  1. Maybe we'll get it in a Meteora 20th anniversary box set (if they consider doing a box set for it!). But not just that, maybe also other songs such as 'A-Six' with vocals, "Thoughts That Take Away My Pride" (or whatever it's actual name is), 'The Wizard Song' (even though Chester says the song doesn't exist, he could be lying, but I'm pretty sure since he confirmed it, he's probably right), 'Nocturnal', 'Nursery' [or possibly "Hearsay"], 'Plaster II', 'Resolution', 'Serpent' [or possibly "Quotient"], and 'Shifter'. Heck, we could probably even get the Meteora remixes in the box set too! Also, unrelated to that former statement, maybe if they consider like a small Reanimation 20th anniversary 2 disc CD set (they probably wouldn't do that because they re-released Reanimation with the Hybrid Theory 20th anniversary box set, but, hey, there's still the option for that!), we could get the other Reanimation outtakes, such as the DJ Crook remix of 'My December', the DJ Z-Trip remix of 'Points of Authority', The Crystal Method remix of 'Points Of Authority' with Ryu's verse, that one remix by Tricky (not confirmed which Hybrid Theory song was remixed), that one remix by Prince Paul (not confirmed which Hybrid Theory song was remixed), and a possible remix by Björk (not confirmed which Hybrid Theory song was remixed).
  2. Is the clean album version of the song available anywhere else?
  3. I found a site that you can download it but it doesn't work. I tried to download it but it said I don't have access to it. https://www.allaccess.com/mail/archive/download/M/mark-morton-feat-chester-bennington/cross-off_8_1548102204.html
  4. Well my guess on when the performance could have happened is sometime between late April/early May 1999 and July 1999, a month before they signed with Warner and re-recorded Esaul for the 2-Track demo CD. But, then again, I could be wrong. Also, does anyone know who edited the DVD? Also, is the live snippet of "Dialate" from Top of the Pops 2003 just the intro to "Dialate" or is it a different part of the song?
  5. Where did that one clip of the New Divide early instrumental idea come from?
  6. Sample23 from the SNDS1 folder sounds like, and could be, a sample from Heartburn, a 2007 Demo. Sample41 from the SNDS1 folder sounds like, and is most likely, a sample from New Divide. Sample60 from the SNDS1 folder sounds like, and could be, a sample from Plastic, a Stagelight sample. Sample61 from the SNDS1 folder sounds like, and is most likely, a sample from Blackout. Sample65 from the SNDS1 folder sounds like, and is most likely, a sample from Blackout. Sample66 from the SNDS1 folder is another sample from Blackout. Sample68 from the SNDS1 folder sounds like it’s either a sample from Iridescent or Holding Company/Lost In The Echo. Edit: It’s actually a sample that would later be used on I’ll Be Gone. Sample69 from the SNDS1 folder is another sample from Blackout. I feel like Sample18 from SNDS1 might be a sample of World's On Fire, but I'm not too sure. Sample12 sounds similar to something I’ve heard before, but I can’t remember what it came from. Sample17 also sounds similar to something I’ve heard before, but, again, I can’t remember what it came from. Sample44 also sounds similar to something I’ve heard before, but, again, I can’t remember what it came from. The folder contains what sounds like are Minutes To Midnight and A Thousand Suns samples. There are more samples as well. I might need help figuring out what the rest belong to. But for now, these are all I could hear and understand as being a sample of those specific songs.
  7. When Mike Shinoda explained how "Iridescent" came together, "Iridescent just started with that piano bit. It was kind of like when we've done the acapella or piano and vocal versions. It kind of was that. I wrote it just piano and vocal and then built everything on top of the piano and vocal version. So not anything crazy there, it was just a very traditional writing process." When he mentions "vocal", who's vocals does he mean? Does he mean his, Chester's, the gang vocals, which ones? Also, for "Waiting For The End", the track originally started as drums and rap and was pretty boring to him, but he thought it had potential. As he and Chester thought of the possible vocal lines for the song, the line "Waiting for the end to come" stood out to him and that line ended up helping them finish the rest of the track. Was the "rap" the original rapping in the final version, or was it different rapping? On the YouTube video of "Ground Xero", that was uploaded by LPLive Archive, I read the comments and 1 person said "It sounds like Stephen Richards from Taproot". Another person said "It's not Mark Wakefield, it's Stephen Richards" or something along the lines of that.
