Yeah I hate the guy who was like ''I'm a massive Linkin Park fan'' in his sarcastic voice and then laughs. -

Sorry, my post was a bit uncalled for. I'm just pissed at bands making fun of my favorite band lately. It was uncalled for , this interview. I still hate Churches. -

Who cares? Who is this band compared to the Grammy winning, over 50 million albums sold band that is Linkin Park? This shouldn't even be in the news section. I don't care what a bunch of hippie indie people think. -
Ahh sorry. Can a Mod move my post? (whoever reads it)

Wasn't sure where to put this because I figured it wasn't important at all but it's a cool little bit of info. Anyone remember the movie ''Eurotrip'' from 2004? I had a sudden urge to watch it the other night for some reason and while I was looking up information on it, I stumbled across this. Michelle Trachtenberg missed out on being cast in Linkin Park’s ‘Numb’ music video due to an actor not remembering his line. “Linkin Park was at our hotel at the time of shooting. They asked me to be in the video. I went to the boys and they said ‘Yeah sounds good, but it’s this one day and we’ve got this amazing French actor. He’s brilliant. He’s only available this one day.’ He was the worst actor I’ve ever worked with my entire life. He couldn’t remember, ‘What would you like to eat?’” Mandel jumps to the actors rescue, “In his defense, it was 300 degrees. We rented a restaurant that had no A/C. The bright side is, he was wonderful in the ‘Numb’ video.” SOURCE: http://veryaware.com/2014/02/the-25-most-fascinating-things-learned-at-eurotrips-10th-anniversary-screening/

I wish we could get some Making Of THP LPTV episodes...

I am just mad that Julien-K never does a tour in the US. The last time I saw them was at Projekt Revolution 2007. I could have seem them last year at SSMF but I wanted to be front row for LP and I had no one to hold my spot for me. I wish they would just do a proper tour in the US, I tried to make it to the 2009 tour but it didn't work out.

Julien-K is a US band, yet they don't tour in their home country. Wtf is wrong with the world?

Xero's first show was in November of 1997 opening for SOAD. But that would be the greatest ''holy grail'' of all if we got that recording, I would literally explode of happiness. As far as the MTM Theater Version, I'm not sure if it was broadcasted outside of the US. The worst part about that is the fact that nobody bothered to record it because at the time nobody knew if it was just going to be the same Making of MTM that came out with the special edition a week later or whatever. Plus a lot of people are afraid to film in theater because of what might happen, however, I'm sure if everyone knew it was going to be that rare and never show again, someone would have filmed it. I don't understand why this particular holy grail is so hard to find. We know Mark Fiore has all that footage and what use is it now in 2014 when the footage dates back to 2006/2007? He could probably give it to us through the LPU library or give it to LPL or something, he probably doesn't know how badly the LP fanbase wants it. I see fans talking about it everywhere, LPU, LPA, LPL, etc.

The Hunting Party debuts at No. 3 on the Billboard Charts

Nothing else matters because Germany is home of the biggest LP fanbase. Adam told me that at the Summit in Camden. -

Linkin Park sold more off of one album (Hybrid Theory) then most of these type of artists will sell in their entire career or lifetime. So who really cares? They're just pop artists who are told how to make their music by big executives so it sells and be played on mainstream radio and commercials, kids shows, etc. It just seems extremely silly to me to compare Linkin Park's music to something like Lana Del Ray. That is like comparing Muse to Britney Spears, it just makes no sense. There are pop charts, rock charts, hip hop charts, electronic charts, etc. -

No, The Hunting Party is a rock album and it debuted at #1 in the rock charts. I don't give a shit about whatever pop artist got #1 overall in the US, because to me, it's stupid to compare that to a rock album. So in my mind I am right and I'm sticking to it. -
The more and more than Mike does vocals live instead of Chester, the less and less I will go to a LP show. Chester is my favorite member of the band and 80% of why I love LP's music is because of Chester. I probably wouldn't even listen to LP anymore if Chester was no longer in the band, no lie. I want to hear Chester at live shows, he is the frontman of the band, etc, I expect to see him up front, etc.

LP still has the #1 album in the ROCK charts. To compare it to shitty pop music isn't fair. Lana Del Ray & Sam Smith are not hard rock artists, so it doesn't really matter. Maroon 5 is technically a rock band, right? It was fair to compare LIVING THINGS to Maroon 5's album a year or so ago because they were both rock albums. -
That sucks...

I just don't see why it was needed to have Page on the song when Mike still sings on the chorus and honestly it can of just sounds like Mike singing. Page does not show his true vocals in the song all that much. Kind of similar to Tom Morello on Drawbar, I don't think they actually needed to have those guests but it's still cool, I guess.

If Elias left Julien-K so he could stop traveling and be with his family, why does it seem like he is literally ALWAYS on tour with all these different bands? I don't understand why he didn't just stay with Julien-K. I miss the old line up with Brandon and Elias in it.

Wow this show is going to be epic. I am jealous of anyone who is going. I hope Chester does Technical Difficulties..

Only drop the excellence that is Given Up if they plan on bringing Keys To The Kingdom in full time. I used to say I would no longer go to LP shows if they dropped Given Up, but Keys could be an exception for that.

No ban, me and Mark talk about LP a lot. I don't think he is that immature that he would ban someone over a difference of opinion on a LP song. Lol.

I'm trying to see if I can find the movie now...
