a better product overall then the past shows they had played in Italy. After watching both Pinkpop shows from 2007 and 2012 and the comparing them to the recents pro-shots the difference is evident imo. Idk maybe it's also due to the fact that there's better camera work in the new shows.
  5. Let's not forget that also brasilian fans acted entitled and crazy when the band changed the schedule of the south American tour. Regardless of where people are coming from, I have no sympathy for fans mobbing on socials. People are always complaining about everything
  6. It was clear already. That is fans acting entitled. People being nuts in Instagram comment section
  7. Or maybe you just like to imagine a scenario that could make them complain more. They get exactly what they paid for, dude you are tripping as much as those fans.
  8. We all know that. But I mean tough luck then. They are still seeing LP in India. Complaining about that feels childish and entitled to me. Two shows in India are not to be taken for granted. The second show would have never happened if the demand for lolla was poor. It's a classics case of giving people a hand and them taking the whole arm.
  9. No doubt he's the leader of the band but I don't see anything wrong with saying that Emily is the lead singer and therefore the band is female fronted. If you see LP live you see Emily sing the chorus almost all the time with very few exceptions. Then it's fine also too say that LP is both male and female fronted, probably more correct. But come on choose a better battle
  10. I don't have issues with that. To me you're nitpicking. She's linkin park lead singer most of the time.
  11. Lol as if you could care more than them about their health
  12. Am I wrong or we still don't have a live video for Over Each Other? (just the audio recording from Paris 24)
  13. Linkin park was never about single individuals becoming rockstars. Mike, Joe, Dave, Rob and Brad couldn't care less about being rockstars, they are all anti-diva personalities. Mike has the legend status, that's above rockstar status
  14. I looked back at some of the interviews with Mike while he was promoting THP and I didn't find anything that I would consider eyerolling, disrespectful to pop music etc. Can you provide some examples of the cheesy thoughts that Mike farted?
  15. Your interpretation of Mike's words during the promo for THP is way off imo. Mike was commenting on the situation on alternative/rock radio which were almost always playing pop-rock/alternative type of songs and few truly rock songs. It was not a knock on other bands at all. Mike's words described exactly what was happening, the decline of rock music. They were doing pop rock before THP and they did pop music after THP. It was not dishonest nor incoherent. LP committed to release a heavy and raw rock record knowing that the market was not going to reward it commercially and they did it for the reasons Mike talked about.
  16. It's 7th but all the 6 above aren't single day events. For example the tour de france is a 3 weeks event so the viewership is cumulative. There's no chance that more people watch a single stage of tour de france than the champions league final.
  17. In 2017 only 3 of the 4 shows in the UK were played in big arenas, one in London was played in a much smaller concert venue. The overall capacity was 60K at best, so significantly smaller than Wembley alone. Also playing 4 shows means people can attend more than one. It's a big difference.
  18. LP flirted with soft songs during From Zero. Both HITC and LYF had quieter version. So next album I can definitely see that happening.
  19. I think people are exaggerating when they say that LP went safe or took a comfortable path with FZ. I mean it's true that given the fact that the lineup had changed and they were coming back after a long time they wanted to give to the audience something that could be easily identified with LP. That's true for some of the songs, especially the singles, but not all songs. Linkin Park is not exactly known to the general public for type of songs like cut the bridge, overflow, stained, good things go and over each other. Sure some of these have elements that may take inspiration from past albums but the overall result imo feels like something new. At the end exploring more and innovating more is always fun and all but LP already explored and combined so many genres that it's not that easy to continue to do so in a commercially viable way. Maybe next album will be more focused on a specific genre instead of being so heterogeneous like FZ. I mean if LP stuck with the FZ style what kind of style even is that? Anyway I think that the bonus tracks Unshatter and Let You Fade made it clear that the band is not running out of ideas for the future
  20. Both your interpretations don't exclude Chester tho. The song can be about Chester, it's not really important if it really is in the songwriters minds.
  21. Agreed. Very well said
  22. Yeah it's not about quality. It's about the focus. The focus so far has definitely not been on hip hop. There's no real hip-hop first song yet from the new lineup.
  23. I think we are reading too much into it.
  24. Earlier than that. Brad appears in the bts video for Friendly Fire. He's in Mike's studio in december 2023.
  25. I feel like you are right. It's not unusual for Mike to revisit demos/embryonic tunes and rework them into songs. Great job dude. Like how did you even remember that live that I had completely forgotten?
