  1. Yeah there used to be YouTube videos of some of these claiming to be from the show (they were a bad cover band). One was Lying From You hahahaha. I think The Team was LFY.
  2. Yeah, that would be epic as hell. It’s a good song honestly. Has old school LP flavor all over it. From the Joe esque intro to Mike’s awesome old school styling rapping. Some cool guitar work. And if Chester sang the chorus and did the bridge part it would have been sick. Has a scream part that Mark couldn’t quite do so if Chester did it, it would be awesome.
  3. Personally Fuse has always been my favorite one.
  4. Def the 2002 one. The one from the SIB single is great. The 2004 Meteora tour one was cool too. I prefer the Sendai 2006 version over the other piano version from 2008.
  5. Wow, thanks for the info on both. Didn’t even think to check Linkinpedia about the LPJZ one. The DJ Vice thing is interesting, though. So both things are essentially official in some capacity but not released by the actual band. I think I’ll add them to my collection, why not.
  6. Imagine if we got it as Christmas Present. Now that would be epic.
  7. I came across a LP torrent that had a small clip about 2 mins in length of a remix of Enth E Nd by DJ Vice. I am almost positive it is fake as hell, but is it confirmed to be? The torrent also had a clean and dirty version of Points Of Authority/99 Problems/1stp Klosr, apparently from 2005. These have to be fake also right? I know these weren’t released by the band and no where else has info on either.
  8. I just pulled out my DTA CD and in the booklet for TD, it says Amir does the manipulated voices. I think Chester was only on the live version they did a lot in 2006/3007. I don't think Chester actually appears vocally on any studio JK stuff.
  9. Well you’re a prick huh? I already stated originally that I didn’t care that much since it was pre-Chester but I knew it has been a holy grail for many fans over the years. And what have I shit on the LPL staff for releasing? I can’t remember one thing that they posted as an exclusive that I shit on. But hey maybe I’m wrong. HPOATT wasn’t my favorite thing ever but I didn’t get pissed at the staff for releasing it? I remember that I said during that whole time of discovering it that they sounded like video game music but let’s be honest, a lot of the LT and ATS demos and stuff did. Don’t see how that’s shitting on the staff though, that would be more shitting on the band. And even then I enjoy a shit ton of video game music from Sega Genesis from the 90’s so it’s really not even shitting on it.
  10. It will never be released to normal fans trust me.
  11. Yeah if it contained ITE and WY it was definitely 100% fake. And like you said there first show was confirmed to be in November of 1997. I do think that there is probably a recording of a Xero show somewhere out there. Maybe some tapers don’t even know what they have from those days, or maybe fans and yet to discover it. Nobody would have thought a clip of Xero playing live in February 1998 would surface probably and it has been on YouTube since 2014. The HT show recording seems interesting. I bet there are even more recordings of HT shows, for sure, under the same circumstances. As far as the Linus Brook Club thing, some venues do change names over the years. For example, I saw Fort Minor in Boston in February 2006 at ‘’The Avalon Ballroom’’. I even have a newspaper article from the Boston Globe referring to it as such. But now it’s called a House Or Blues and you can’t really find any info on it’s former name, etc. The club also looked different in a big way inside. So it’s possible they could have played at a venue named that but definitely not that early in 1997 and the setlist rumor also gives it away.
  12. Yeah it’s def not new Chester vocals. They are his original vocal tracks from the 90’s. However they did change the pitch a few times that I’ve heard on Hole. But still not new vocals. People are going to think that it was the last thing he recorded before he died and it’s not true. I honestly think the last thing he did were those ‘’5 new songs’’ he said he wrote on Twitter in like late May. Cuz then LP was on tour through June and some of July and Mike said the Watsky meetup was just them meeting him and talking and then Watsky left, they didn’t make music, it was basically just him and Chester hanging out talking about the upcoming tour. So besides those songs he wrote that he probably did vocals for in some capacity, I guess Cross Off would probably be the last song he did vocals for. Vocals for OML were complete in December 2016. But yeah, GD seems to be promoting it almost like it was the last thing Chester did and stuff and it’s not really true. Yeah he wanted to do a show and a reunion but he said the same to DBS about doing shows in LA and getting the band back together, remember that’s what he said to Frank Zummo and Ryan and shit. Plus a few days before he died he was texting Matt Sorum about wanting to do more Kings Of Chaos shows. GD wasn’t exclusive, they are kind of making it seem like it was his number one priority. It’s definitely to sell albums. The press is kind of annoying about it honestly. He also was super excited about the upcoming LP tour and Mike said he was recently talking about future ideas for LP before he died too. So yeah. LP was always his number one priority and honestly, he probably would have done that GD reunion show and that would have been it, trust me. And I’ll get hate for this but I think they ripped the whole ‘’Chester wanted to make rock music again’’ from what Mark Morton said he told him. 100% believe that hahaha. I know Sean and Talinda now say that in February of 2017 he wanted to re-record vocals for this whole CD but I honestly don’t remember ever hearing that, I know he said on Instagram in like March that they were going to being playing a one off reunion show and then they announced it in like June but it’s easy to say ‘’Chester said this and this’’ years after he is gone cuz no one is gonna question that. But like it wasn’t more important to him above everything else, I mean he basically wanted to do the same thing with DBS and KOC right before he died lol
  13. It is crazy that it was on YouTube for years. I bet there is some stuff out there hidden in plain sight right now, too.
  14. You can use THP or OML I think. I think they meant like no remixes or side projects stuff, like Cross Off for example.
  15. Blackbirds also had strings, was shown on the DVD. Was even referred to as the 6th string song back in the day before we knew what the song was.
