I have been a LP fan for a long time but I joined LPlive recently. I had no idea that the LP fam was this whiny. Almost all the comments here are to complain about something, the artwork, the tracklist, the timing, the reason for this release, etc. 🤣

It will also be released on cd. It is a greatest hits. Singles collection and greatest hits in this case are equivalent since all the biggest LP songs are singles. Using spotify as a metric to value the songs popularity, the first non single in the top streamed songs are at number 19 and 20, and they are a place for my head and lying from you, which makes sense to exclude in this release so that hybrid and meteora don't overshadow all the rest of LP discography.

To me it's not really a big deal if THP is not featured in this singles collection or if any other songs, like heavy, given up, the catalyst, etc are not in the tracklist. It's not like these songs are suddenly unavailable. If I want to hear THP I know where it is. Also with a limit of 20 songs (18 if we don't count 1 unreleased track and 1 hidden gem that are necessary to better promote a relese like this) there was always going to be hits left out, so one way or another somebody was going to find a reason to complain.

There's plenty of linkin park listeners who have never heard of QWERTY. I just wrote to 2 friends who I went to a LP show with if they had seen the news of friendly fire and qwerty and they had no idea qwerty existed. One of them even has a linkin park inspired tattoo, some lyrics from the messenger

I'm ok with QWERTY being #14. I love that song, I wanted it on streaming for so long and I don't own any of the physical release with QWERTY on it so it's another good reason for me to buy the singles collection. I was just saying that is not sure that QWERTY is 14, it's just very likely

If he's not trolling then QWERTY is definitely in the tracklist but we don't know if it's really #14, it could also be #21

I don't mind the artwork at all. I think it's just fine. Simple but evocative
