A lot of people don't seem to like the studio version but I think it's pretty awesome. I still love the acoustic one from 2005 but I think the studio version kicks ass too.

I think the album will have 3 singles (Crawl Back In, Let Down and Too Late). Tons of punk bands have really short songs, some a lot shorter than Inside Of Me.

I think Too Late might be the best song on the album next to Walking In Circles and In The Darkness to be honest. The chorus that's in the new DBSTV sounds really awesome. I can't wait to hear the album in full...I've calmed down a bit about the leak. If worse comes to worse we will have it in 4 days so I'm not that worried.

Why hasn't it leaked by now? It's not like a new LP album or anything....it's just a side project. We should at least have got like a 6 song sampler or something. FM gave us a Street Team Sampler and We Major before The Rising Tied was released. Julien-K released a 6 song sampler, remixes and b-sides before Death To Analog came out. All we have is Crawl Back In, Fire, My Suffering and Inside Of Me and they aren't the good songs on the album. I think people should be able to buy the full album online early. Why would DBS care? I'll never understand why they chose October 13th for a release date...that's too late. It should have been Summer like Chester said originally, or at least September. They could have already released the album and did a full world tour by now that way Chester can go back to working on the LINKIN PARK ALBUM that the world is fucking waiting for. I don't remember Mike ever being this selfish with Fort Minor, but that's besides the point. They shouldn't have given us 4 songs from the album and tease if the album wasn't going to leak or anything. I think Crawl Back In and Fire would have kept people a lot more patient then uploading My Suffering, Inside Of Me and tons of other clips of random songs and shit. That's how people become uninterested in your band. You show shitty ass clips in low quality 3 minute long videos instead of offering the high quality song to people. BTW: Uploading that RTN demo today re-sparked my love for FM.

Agreed. I would have said the live was fine because I thought the album would have leaked like 5 months ago or some shit. Why are we still waiting when it's coming out the 30th in Japan? It should have leaked months ago. I'm sick of waiting for it. At least Mike gave us a street team sampler and a 19 track mixtape before TRT came out. God damn.

That's because you can tell what the basic idea of the song will sound like by a 30 second clip, especially if it's the chorus since that's the main point of the song.

Agreed. Songs like Give Me Your Name, Condemned, Into You and Walking In Circles could have never possibly worked with LP at all. But I think Fire, CBI, MS and Inside Of Me definitely could have worked with LP. But they are the worst songs on the album anyways so it doesn't bother me. I like that these songs are different. I actually would hate this album if the songs all sounded like LP, but they don't. Condemned alone would be too dark and heavy for any of the members in LP which I find kind of funny.

I've come to the conclusion that the 4 songs we've heard so far (Fire, CBI, MS and IOM), all suck ass compared to other songs on the album. Too Late, Let Down, Condemned, Into You, Walking In Circles and In The Darkness all blow those songs away, and I can tell my just judging off of a 30 second clip for Too Late, Condemned and Into You. I think Condemned might be a little bit too dark for me, and believe me, I am a very dark person and I love dark things so that should be interesting for me when I hear the full song. Into You sounds like it has awesome lyrics and it sounds very powerful. I like what they did with Let Down, the 05 live version is still awesome too. I think the weakest songs on the album are My Suffering and End Of The World...I'm just not really feeling em. I think besides WIC, the best song on the album is probably Into You...it just sounds so amazing.

In the April 2009 'Revolver' magazine they have an interview with Chester and it said after PR08 was done Chester hooked back up with Julien-K and began recording more mellower songs. Here's the quote ''In August 2008, when Linkin Park finished the Projekt Revolution tour, Bennington hooked back up with Shuck and Derakh. When writing new songs, Bennington found himself writing mellower songs that reflect the intervening three years, wherein he curbed his drinking and married ex-Playboy model Talinda Bentley.''

I want to go to the NYC show...I don't know if I'll be able to make it. I'd rather go to NYC over Ulalume because at least we'll get a full set in NYC.

Wow....every song sounds fucking amazing. I'm so excited right now it's insane. I think Condemned sounds heavy as hell which is awesome. Too Late sounds awesome. The only one I'm not really feeling is End Of The World... Yup.

I agree. I love Let Down. Listen to the last second of the video...he goes into an awesome vocal at the end of the song.

So Given Up was originally called 'Fire In The City' and then '21 Stitches' only to be renamed again to Given Up?

I agree, I highly doubt that DBS will sell DSP's for obvious reasons. Epicenter totally is the worst show IMO. I actually did like GU from Epicenter though...I don't really know why. I think the shows that you went to were some awesome shows, especially Stuttgart and Graz. I love ND from Graz.
