  1. True, but I hardly count that as an LPTV episode, especially considering because it isn't even listed as an LPTV episode on the band's YouTube account. But yeah, it really sucks that we didn't get much for LPTV from THP sessions. True Chainz and Drawbar both came out randomly, like you said RickLPL, it was like in between when the U.S. tour for THP got canceled and Rock In Rio USA. Pretty weird. I would have liked to see LPTV for a lot of the other songs on the album. Just look at how many LPTV episodes we had for ATS and LT. For ATS we had LPTV for The Catalyst, Blackout, When They Come For Me, Waiting For The End, Iridescent and The Messenger (which actually isn't on the official YouTube channel for the band but you can find it on YouTube, it must have accidentally been deleted). For LT we had LPTV episodes for BURN IT DOWN, LIES GREED MISERY, VICTIMIZED, ROADS UNTRAVELED and UNTIL IT BREAKS. It also sucks that we don't have LPTV for the MTM, Meteora and HT tracks, but I don't really care about that since the band didn't do LPTV like they do for recent albums back then. I really was shocked when they didn't give us any for THP, though. I think it's too early to say whether or not we will get LPTV for the new album because they usually start releasing those once the first single comes out and the album is announced, etc. But you could be right about the band wanting to use social media, etc. The problem is, I know that I particularly don't care about all the photos and SnapChat stuff the band posts daily, and it seems like a lot of hardcore fans don't either. I'd rather LPTV for the making of the songs.
  2. Wow, your list is epic. I wish this would happen. LPU9 and LPUXIII are the best LPU releases to me, and mostly because I love how they gave us demos of songs that made the cut. LPU9 was perfect to me. This is a great tracklisting. I wish Mike would read your post and consider this for LPU16.
  3. I basically just realized that we literally only received two episodes for the making of THP through LPTV. True Chainz and Drawbar. For LT and ATS, we had tons of episodes for the making of certain songs on those albums. Any clue why? Has it ever been said now it's been over 2 years since THP came out?
  4. How many official instrumentals are there out there for MTM and ATS? I have the instrumentals for the other 4 albums (HT, M, LT & THP).
  5. I kid you not. In the Making of MTM (Webster Hall Version), they were talking about how they came up with the 18 second scream idea in Given Up. Chester said ''I went past the 30 second mark and Mike said we might have to cut it down into half'' or something like that. I remember him specifically saying he went past 30 seconds and they were laughing about and Mike was saying he can't believe that Chester could do that, etc.. I really wish they had all this stuff in the Making of MTM that came with the album. But yeah, this would be epic to hear, IMO. Out of everything on my list, it's probably the least likely to ever be released, though.
  6. That would be dope. I'd rather have stuff like that instead of rejected songs that didn't make albums, etc. There is so much good shit like that in the vault. A few that come to mind, including this, would be; Papercut (Demo): Would be nice to have on a LPU album, even if we already have a few different version of it now. Somewhere I Belong (Demo): One of the ones with a different chorus, the band said they had 30 different choruses for it. Numb (Demo): Would just be cool to hear, IMO. Given Up (Demo): Wanted this since 2007. The version where Chester kept going after the 18 second scream into 30 seconds. Leave Out All The Rest (Demo): The one heard on the making of MTM with Mike singing the whole song with real lyrics. Shadow Of The Day (Demo): The one with the electric banjo that was used in it that was later scrapped from the song. Hands Held High (Demo): The one Mike talked about in The Making of MTM Webster Hall version, the alternate chorus. Blackout (Demo): The one heard on LPTV with different lyrics from chester about acid rain, etc. Iridescent (Demo): The one talked about in LPTV, the ''piano version'', would be nice to hear to me. The Messenger (Demo): The one with the English pub used as background, show in LPUTV. LOST IN THE ECHO (Demo): The one the band talked about with Rick in the making of Inside LIVING THINGS. SKIN TO BONE (Demo): The original ''hippie folk song'' version that Chester talked about. UNTIL IT BREAKS (Demo): The fourth demo that wasn't released yet, where Chester's part in the song comes from. POWERLESS (Demo): The original version of it that the band talked about. Think what Primo was to I'll Be Gone. Keys To The Kingdom (Demo): The band talked about this many times in 2014 during interviews and such. I want the version with the kid screaming ''The cold doesn't bother me anyway!'' at the end instead of what we got on the album. Although, 99.9% sure this will never be released because Mike said Disney didn't want to let them use the line. But it just sounds fun to me. All For Nothing (Demo): The one that the band originally showed Page in LPTV. With the ''Got my soldiers steppin' to it'' lyric. Guilty All The Same (Demo): The one that Chester said originally inspired the band to make the album heavy upon hearing. War (Demo): The original demo that Chester wrote at his house in 5 mins and brought into the band. He talks about it on the ScuzzTV interview from 2014, he said that Mike asked him if he had an punk songs laying around and Chester wrote it and brought it in the next day. Mike also mentioned that the demo for War originally had the lyric ''1-2-1-2 Fuck you!'' but they changed it to ''1-2-1-2 Thank you!'' for the album. I want to hear it. Final Masquerade (Demo): The one you mentioned with Mike singing the entire song. A Line In The Sand (Demo): Sounded cool in the LPUTV episode for it.
