  1. Well, I view the lyrics on the album from what Chester went through because he has said that many times so they're either dealing with addiction, love, getting divorced/separation and death. For example, it's obvious to tell that Crawl Back In, My Suffering, Condemned and Walking In Circles could all be about the different emotions you get from being an addict while songs like Give Me Your Name, In The Darkness and Into You are all about love. It's easy to tell that Too Late and Let Down are about divorce and Fire and End Of The World are about death in a sense.
  2. The only ones I had some trouble with were End Of The World and Into You...anybody want to help? The breakdown's in both songs are hard for me to make out.
  3. Yeah...I was hoping for lyrics.
  4. Cool....you can watch Chester jump around on a trampoline half naked and listen to him diss Mr.Hahn and his LP videos. Awesome.
  5. I'm kind of surprised they didn't play Into You, Give Me Your Name or In The Darkness...it kinda sucks but the set is still awesome and is basically like non-stop energy. I can't wait for NYC.
  6. I bought the helping hands shirt...it's pretty cool. I didn't like the first one very much. I hope there are DBS hoodies at the shows...that's what I really want.
  7. The thing with OOA is the fact that the songs are all really good, it's just Benson killed them all and fucked up the whole DBS project that we all have been waiting for since 2005. Every song is written well and they all have great lyrics and melodies, it's just the way he screwed up Chester's vocals on the whole record really ruined it. It's a shame. I have to admit FM is the better one in the end...Chester really should have chosen a producer more carefully.
  8. Yeah...that style suits Ryan but not Chester IMO.
  9. I take back what I said about the studio version sounding awesome...it fails miserably compared to the acoustic 05 version. I really hate what Benson did with some of the vocal parts and I hate the electronic elements to the song. Let Down doesn't even sound emotional like the acoustic version which is why I liked the song in the first place.
  10. It's actually one of the songs that I like better studio than live. See, I absolutely used to love Let Down and Walking In Circles but I think the live versions are 100 times better than the studio versions. I really don't like the studio version of Let Down for some reason. I hate what Benson did with Chester's voice like a lot of the songs on the album and I hate the electronic feel to the song on the album. I think Let Down was better as a simple acoustic song like originally. I also think the 08 Club Tattoo version of My Suffering was a lot better than the newer one. I used to think the newer one was better but now I'm not thinking so. In The Darkness actually doesn't bother me, meaning in the way Benson produced like a lot of the other songs on the album. The thing I hate the most about what Benson did was using the echo and different pitch changes and shit like that during some of the songs such as Fire, Inside Of Me, Let Down, My Suffering, End Of The World and Walking In Circles. I think if Chester let Mike produce or if just Chester and Julien-K did it themselves it would have sounded better. I just hate how Benson fucked with the vocals, the music is fine, just the vocals. Chester has such an amazing voice and it's a shame to see what Benson did with it.
  11. I wonder if they only partially filmed it before...and just started shooting it again. Who knows. Chester's hair looks like Ryan's now.
  12. I love the song but it's not my favorite song on the album. It's one of my favorites however. The lyrics make the song for me, I love how it's dark and not 'dark' in an LP sense.
  13. I voted for In The Darkness...I fell in love with it the first time I heard the live version in July and the studio version is even better. I can't describe what about the song that makes me love it so much, I just do.
  14. I think In The Darkness's chorus is also Our bodies burning Tongues are turning Somehow stopping time What is becoming of my heart and mind In the darkness All that you want from me is all I have to give In the darkness Coming so easily learning how to live
  15. Will there still be a headlining tour? Or is this the whole tour?
  16. Condemned is everything I could have ever wanted from Chester, whether it be LP or DBS. I always wanted an extremely dark song, LP never would have lyrics this dark, and it's also really heavy which is fucking awesome. I love how Chester can go from the vocal style in Condemned and then the vocal style in like Give Me Your Name. Not much singers can do that.
  17. Why does everyone say ''bitter stains'' in My Suffering? It's bloody stains then bitter STINGS. Listen carefully, it even makes a hell of a lot more sense. Think about that line and drugs.
  18. I can't wait to see the setlist...I'm going to the DBS show in NYC and then Ulalume in Maryland so I'd like to know before I go. So excited.
  19. A lot of people hate Condemned...for me it's one of my favorites. I don't really know why...I just love it.
  20. I did Condemned...although a few lines I can't quite make out, so correct me people. V1 Happiness from misery I want it Cut me up and leave me for dead Sacrifice a simple life No return Kiss the weapon Kiss goodbye for good CH Cmon beat me I'm not a man Go on and kill me Condemned V2 Use me as a chemical I'm burning Love me like a suicide Commit Treat me like an animal I like it Put me on my leash again You're bad Suck the soul right out of me I don't need it Happiness from misery CH Cmon beat me I'm not a man Go on and kill me Condemned Condemned Condemned Condemned Condemned
  21. I voted for the BOW live version. I loved that version, especially the screaming Chester did during the solo that he didn't do on the album version.
  22. The biggest thing I got when I first listened to the album was the fact that myself and others were judging it before we heard the whole thing. I was wrong, I admit it. The album is very good, I love it. I know to others it might seem weak but I really enjoy this album and I think I will forever. It will one of those albums you will love for the rest of your life for me. I think a lot of people were turned off by the album because of the 4 songs that were released before it leaked. I'll admit that I'm not a big fan of those tracks compared to almost all of the other songs on the album. I think Fire might in fact be my least favorite for some reason. I used to love it when I first heard it live a few months back but the chorus just sucks on the album version IMO, the vocals aren't great as well as the breakdown. I think people need to listen to this album as a whole before judging it. Anyways, I give the album a 9/10.

    Inside Of Me!

Mike said all his FM energy was going into SOB last year, and now he is saying his FM energy is going into the LP album so who knows.
  24. Such an amazing album. I am literally blown away by it. I have been playing it all day in my car just driving around and I finally just got home for a bit. In The Darkness still remains my favorite, the humming at the beginning is a bit odd but I like it. Into You and Too Late are amazing....every song is just awesome. Condemned is so dark. ''Cut me up and leave me for dead''. And that's only one line. Haha.
  25. Finally...Warner has sent me messages and removed the audio for one of my vids once.