  8. Was it Mark Wakefield, former vocalist for Xero (pre-Linkin Park), or Stephen Richards, vocalist of Taproot, who was credited with creating "Ground Xero"?
  9. You forgot about Beyond Warm, Everybody's Falling To Pieces, How Would You Be, Piece Of My Mind, and The Endless Highway, which were all played live in 1994, as well as Forever, which was played live in 1997.
  10. Don't you mean 135 to 70 in Audacity?
  11. Brad thought that Faint would be 70 BPM but when he came back the next day, or so, it was then brought up to 135 BPM. Does anyone know how slower the BPM would have to be in order to get 70 BPM from 135 BPM?
  12. I agree.
  13. How do you remove the laughing from the vocals of "The Wizard Song"? Also, does anyone know how to turn live audio into a more studio version type of audio? I'm looking to make a studio version of "The Wizard Song".
  14. An update to this "quick calculation": 7,783 members in total here If each donates $7, we will have $54,481 That would be enough to get the Marc Ostrick Lockout tape.
  15. This is not related to Linkin Park whatsoever. Does anybody know who Karma is? I'm talking about the Karma, who's bass player was with Relative Degree.
  16. We need to ask someone to help us get this footage. Maybe Mike, maybe Jeff, maybe Samantha, anyone of them would probably work. Maybe we could also find someone else who could help us with this problem.
  17. Update 8 years later: Carousel was written with Mark Wakefield. It was on a Xero CD that Jeff Blue has dating from November 17th, 1998. It also includes "Rhinestone" (1998 Version), "Esaul", "Pictureboard", "Fiends", "Stick N Move" (1998 Version), "Slip", "Pointillism" (Mike Shinoda Demo), & "Step Up".
  18. You should ask her about the song.
  19. Are Xero playing “Reading My Eyes”, or “Fuse” before “Rhinestone”? It’s at about 1:51 in the video. Edit: I think they are playing “Reading My Eyes” before “Rhinestone because at 1:57, it sounds like Mark is singing “Why not give me what I came to believe”.
  20. We should ask Mike about what 'Nocturnal', 'Nursery' [or possibly "Hearsay"], 'Plaster II', 'Resolution', 'Serpent' [or possibly "Quotient"], and 'Shifter' are to know if they are songs from the Meteora era or are working titles for songs off Meteora, similar to how "Cuidado" is actually the working title for "Lying From You". While I’m too sure about what the other ones could be, my guess is that the working title for “From The Inside” is “Plaster II”. The only reason I think that is because they are hard, heavy hitting hard rock songs. But, hey, that’s just me thinking out loud.
  21. Andrew Lanoie leaked the Xero version of "Pictureboard". Maybe he has the CD, or maybe he doesn't. Edit: Andrew Lanoie most likely doesn't have the CD. The only reason Andrew Lanoie has Pictureboard is because it was in Xero's audition tape when he auditioned for Xero when Phoenix left.
  22. What's the timeline for March/April/May 1999? I'm trying to figure out the timeline for how long the band kept auditioning singers after Chester sent his tape to Jeff Blue, as well as how long they rehearsed with Chester. Jeff mentions Samantha and Chester came over that weekend to celebrate Chester's new gig when he got the lead singing position for Xero. He also said that Chester said that "We decided to start rehearsing on Monday and begin writing new songs." Chester also said "Do you know how stressful these last six weeks have been?" Jeff also said the following week, he walked out of the bright sun shining on Hollywood Boulevard into the dark rehearsal studio, where the band was rehearsing their songs. He saw the band rehearsing, the guys tuning up their instruments. Joe scratching, Brad using his guitar, Rob drumming, Mike rapping, & Chester singing. Then, probably the following week or so, Jeff spoke to Rob Bourdon in Santa Monica, both of them sitting in the ocean on a Friday afternoon. Basically, I need a timeline of what happened when to understand what was going on around that time. That's all. Yes, it is from that November 17th, 1998 Xero demo CD.
  23. According to Linkinpedia, Stick N Move is 108 BPM. Does that mean the Xero demo and the "Runaway" 1998 demo instrumental are the same as "Stick N Move (Demo)" or are they different?
  24. Esaul ("A Place For My Head" Demo) should be the same as "Esaul (Xero Demo)" and "A Place For My Head", where it is 133 BPM. Forgotten (Demo) should be the same as "Rhinestone (Xero Demo)" and "Forgotten", where it is 110 BPM. All I know is that these should be fixed. Not too sure about the other songs I mentioned, though.
