If you are judging it from that low quality link above, you shouldn't. I think this was the best DBS performance so far, Chester's vocals are spot on.

I agree that it sucks that we didn't get any bonus tracks or a DVD or anything. I also hate jewel cases as well but it's not that big of a deal for me. The artwork in the booklet is cool but perhaps the worst thing about the whole CD is no lyrics. Wth...I might have expected no lyrics in like 1998 but not in late 2009.

I'm watching the Dave Letterman performance tonight and I'm going to the show tomorrow at Gramercy. I can't wait. Anyways, it seems these will be the only DBS shows we'll be getting. Chester said maybe a year from now they would do a tour with a supporting band or something according to the new interview. I'm pretty stoked that I'm going to NYC and Ulalume since I might never get another chance to see DBS.

I love that interview btw. Anyways, I'm so excited for Ulalume. Tomorrow I'm seeing DBS in NYC so I'll be super pumped for Ulalume since it's the last time I'll see Chester until the next LP tour most likely.

Pretty cool interview...especially the part about Fire and stuff. Thanks for sharing. I hope we get 20 Eyes (Studio) someday or even a high quality live version. Chester always talks about 20 Eyes in tons of interviews yet there is no way for the fans to get it...lol. EDIT: I just read the whole thing. I like this interview a lot. Ulalume!!!

True. I totally forgot that they could put 20 Eyes and acoustic stuff on singles. I'm going to Best Buy tomorrow at 10 to buy the album. I wonder if there will be exclusive best buy download content like some albums have. I believe LP did that with MTM and offered some third encore sessions.

The more I look at, not having a DVD isn't that bad because we have tons of DBSTV's and stuff. I did want 20 Eyes studio though a lot...

The Rising Tied had 100% better mixing than Out Of Ashes did though. I fucking hate the mixing on OOA.

Yeah we're definitely not getting anything special with the album. Just the 12 song CD. I think the only bonus thing we'll ever have is Morning After (Album Version). Kind of sucks but oh well. Bring on LPU9 and the next LP album + touring cycle!!!

Yeah but Amir could have meant because they were all exhausted and sleep deprived. Chester has said he quit drinking and drugs numerous times since like late 2006 even. I don't think he would start now, especially since he had a lot of bad things going on in 2004-2005 and now his life is awesome according to him.
