Very late on this, but here's an update to this 2-3 months later: Almost 2 months ago I messaged Chris Flores about if the song was done, since he told me two weeks before that that the song should be done in a couple of weeks, but, anyways, he replied back to me with this: I then messaged him if she gave a reason on why she didn't want it released, and he replied back saying "No", meaning she didn't give a reason on why she didn't want to release the song. He also said that "maybe because the song is about her" and he said that he's pretty upset about the song not being released, as well as saying that maybe one day, it will be released. I then told him about if he confirmed Slash and Talinda's approval for him playing the snippet of the demo of the song. I also mentioned about Talinda wanting to release the demo the way it was, before the song got re-recorded with live instruments, but Chris decided to return to the studio to finish the demo before the idea was eventually shelved. I also asked if she changed her mind or something. He replied back to me with this: I recently just asked Chris if Talinda changed her mind again on wanting to actually release the track or not, and he told me "No".

Kinda late on it, but I messaged the owner through Twitter a week ago or so, and I have yet to get a reply back from her on it.

Update 2 years later: 01. Dialate - 1996 Xero Demo (Mark sings the song). Previously unknown/unheard song. 02. PB (Edit) - 1999 demo. Is the legendary song "Pictureboard" which was previously unreleased, but teased by Mike several times dating back many years. (Chester sings the song). 03. She Couldn't - 2000 demo. Demo leaked by LPLive in July 2009, never officially released. Version leaked has static on the end of the song, a release on Hybrid Theory 20 would be a huge quality upgrade. (Chester sings the song). 04. Could Have Been - 1999 demo (Chester sings the song). Previously unknown/unheard song. 05. Reading My Eyes - 1997 Xero demo. Xero song from 1996 on the Xero 4 track cassette demo. Is the same version that's on the tape (Mark sings this song). 06. Rhinestone - 1998 Xero demo. "Forgotten" demo. Xero song from 1996 on the Xero 4 track cassette demo. Is the re-recorded studio version with Mark from 1998 (leaked in 2019) [Mark sings this song]. 07. Esaul - 1998 Xero demo. Xero song from 1996, turned into "A Place For My Head" eventually. Is a re-recorded studio version with Mark from 1998 (Mark sings this song). 08. Stick N Move - 2000 demo. "Runaway" demo. Xero song from 1996 on the Xero 4 track cassette demo. Is a Chester studio version (Chester sings this song). 09. Carousel - 2000 demo. 8/7-track demo version (Chester sings this song). 10. Points Of Authority - 2000 demo. 6-track demo version (Chester sings this song). 11. Crawling - 2000 demo. 9-track demo version (Chester sings this song). 12. Super Xero - 2000 demo. "By Myself" demo. 9/8/7-track demo version (Chester sings this song). Also, yes, this is 2 years late, lol.

It's a completely different photo from the ones that are shown in Jeff's book. I added the two photos from his book to the main topic post already, by the way. I also added the link to the show to the main topic post too.

I'm not entirely sure. I don't have her book, so I don't know. Also, is this the book you are mentioning?: https://www.amazon.com/Falling-Love-Notes-Memories-Rock/dp/1735529907

I've known about this image for a year now, but haven't gotten around to showing it, until now. I originally saw it on an Instagram user's Instagram page about a year ago. That's how I originally found out about it. It came from this site: https://www.timetoast.com/timelines/linkin-park-a2ff06f1-de83-4612-86e7-eb8294579f21 A larger and more clearer version of the same image was also pinned to Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/799811215046432969/ Not only that, but the same larger and more clearer version of the image was pinned to Pinterest twice: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/791648440723219505/ The second Pinterest link leads to VK.com, where you can find the image: https://m.vk.com/photo-22736034_419659620?z=photo-22736034_456271849%2Falbum-22736034_00&list=album-22736034_00 I found the pages where the image was by reverse image searching it. I honestly don't know who originally got the photo or where it originally came from, but it's pretty cool nonetheless. Also, it's different from the photos we got in Jeff's book: Here's the show that the photos come from:

The link leads to a new tab saying that the site connection isn’t private and that the website might be impersonating www.mathclubmusic.com to steal my information.

Then how can you play the song?