  7. I would be but for some reason I feel like the band won't release any.
  8. I wouldn't mind having that either. I'm surprised actually that Aoki didn't upload it on his YouTube channel. He uploaded ALTNC from his show at The Shrine in 2013 that Mike and Chester joined him for, so I guess I just assumed he would upload DTB as well.
  9. Pretty sweet. This is like the old days back in 2006-2010 where he used to do a ton of Camp Freddy shows and stuff like that. I think STP was a different animal because they wanted him to actually record studio music as well, not just play live shows every once and a while. They wanted him to tour a lot as well, where something like this is just one night around where he lives, etc. It's also not a commitment, like STP was, this is just something he can do for fun whenever he feels like doing it.
  10. I really don't care for whatever they did to the site. They got rid of all the photos from the Meet & Greets and Summits. They got rid of a shit ton of LPUTV. They got rid of all the LPU15 tracks that you can download by becoming a full member, even though the final LPU15 track still hasn't been released and anyone that joins now won't be able to get the full album, which sucks.
  11. I've been a member of this site pretty much since the very beginning and the site has pretty much gone batshit at every main album leak so far, not just ATS. It's my favorite time to be on the forum, so I second what you're saying. B ) Anyways, thank you LPL for being the best fansite of Linkin Park to ever exist, IMO. I know that 98% of the people on this forum dislike or hate me, but it's justified, for sure. I honestly do appreciate literally everything you guys have done for the LP community as a whole more than anything. You guys have released some of the coolest exclusives over the years and also provide so much good information about literally everything the band does, as well as side projects and everything else. I really feel like LPL has shaped the Linkin Park fanbase in general since it's inception or shortly after and that's incredible for a fansite to do, IMO. Mark, Jonas and Dmitry are like the gods of the LP fanbase to me, it was cool that I got to meet those guys over the years even if it wasn't for long. Got to meet Dmitry at Holmdel 2014 and I thought he was really a cool person and I've met Mark and Jonas at several shows over the years. I also like a lot of the LPL members like Astat, Soul, UnpopularOpinionPuffin, Skipees, Wilderness, Jen, JZE, joe_lp, xxHybridXeroxx, LPxDC, Papelbon and so many other members over the years. I think the best fans of the band are right here on LPL. So thank you for the past 10 years and I hope LPL remains on top forever to come.
  12. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7j41ycZgHFI Clip of LP's new track with Blackbear there. Mike singing. Sounds amazing to me. As for the BID leak back in 2012, I remember that perfectly. People called it the ''potato rip''. Haha. Came out a week or so before the single was released, I think.
  13. ''Friendly Fire'' sounds like a cool song. Lol.
  14. Yeah, basically how I feel. Not really feeling the LPU albums the last few years. Seems like they stopped giving us quality demos like Primo and Pretty Birdy and the like. I like demos of songs that made the albums because they are usually good songs and it's cool to see how they evolved into the album versions that we know, etc. Don't care much for songs that didn't make the cut on albums and stuff like that, I hardly ever listen to any of them.
