I thought that the real name of "Thoughts That Take Away My Pride" ("Lost") was either "Interrogation", "Shifter", "Serpent", or "Husky". I was completely wrong with that, lol.

Session kept it's working title.

Since Resolution doesn't have dirty guitar on it, that's probably not it. 

Faint kept it's working title.

Sick is the working title for Don't Stay.

Plaster II, as me and @IWillWalkAwayhave theorized, is either the working title for Hit the Floor or From the Inside.

Drawing is the working title for Breaking the Habit.

Figure.09 kept it's working title.

You can't forget about "Fighting Myself" and "More the Victim". I wonder those are gonna be. @Capacity said he thinks one of the those two is possibly "Cumulus" with vocals, while the other is an unreleased b-side.

He played the beginning of the Family Values Tour with a broke foot. They worked on a bunch of demos for Reanimation and Meteora inside their tour bus during that period.

Maybe they made "Healing Foot" while his foot was healing or after his foot was done healing, lol.

Maybe “Healing Foot” is the opposite of “Broken Foot”. You know how “Broken Foot” is heavy and hard rock? Maybe “Healing Foot” is soft and poppy.

Or it could be a similar demo to “Broken Foot”.

Or maybe it’s an unreleased version of “Broken Foot” with vocals.

That’s what I think, anyway. Who knows.

Edit: The lyrics most likely don't belong to Massive, Healing Foot, Wesside, Sick, Nocturnal or Serpent.

According to @AJ93, the lyric "Somebody angry (with the word 'angry' crossed out) broken" most likely belongs to either Fighting Myself or More the Victim.

I'm not sure what the lyrics "And everything I thought it'd be is nothing like it is" or "Wait 'til I'm free, I promise you'll see" belong to. Probably a different song.

I'm guessing the set of lyrics "I've carried this weight for too long... Disassociated, unappreciated. And everything I've hated, keeping me so jaded. I look into the mirror, and I hate what I see. All my lifes disfuction, alive in front of me" belong to "Lost", possibly. It's been mentioned before that the words/lyrics from the song were scribbled on the Meteora art wall at one point when Linkin Park, Delta, and Frank Maddocks were making it. Maybe those are more of the lyrics, maybe they aren't. Who knows.

I wonder if Lost is going to have the same lyrics we know, “thoughts that take away my pride, trapped in places deep inside”. Or if they’re gonna be different. Chester mentioned rewriting a song “for the 97th time” at the Making of Meteora part where that song was being recorded. It could be a different song they were talking about though. They probably will be the lyrics we know since Lost was already confirmed to be “Thoughts That Take Away My Pride”

I guess we'll find out whenever they announce Meteora 20. Hopefully, it's either by the end of this week or sometime next week.

Also, maybe the band is holding it off for longer. Maybe they know about the leak.

We gotta wait a couple more months though before we get A6 with vocals. We'll get Lost (TTTAMP) sometime this month. As for when, I'm not sure. They still haven't teased any stuff or made any announcement for Meteora 20 yet.

And this time around, all of the songs in the demos tracklist are all unreleased and never heard before, unlike Hybrid Theory 20, where only 5 of them were unreleased and unheard and the other 7 were leaked and heard previously before their official releases.

Now here are some of my predictions:

1. The song’s title is either “Shifter” or “Nocturnal”. Yes, keep in mind a supposedly “leaked” Nocturnal was released on youtube, but it is in fact fake. It was found to not be Linkin Park, instead a demo by a band called Riverline.

These two titles were mentioned before the album release in 2003 in an interview, so clearly by then they had to have been finished songs, just not included on the album. Some say it’s possible they could’ve been working titles but I have my doubts that any songs still had working titles by that point (other then the ones that kept them of course).

 

2. “Thoughts That Take Away My Pride” might not have been the final chorus lyrics, which may be why Mike doesn’t recognize them.

 

3. If my other two statements are incorrect, the song/demo may have never received final lyrics, and remained an instrumental.

5 songs remained (Hit the Floor, Easier to Run, From the Inside, Nobody's Listening and Numb).

 

For me, Nocturnal and Shifter are two unreleased b-sides (the rumour of Mike saying about those two in Meteora times and the Spin article mentioning both is what made my point).

 

According with the note from Mike in LPU 13, about Cumulus, they "tried to work on it, but it sounded too poppy". It seems a similar case to A.06: They tried to give vocals to it (maybe even has a version with vocals), but didn't worked.

 

So, if we exclude the 7 names we already know their respective final songs; and removing Nocturnal, Shifter and Cumulus, we have 5 demo's name left.

IMO, that 5 names (Interrogation, Resolution, Serpent, Husky and Plaster II) are the demos from the other 5 final songs from Meteora.

And, about Numb being recorded in the end of the process: according with the Meteora booklet, the song was conceived one week before they start to work on studio. So, I believe that Numb is also on that board.

 

To finish, again, IMO, the only "newer" songs from Meteora, with vocals and all, are Nocturnal and Shifter and, probably, one of those is "Take Away My Pride".

I just noticed something about this tentative tracklist for Meteora20 that someone made not long ago and posted on Reddit.

The demos in the LPU disc are in the same order as the tracklist of the LPU & B-Side Rarities disc that Martinez provided.

Edit: I was wrong, it's not in the same order, but's it's pretty close to what was provided, lol.

I'm still wondering if we are going to get those unreleased Meteora remixes as a part of Meteora 20.

That's what I'm curious about too, lol. Maybe that's not all the demos on the tracklist. Maybe there are more demos than just the ones that were shown. If we do get those other 3 with the ones currently in the tracklist, we would have 18 songs, which is the same amount of songs that Rob did drums on.

Also, from looking at the song board I made based off the one shown on the Making of Meteora again, Serpent doesn't have clean guitar, it just has dirty guitar on it. Does Numb or Nobody's Listening have clean guitar? Maybe we can figure out based off the info we know on both songs based off the board (we won't be able to figure out Nocturnal though, lol).