I recently just found another song that's on BMI that credited to Junkyard Scientific. How do you find the Junkyard Scientific song "Flight Path"? I look on the Linkinpedia website on the Junkyard Scientific page and found this link that was supposed to lead me to the song. Instead, it shows me the page, but it just says the words "Summer Be Like" and there's nothing else. Besides the words I mentioned before, the page is blank. There's no audio file that pops up for you to listen to. The link that has the song "Animal House" works, though.
-
I misspelled the name of the song slightly, lol. The song is called “Eye for a Eye”, not “Eye for an Eye”. I’m guessing I misspelled the name of the song based off the lyrics I was hearing in the song.
-
True. Anyway, I wonder when we'll end up getting the full song of "Deftest"? No one bid on the auction for 💀Rear Admiral💀's Xero tape, meaning we won't get the full song from her, though, she might, possibly, do another auction for the tape. Additionally, Dave Garrett already knew about the auction for the Xero tape, meaning we might not get the full song from him, though, since no one bid on the tape, and that there hasn't been another auction done for the tape yet, we might, possibly, end up getting the full song from him, along with the other Xero tracks he has.
-
I didn't think about that. Whoops! Lol.
-
I just noticed something between the two snippets that we got from both Dave Garrett and 💀Rear Admiral💀. If you listen at around 0:39 while listening to Dave Garrett's snippet when Mike says "Hundred three BPM equals ninety degrees", you hear something in the with the music. I can't tell what it is. It sounds like an extra drum sound or something? I don't know what it is, honestly. Meanwhile, if you listen at around 0:35 (original snippet and fixed snippet) while listening to 💀Rear Admiral💀 when Mike says the same thing, the sound isn't there. Just thought it'd be something to share because I had JUST noticed that difference, with the extra drum sound or whatever it is, just then.
-
I'm guessing 115 BPM can be a guesstimate for the song.

What about the voice sample in Saimo? I can probably mess around with the pitch for the "Technique/Rendezvous" sample and the "Saimo" sample to see what I can get.
-
"And One" has a bpm of 115 (the main song, not the rap outro; the rap outro is 100 BPM). I also found the BPM's to decent amount of the LPU demos too. I put the song through here (https://tunebat.com/Analyzer), then, to make sure they actually are that BPM, I take either an AI acapella or instrumental of the LPU songs (unless it's a demo instrumental; in that case, I take a Linkin Park song acapella with the same BPM and put it over the demo instrumental) and put the AI acapella over an instrumental of another Linkin Park song with the same BPM, and vice versa. Then if it works, as if it sounds like a mashup, then that's when I can definitely tell that that is indeed the songs BPM. That's what I do to figure out the BPM's of those songs, anyway.

How can the vocal sound effects from "Nobody Can Save Me", "Battle Symphony", & "Sorry For Now" be changed? I saw these paragraphs on the pages for each of the songs: Nobody Can Save Me: Before One More Light was released, Mike Shinoda gave Waves a song-by-song glimpse into the album's production and mixing. For "Nobody Can Save Me", he said, "That’s one of my favorite sounds on the album. It was one of our scratch vocal tracks which we cut up and made the melody out of. There’s some basic low-pass filtering here with the Waves Linear Phase EQ, a little distortion, and a reverb with very short decay time. The filter is opened up in different sections, to make those sections feel bigger." Battle Symphony: The title "Battle Symphony" was first seen in a picture posted on Joe Hahn's Instagram story on September 6, 2016 of Brad playing acoustic guitar with the band's song board behind him. The song is about things falling apart and putting it back together. The vocal chops came from demo scat vocals Mike Shinoda chopped up in ProTools. He used pitch shifter and alterboy, and grabbed pieces and chopped it up on the grid. Then added some effects to finalize it. Describing how the samples in the song were made, Mike said, "I think that was part of the demo, like the vocal demo. And chopped up music from the demo, super effected. So treated both of those things together as if I sampled it, and then effected that. Played it on pads and stuff, as I recall." This was similar to how the samples in both "Nobody Can Save Me" and "Sorry For Now" were made on the album as well. Sorry For Now: Mike Shinoda spoke about how the collaboration came together in interview to LPAssociation, "On Sorry For Now, I had a finished vocal and a rough track that the whole band liked, but we all thought the track could use some spice. We invited Blackbear and Andrew Goldstein in with me, Chester, and Brad, and we created this vocal sample drop together that took the song to a whole new level. It was really fun having people with different perspectives and talents in the room each time." Describing how the vocal samples in the song were made, Mike said, "The high pitched voice on Sorry For Now, I think it was just a scat version of the chorus. So it may be saying 'Sorry For Now' and stuff and I just chopped it up. Or it may be saying gibberish, like some version of that. I think it may be a little bit of 'na na na.'"