  15. My new top 5 Holy Grails; 1. Making Of MTM Webster Hall Version 2. Xero live recording 3. Bamboozle HQ Recording SBD
  16. I mean, we did get the full 12 HT songs released officially by LP, and the audience recording available for Download 2014 isn't bad at all, I listen to it sometimes. The only thing we had for Brazil 2004 was a poor cell phone rip that was basically unlistenable, IMO. It would be sick to have the pro-shot of Brazil 2004. There are a lot of professional recordings for TV and what not out there that we don't have. Bamboozle 2007 was my first LP show and MTV2 recorded it, but never aired anything from it.
  17. Wow, thanks for uploading that. I don't use Instagram or Snapchat and it seems the band is posting on those a lot lately for this album process. Would be cool if we could make out all of those song titles on that most recent pic.
  18. Legendary: LPU 13, LPU 9, LPU 4 Really Good: LPU X, LPU 11, LPU 6 Good: LPU 12, LPU 8 Tolerable: LPU 15, LPU 5, LPU 2 Worst: LPU 14, LPU 7, LPU 3 I love LPU 13 because we got Holding Company, which was a demo that I always wanted to have. Primo is also epic, possibly one of the best LPU tracks to ever be released. I also love Pretty Birdy, I still listen to it often to this day. I also thought it was cool that they gave us all the different UIB demos, those are pretty bad ass. I love LPU 9 because every track on it is awesome, IMO. I don't love ATL or A-Six surprisingly like a lot of fans do, but it's awesome to have ATL because it was one of the most requested demos at the time that it came out. A-Six would have been better with vocals, IMO. I feel like A-Six is one of those demos that the band took the vocals off of for the LPU release, because we know it had vocals according to Brad, and it seems to primed to not have had them. Stuff like the Faint demo, the Figure.09 demo, Drawing, Drum Song, that shit is so epic to me. LPU 4 was the first LPU CD that I ever owned so it holds a special place in my heart, not to mention that the tracks are fucking amazing to me. Wish and One Step Closer with Jonathan Davis are some of the most epic performances of the band's history, IMO. LPU X had some really good stuff on it. A lot of epic demos from the first 10 years of the band. It wasn't legendary status to me, though, but it's probably the closest to being legendary out of the ones that I didn't include in the legendary section. Oh No is like an early seed of POA and I think that's pretty badass to have, way cooler to me than the POA demo on LPU 12. The only track that annoyed me about LPU X was the WID remix because we already had that, even though the mix was very slightly different on LPU X, I feel like it was a complete waste of track space. LPU 11 was pretty epic. I loved finally getting a HQ version of Esaul that was heard on Frat Party as an easter egg that had the ''aztec moon'' bridge. My favorite track on the CD hands down. But it also had a bunch of other cool shit, such as Slip and Blue. Blue was really interesting to me because it's outro ended up becoming the inspiration for Crawling, which the band ended up winning a Grammy for later on, so that's pretty epic. I also love Bang Three. WID has always been my favorite LP song and that was really special to me that they included the original demo for it. I wish there were vocals but I don't mind as much. I love it. LPU 6 was just epic because we got the live versions of Qwerty and RME in HQ, as well as 2 new MTM era studio tracks after such a long wait. Those 2 tracks are somewhat sub par IMO, but it was still cool. Didn't like how much they changed Qwerty from the live version performed on the CD and ASP was just average to me. Both of those tracks also sounded nothing like anything on MTM so that's also probably why they threw them on there, can't blame them for that. LPU 12 was good but not great, IMO. I was super excited when I originally saw the tracklisting because I'm a huge MTM fan but sadly the MTM demos included weren't that good to me. Homecoming, like A-Six, I'm positive had vocals that were taken off for the LPU release. Would have been much better if it had been released with vocals. The POA and Forgotten demos were a waste of space to me, just like the WID remix on LPU X, even if they had slightly minor changes, they were basically the same as versions we had already. Wasn't a big fan of Debris. It annoyed me how the song had vocals throughout but didn't have any for the 2nd verse. I felt like the band purposely didn't want us to have the final version of Debris. It was heard on the Meeting of ATS and yet was labeled as a MTM demo and was unfinished. I'm positive that they completed the vocals at some point but we got an early version of it on