  1. From our good friends at LPCatalog: Linkin Park is repressing Collision Course on vinyl with a release date set for this month - September 27, 2024. The vinyl has only been released twice - on black vinyl in 2004 and for Record Store Day in 2014 on transparent blue vinyl. Both runs are pretty limited so this will be a good opportunity for fans to get the vinyl that missed out on it the first two times around in previous decades. Find Collision Course's 2024 vinyl in online stores, like Rough Trade, for $23-25.
  2. There are risks starting with stadium shows. You need to see how the new single does, what album preorders look like, etc. They’ve also been away 7 years and have a new band lineup - you need to get them used to playing with you in front of crowds. Arenas are fine for now but they do have stadiums booked in 2025 (maybe announce around the album release?) and headlining festival slots.
  3. Rob was around after that. His name is on Notes from the band from May 2022.
  4. Can we say for certain that didn't happen with Rob? Metallica did Anesthesia as a tribute to Cliff for eons, as recently as the Hardwired Tour. It just seems odd when bands like Alice in Chains, etc do a tribute quite often. This was the first run of LP shows back, just surprised at no OML or a song for Chester. Even dedicating BTH to him which Mike was unsure they'd ever even play again.
  5. Hmm. Don't think they finalized songs back then before going to EastWest Studios in 2023 with Emily - surely they are enough of a perfectionist band that they re-recorded everything then and made it super good, instead of keeping a ton of material from Mike's house. But I don't know that for sure. Brad said he didn't even meet Emily until they went to the studio - he met her many years after the rest of the band had been working with her. Brad may have just been a "Mike needs him for producer role as a shoulder to lean on for studio LP work" type of deal and Brad wanted to stay in the band after all, OR Brad trusted the other 3 the entire time to get things right before he eventually joined in (and he was never "out"). One of those two. I guess song credits can tell us more about everything. The confusing one is Rob since he didn't leave until very late 2022, or early 2023 just before Meteora 20. So he was aware of the sessions with Emily, likely even met her since he was involved as far back as 2019 with sessions. What a crazy situation with him.
  6. Wonder why they are going with different people for mixing and mastering?
  7. Just wanted to get some opinions on the band not having a moment for Chester in the set. It appears Lost could be that moment, but it is a little shocking the band doesn't mention him in general for a tribute moment or dedicate a song to him in the concert. After three shows (two full shows), it seems deliberate. Any thoughts?
  8. I noticed the band at least is not doing the HEAVY start -> slow mid-set part -> singles moves. We have a looong run of bangers now, and Keys in the encore, etc... the structure of the show has changed a bit. Of course you get like Lost, BTH, LOATR in the middle but it doesn't drag like it has previously at times.
  9. Wow very nice work! Great gear too.
  10. You're reading it wrong - the headliners announced are Metallica x2. That's it. There are two headliner spots left (it's a 4 day festival). Zombie and AIC are support acts, not headliners. LP likely plays this festival.
  11. Inception A with Castle is a lot better than Inception C with Burn It Down.
  12. Zane Lowe has a part 2 on the album interview so Emily will be in that with the rest of the band. She will do more album-related press surely too.
  13. Thanks for sources! Will get show page updated and song pages created on the wiki for the new intros (BID instead of COG). Was completely worn out from 2 weeks of travel for 3 shows. Poster: No cardboard tube. A plastic sleeve, but it isn't much. At all. And the poster is 18x24, standard size. It is not very thick.
  14. Wow what a great catch. There are so many interesting things in the show like this. Joe playing the piano parts on Emptiness Machine, etc. Added some sources to the show page and edited some notes, songs, etc. Happy with it for now. Interested in the Breaking the Habit intro tonight - the crash sample was there but nothing else for LA.
  15. Brad is not going to play TV performances. He is not playing live at all. Nothing. Alex is the guitarist for shows.
  16. Lot of recordings! Will start to get these added to the show page and get it updated today with some tweaks.
  17. Absolutely worn out from this one. Loudest LP crowd I've ever been a part of. Incredible show. The energy in there was just insane. Band sounded fucking amazing. They are in great form live, everyone has to see this in 2025.
  18. Wow, hate to miss this, but can't make this on Tuesday. Next time!
  19. Not that we know of. But we will provide setlist updates on Twitter as usual.
  20. We are very excited to announce a project that we have been working on for the website, part of which you may have already seen, and that is moving the live guide on LPLive over to the Linkinpedia pages! For a long list of reasons, this will better help integration with the wiki overall (song pages, etc), but a long-term goal of getting the website into a mobile-friendly format is now finally achieved! This has been a long time coming for a mobile-friendly layout for the site. Over the course of the year, we have tried many different layouts of the show pages themselves, but we are pretty happy with where we landed. Some obvious updates will be that we have the "Acts" integrated into the setlists like Linkin Park used in 2024-15 for The Hunting Party Tour and again in 2024. We are able to put show intros, interludes, etc as their own "thing" on the setlists. Additionally, below the setlist we now have a song chart showing which album the songs in the concert came from. All of the usual features of a show page are there - setlist, show information, show notes, other notes, sources, gallery, etc. We will be uploading the full gallery to the show pages again this year. The pages will be linked from LPLive - NOTHING is changing on LPLive and we are not "rebranding" or moving sites or anything... we are and always will be LPLive but we saw an opportunity to upgrade how we were doing things and we wanted to take it. We are just seeing this as the "next evolution" of the show pages and how we archive Linkin Park shows. A HUGE thank you goes out to @Rasputin 93 for leading, overseeing, and engineering this project. RammWiki is his creation and is simply an incredible site. Many things are still being updated and moved over, as the band comeback happened before we were ready, but we are integrating more features in the coming months during the FROM ZERO era and we encourage people to leave feedback and suggestions! We are working on a good "live landing page" on the wiki to serve as HQ for all things live (with good stats like we used to have on the LPLive homepage, etc)... more on that this year. As always, THANK YOU for the support and a big shout out goes to everyone that has helped us archive information on Linkin Park & all other projects over the years!
  21. LPU early entry info hasn't been sent out yet, probably tomorrow. We'll post about it when it comes in.
  22. Correct! Saw that after we posted the thread, weirdly enough lol
