My guess is the Rob drum track is "Massive"

And since that BBB SOUNDBITES video says "This is Resolution", it sounds like it could be an instrumental/demo version of Lost before Chester did vocals on it.

Who knows what "Massive", "Healing Foot", "Wesside", and "Resolution" truly are. Only time will tell. Only on April 7th will we find out the truth and, hopefully, put an end to the never ending questions and speculations about the Lost Demos.

Wouldn't be surprising but would be funny. Lost is pretty perfect the way it is so now after listening to it for weeks, they probably got it right with not including the TTTAMP lyrics on the bridge. The bridge in the song is awesome.

That's very true. Especially the "I'm lost", "I try to keep this pain", "I will never be", and "alright" backing vocals that harmonize behind Chester's lead vocals in the bridge.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't want to shit on everything and complain. I am as excited for this whole thing as everyone else on here. I am also just really worried that we get a similar situation as with the HT20 where an otherwise amazing release is going to be tainted with unnecessary problems.

I have a feeling that's the exact reason on why they pushed the release date for it from March 24th to April 7th. They want to avoid something like that happening again.

  4. It seems March is PACKED with Linkin Park related stuff:

March 3rd - Still Alive (Demi Lavato) [Written and Produced by Mike Shinoda]

March 10th - Scream VI (Mike's solo song will be somewhere in the movie)

March 17th - Wake Me and ...No Sun Today reissues released on streaming platforms (Grey Daze)

March 24th - Fighting Myself (Linkin Park)

    Edit: Fixed this list.

Also, since there's only one demo called The Glistening for THP. are there any more demo titles for THP? please let me know.

There's a couple more things you forgot for 'The Hunting Party'. You forgot "Final Masquarade (Acoustic)". You also forgot about there being an early version of "War". Here's the information about it on Linkinpedia: "Very little changed between the demo version of the song, and the track found on The Hunting Party, though an early version of the track did have Chester yelling "1-2-1-2-FUCK-YOU" instead of the "1-2-1-2-THANK-YOU" that made the album."

Massive, Resolution or Wesside could end up being Soundtrack with vocals.

I thought Massive was an instrumental, like Healing Foot was also supposed to be an instrumental. I remember seeing something either in the chatbox or on in a tweet from LPLive saying that tracks 1-3 (Lost, Fighting Myself, and More The Victim), and tracks 6-14 (A6 (Meteora|20 Demo), Cuidado ("Lying From You" Demo), Husky ("Hit The Floor" Demo), Interrogation ("Easier To Run" Demo), Faint (Meteora|20 Demo), Plaster 2 ("Figure.09" Demo), Shifter ("From The Inside" Demo), Wesside, and Resolution from the Lost Demos have vocals, while they didn't mention tracks 4 and 5 (Massive and Healing Foot) having vocals, leading me to believe those two are instrumentals.

    thank you :)

lets say you (as a musician doing 20th anniversary), you can't release Lost on February 24th (the day SIB was released), so you need to release Lost before you pass the feb 24th. you need to beat that SIB release date.

March 3rd would make sense because no Meteora singles was released on March (well, Lying From You was released as promotional single on March 16, 2004).

"Somewhere I Belong" was debuted live on February 23rd, 2003, but it was released as the lead single for Meteora on March 17th, 2003, 7 days before Meteora was released, according to it's Linkinpedia page.

oh @jopevc did you just used my comparison research that i used in the "exciting news" topic? lol. but good job using my comparision research. but you forgot to compare the One Step Closer release date and Somewhere I Belong release date.

but of course, i did mention about the second upcoming single release date (which i thought it could be an LPU rarities tracks) via "Exciting news" topic. but here's my theory:

March 3 (Friday), March 10 (Friday), March 17 (Friday), March 24 (Friday), or March 31 (Friday)

P.S., let's compare Faint release date and the M|20 second single as well.

Funny enough, you're right with one of those days. Per the chat box a couple days ago, Martinez said the next song "Fighting Myself" would become available everywhere March 3rd, 2023.

a finalized Cumulus with vocals is so beautiful. It’s just like i had imagined.

We know now, that Cumulus WAS a demo of an unreleased full song.

Turns out the 3 finalized songs from the sessions are in fact Lost, Fighting Myself, and More The Victim. The mystery of Meteora is no more.

Well, that's not the last of the mysteries of Meteora. We still don't know what Nocturnal is.

That Meteora song board is still too iffy to know what's going on with it. Where are Numb and Nobody's Listening? Figure.09 is on twice (under F09 and under Plaster II). Where is Fighting Myself? Etc.

LP's formula in this era is just great, it could really make some masterpiece songs.

    Mike: rapping
Chester: sings one beautiful pre-chorus line
    Mike: one rap line here
    Chester: chorus

    A+. These songs kick ass.

Fighting Myself is Shortcut. Underneath Shifter and above Nocturnal.

I thought it was 15 songs that got whittled down to 12 which would include Session? I don't think we'll get another full, polished outtake with vocals. I do think A6 is going to have vocals but I'm expecting a rougher demo compared to Fighting Myself, More The Victim and Lost which are fully realized songs with polished instruments and vocals.

I'm wondering though. Where did "Fighting Myself" originally come from? We recently found out that "More The Victim" came from "Cumulus".

Now do we have the 15 songs with vocals?

I think we only have 14 at the moment. We don't have 15 quite yet. Here's the list:

    1. Don't Stay (Sick)

    2. Somewhere I Belong (Pretty Birdie/Pretty Birdy)

    3. Lying From You (Cuidado)

    4. Hit The Floor (Husky)

    5. Easier To Run (Interrogation)

    6. Faint (Faint)

    7. Figure.09 (Plaster II/Plaster 2/Figure.09)

    8. Breaking The Habit (Drawing)

    9. From The Inside (Shifter)

    10. Nobody's Listening (Working title unknown)

    11. Numb (Working title unknown)

    12. Lost (Possibly Resolution)

    13. Fighting Myself (Shortcut)

    14. More The Victim (Cumulus)

Number 15 is either A6 (A-Six/A.06), Wesside, or Resolution, though, I'm pretty sure the 15th one is probably A6. Who knows.

Also, for Resolution, there have been many theories that Resolution is a demo of Lost. That hasn't been confirmed yet, but, if that's the case, then we'll have three different versions of Lost.

If More The Victim is Cumulus with vocals... that really makes me think Healing Foot is Broken Foot with (some form of ) vocals 😛 But probably not as complete as those 2 songs.

Same with A6, but that one is more obvious.

If that is the case with "Healing Foot", then that brings down the Rob drum song to being either "Massive", "Wesside", or "Resolution". Who knows.

M20 is crossing off multiple fan "holy grails". TTAMP = Lost, Cumulus with vocals (More the Victim), and Mike basically confirmed Rob's drum track from the Making of Meteora is one of the titles too. Mike really wasn't kidding about this year being an exciting time for fans.

So we can now confirm that the Rob's drum demo is not "More The Victim" nor "Fighting Myself". That brings it down to being either "Massive", "Healing Foot", "Wesside", or "Resolution".