  16. Is it about money but I hate seeing the pissing match back and forth between Chester's family. Chester's Mom and his half sister or whatever both said that Mike bullied Chester and that the truth will come out. Don't forget that his Mom said that too. And of course all the Sam drama. And Talinda was quiet for a while but idk man. Then you have Chester's old friends like Rene Mata who he was close with before he died saying stuff that I don't even want to post here because everyone here is super pro-Talinda (which is fine but yeah). The battle for rights and royalties and stuff from Sam sucks and it also sucks that stuff has to be approved by Talinda to be released (even though I guess she has been cool, right)? Idk. I mean there is SO MUCH stuff with Chester that is unreleased that we will probably never see. It's not just this remix Grey Daze album and Cross Off. There is so much. Slash sent Talinda Chester's version of Doctor Alibi and said it's up to her to release it. You also have all the unreleased stuff with LP, DBS, STP (probably a little bit), GD (maybe they have some old demos), Julien-K (he did work on some stuff with them early on that surely feature him), all of the collabs like Head Like A Hole and more, and tons of stuff we don't even know about. And I'm not saying we deserve to have it but if she says Chester wanted us to hear everything he worked on... I mean hey. I know that certain circumstances prevent some releases such as Head Like A Hole but I highly doubt his main bands (LP, DBS, Grey Daze, STP) would be against releasing stuff, except for maybe LP. But this family feud stuff sucks. Chester wasn't even that close with his Mother for a very long time (sorry but gonna just say it here). He was super close to his Dad for most of his life and LP life, he used to talk about him all the time, the best one is the STP interview I have where he says every band they have ever toured with always asks him how ''Pops'' is doing and Chester tells a funny story of him and his Dad getting wasted at an Orgy show back in like 2001. He also was on stage for BOW's show at Club Tattoo 2005, etc. He posted too back in like 2010 pics of his Dad and his brother Brian, anyone remember that? I'm just saying, it's funny how when certain family members die and stuff like this happens, I've seen it happen personally. And Sam was shown in the studio with Grey Daze last year (or earlier this year, can't remember), now Talinda is giving them the OK to release it, Chester's Mom is now writing, it's all just weird. And they all state facts that anyone can dig up from interviews. As crazy as Sam is, she did know Chester, especially his life up until like 2005, and some stuff she says makes you wonder. Same for people who Chester was really good friends with up until the end. I'll say one thing, I love how Mike and the rest of LP have remained out of the crossfire through all of it the past few years, very smart on them, they probably think they're all crazy (sorry hate to say it). And Sean too, you have to remember that Chester was pissed at him for years, up until like 2005 probably. And Mace said during an interview that he showed up to a show in NJ and was wasted on pills and Chester wouldn't even talk to him and was mad at him for a long time for embarrassing him. There is just a lot of drama between all of this stuff. Chester once said that the only perfect relationship he has ever had was with LP and the rest of the relationships in his life, whether it be romantic or friends or bands, etc. have been shitty. Kind of think maybe he was telling the truth.
  17. Anything from HT era or prior would have been fine to release before Chester died. When he died, WBR became all nazi and so didn’t Adam who works for them. And now fans are afraid to release it, which really means they just don’t want to give it to other people, it’s an excuse. Meteora era and after is very unlikely to have anything leak in terms of demos or b-sides which is why we only have got stuff from LPU for those. But the HT and prior stuff was actually released in some cases like Rapology and this Rhinestone. What Are You Worth I can understand why the band was mad. Or WBR. Maybe even the Good Goodbye demo. The DBS demos shouldn’t matter since they were from like 2008 and were on a promo CD. And it’s not like Ryan and Amir will ever release any DBS demos from 2005-2008 anyways. If anything they’d give us 2009 stuff which is garbage cuz everyone knows the good DBS stuff was before 2009 before it was changed. The MPC stuff was crazy for us to get and I’m sure Warner wouldn’t like it but it was kept on the down low and it’s still not full songs really. I see no reason as to why they can’t share Rhinestone or at least do it on the down low for the hardcore fans like me and everyone else here who have really wanted to hear this for years. It sucks that the CD surfaces and one person buys it and then nope nobody gets to hear it. Wish someone else bought it cuz I bet it would have been leaked on the down low. Truly a shame.
  18. Where does Tasty Gas Station Breaks From The Orient and the HT demos from Hybrid Party of a Thousand Things go in this timeline? Pre-Chester or after he joined in March of 1999? I'm talking about the actual music not the date which they were released or known.
  19. It’s no where near the same as WAYW. This was on a CD released to the public just like the Rapology stuff and what not. WAWY was something that the band didn’t want out and didn’t release it to the public like this version of Rhinestone. I think LPL just doesn’t want to release it. Why would Warner care? We have so many versions of Rhinestone from all those demo CD’s. I mean really.
  20. Yeah and LP will never approve it. Probably won’t even answer.
  21. Wow pretty fuckin’ epic. Nice find!!!!! Sucks that you guys can’t release Rhinestone from Stairway To Heaven. I know you guys have it but don’t want to share it with fans. It is what it is. But glad the hunt for that is finally over.
  22. Yeah that’s not how it works here in the good ol’ USA. Just one thing in a number of reasons why Europe is so much better than America.
  23. Yeah who knows. Brad went to law school before the band, right? And they are all very smart in terms of legal stuff. So I think if they want to release stuff with Chester they can find a way to do it. Idk though. The whole situation just sucks. I’m not sure how Live stuff works, either. Is it different than studio recordings? There is so many live shows that I want but I know we won’t get them.
  24. Kind of strange though since he married her in 2005. He made A LOT of music before he married her. But I guess that’s how those things work in Hollywood. Not a big fan of Talinda but I didn’t want to post something like JZLP and get attacked for it.
  25. Mark Morton said the same thing about Cross Off, how Chester told him he was excited to be making rock music again. Lol. This might actually be a good release.