the LPU album. LPU 8 was funny but I still feel a bit cheated by the band for it. I hated it at first but have come to appreciate it over the years, I even got it signed by the band at the Darien Summit a few years ago. Haha. I know the band really wanted to put it out so I can't fault them for doing it. It did piss off a lot of fans, though. I listed LPU 15 as tolerable because I don't really love any of the tracks on it. Originally, I thought it was one of the best LPU releases ever. But over time the tracks haven't grown on me at all and I feel bored listening to them. I know we still have one track to be released but unless it's severely epic, it can't save it from being mediocre to me. Animals and Chance Of Rain were cool but they're really not that great, just average songs to me. I can definitely see why they didn't make the cut for their albums. Not a big fan of Pods at all and I don't know why Mike cut it up into 3 tracks, I feel like it was just to waste track space for some reason, but it's not as useless as the M. Shinoda WID remix on LPU X or POA and Forgotten on LPU 12 to me because it's a song we didn't have before. Basil isn't good to me. I was super hyped for TooLegit and Grudgematch but was let down when I discovered they were just short seeds basically. Hurry and Attached don't do much for me, and neither does Grr. Again, the CD isn't bad because it has a bunch of cool stuff on it to have, but I just don't feel any attachment to any of the tracks like I do on other releases. LPU 5 was hated but I kind of like it just because we didn't have an official release of Live 8 and it was the biggest crowd LP has ever played for to this day. The mix isn't great but I surprisingly listen to it sometimes and enjoy it. LPU 2 had some cool shit like A.06 and Pts. (Crystal Method Remix) but I barely listen to those tracks anymore. High Voltage was the coolest track on the CD, IMO, great performance there. My December didn't need to be on there since we already had it on prior releases, so it was a waste of space to me. My Own Summer should have been included instead, maybe from San Diego 2002 since they released other tracks from that show on different releases. Maybe Chino didn't want them to release it at the time, though, because I remember Mike saying in the LPU 4 notes ''Thanks to Trent for allowing us to use it''. Now, for the last part, the worst. LPU 14 was shitty to me. I hate the CD. I don't mean to offend anyone by it, it's just my opinion on it, so sorry if I offend people who enjoyed it. I just didn't like literally anything on the CD. The BTH demo was kind of cool, but the singing was just too poor for me to enjoy. I did like having the demo lyrics for it, though. But the rest of the tracks were just pure garbage to me. I didn't enjoy any of them. Most were instrumentals and I thought Joe's Beat was lame as hell, like a bad mmm...cookies rip off. Just not a fan of the CD. LPU 7 was probably the worst LPU album of all time, IMO. We literally had DSP's for the entire PR 07 Tour except for like 1 show, Wantagh, which wasn't included on the CD anyways. And to make it even worse, the songs were EDITED. Why?? Just a horrible, horrible CD. I hate it. It sucks too because PR 07 was such an epic tour, the CD however did it no justice. Not even the fact that I was at the Hartford and Syracuse shows of that tour and they were included on the CD can save it. LPU 3, I thought that was just lame since we got LIT that had the entire show on it anyways. Not as bad as LPU 7 but still bad.
  19. Didn't see a thread for this year... What do you hope makes it on to the LPU 16 CD this year? I'm always been a big fan of the band releasing demos of songs that actually made the main albums, such as stuff like Primo, the Faint demo, Fear, Holding Company, Pretty Birdy, you get the idea. I do like having demos in general, even if they are songs that didn't make the cut, but I do prefer having demos of songs that made it. I think it's really cool to see how a song progressed to the final versions that we know and love. LPU 15 interestingly enough didn't have any demos of songs that made the main albums, unless the final track is one. LPU 14 had BTH. I think LPU 9 and LPU 13 were the best for this. Anyways, I'd love to see a Bleed It Out demo. A Shadow Of The Day demo would be cool as well, maybe the version with the electric banjo that they talked about. I'd also love to see more demos of A Thousand Suns songs, it would be epic to get demos of stuff like Waiting For The End, Blackout, The Messenger with the pub chorus, etc.
  20. I'm wondering if this will be a single or album announcement, or an LPL exclusive like past ones.
  21. Haha in the wildest dreams of 98% of the fanbase.
