  1. Good episode. Finally, something new. I feel like the only thing I've heard about LP from in recent months is just the music, no video or pictures, etc.
  2. Wow, even better! Thanks for the heads up man. I will probably buy it tomorrow. I'm more interested in the actual movie then the music at this point, since I assume we will be getting the songs eventually anyways.
  3. Over at LPA, Mike has confirmed that ''no new album is coming''. It was most likely lost in translation, he probably said something about just releasing an album, etc. I still think we will get a Mall soundtrack, maybe available on iTunes and physical, if lucky, but that won't be for a month or so, I bet.
  4. I might purchase a copy off of Amazon FR. I really want to see this movie, it's killing me. I will just watch it with English subtitles, if those are available on the DVD. On Wikipedia it says that the film got a straight to DVD release on June 18th, but there doesn't seem to be a place I can buy the English DVD or the 'American version' etc. Very odd.
  5. I personally think a lot of you guys are looking way to far into this.
  6. If people are so concerned about listening to high quality music why do they even bother with digital files? I would expect those people only listening to their vinyls or purchased CD's on their high quality systems.
  7. I can understand why people admire ATS. I just simply do not understand the hate on LT at all. It's a fucking great album with great song writing and good lyrics. Just because LP went back to writing more normal songs with normal structures, etc, people shit all over it. Honestly though, I feel like ANYTHING the band put out after ATS, people would have shit all over, even THP, just because it simply would have been compared with the almighty ATS. ATS is a good album but god damn, expand your horizons a bit or wake up in reality, this is LINKIN PARK, the same band who wrote In The End, Breaking The Habit, Numb, What I've Done, New Divide, etc, they are a mainstream band who writes pop-rock songs or mainstream hits, it's not gonna be all like ATS was.
  8. I highly doubt it could be new Fort Minor music, or even just solo stuff from Mike in general, but maybe. I think it will just be the Mall OST or something related to Mall, it would make sense.
  9. Ahh.. so it probably was 2012 when they stopped selling them at the merch booth. Thanks!
  10. What year did LP stop selling DSP's at the merch booth? I bought one at the Mansfield 2007 show but that was the only time I ever even asked about it. Was it 2012?
  11. I hate Nickelback immensely. I do not think the singer of Imagine Dragons sounds anything like Nickelback, either. Imagine Dragons are just an average mainstream band to me, they aren't horrible, but they aren't great, either. I still think they should have used Until It's Gone for the movie, but oh well.
  12. You are correct in saying that but I am extremely confident that you can hear the intro to ''Warm Spell'' at the beginning of Inside Living Things. I can't link to it because it's official material, but if you have it, check it out.
  13. I think the ''donna'' song is an unknown song, something that none of us have heard before. Ammosick was created in the MTM sessions but it was later worked on during the ATS sessions as well, so who knows when they arrived at the final version.

    ATS Sucks Live?

Astat said that they rehearsed POWERLESS too and Brad didn't even know how to play the song on guitar. But yeah, I remember Chester saying they were rehearsing I'LL BE GONE and he couldn't wait to play it. He said that at the December 2012 LPU Chat, I believe. It's a shame that none of those songs got played, I think they actually would have been good live songs, and I think that if they did ROADS UNTRAVELED at some point it would have been nice to have a crowd sing-a-long with it.
  15. It's been confirmed in the shoutbox that the donna song is actually Ammosick and the first half of the ''extended closing song'' is actually a demo from the LT sessions. EDIT: It appears that the first song in that track is ''Ammosick'' and the second half of that track is an unknown song.
  16. I actually know a few people in real life who are super anti-Apple. I own an iPhone and I use iTunes but I don't have an Apple computer. I probably would own one if I had the opportunity, I use Dell.
  17. There are 2 totally different songs in that ''extended closing song'' video, clearly. So are you saying that the 2nd song in the video is Ammosick and the first is the unknown song?

    ATS Sucks Live?

I actually prefer the studio version of The Messenger by a lot. I know that literally 95% of the LP fanbase HATES the studio version of The Messenger (which is almost fact because of how many people complain about it), but I love it. Chester's voice is so raw and emotional in the studio version. I enjoy the live version as well, just not as much. The low pitch is pretty nice and soothing, while the studio version has so much raw emotion that I could cry listening to it. And also Mike said that it would be almost impossible for them to play Robot Boy, but he said maybe a stripped down version could work or something. I don't really count the clip of Robot Boy that they have been playing, but I guess someone could count that if they want to.
  19. I couldn't care less about other bands or artists, so ATS may be the the only ''complex'' album I will ever enjoy and I'm ok with that.
  20. You have to listen to vinyl or even CD if you want a better quality than mp3's, FLAC, wav, etc.
  21. We need NO MORE SORROW back.
  22. If you want to buy me the new Harman equipment, you can and then I will be able to enjoy all my music the way that Mike is talking about.
  23. ATS is great, although it is my least favorite album out of the current 6, I consider all LP music to be great.
  24. Agreed. I've said that I loved LIVING THINGS since day one and I can honestly say that is true. It's a great album. It is not their BEST album, but it's definitely great. I've noticed that a lot of LP fans will just agree with whatever the popular opinion is. For example, ATS is often praised as the greatest album of all time and I've seen a lot of people over the years just agree with the ''big'' people in the LP community about that. When it first came out, there were a lot of people who hated it, just like with every LP album. Ironically, when LIVING THINGS first came out, if you read some of the comments on LPL/LPA, you can see tons of people saying that they love it and think it might be the best LP album, etc, but now since the popular opinion is that ''LIVING THINGS sucks'', you see a lot of people agreeing with that. I can honestly say that a lot of people do not like me in the LP community because I will say how I feel about anything and have unpopular opinions about a lot of things. For example, Minutes To Midnight is my favorite album and I consider it LP's best work at this point. How many do you see saying that? How many people do you see saying that they enjoyed DBS a lot and that they love LIVING THINGS?
  25. Wow, great. I love LIVING THINGS. I knew the band appreciated it too.
