  1. I agree. I still haven't got around to buying a hard copy of the CD yet...I eventually will order it because I have multiple HTEP's and 2.0-9.0 on physical CDs.
  2. I really wish I never signed up for LPUX to be honest. I was one of the very first members, I joined to get Pretend To Be and I I thought it was awesome. I didn't know that after about 5-6 months we would still have no LPU website, no new material, no new merch, no exclusive videos, nothing. I didn't even get a meet and greet and I tried for 4 different shows that I went to. I'm extremely disappointed in the LPU, it was once a great website and I have been a member since 2005.. I miss it.
  3. Is it sad...but it is true. I didn't mean to offend you or anything, I was just saying a lot of people are like that. I donate either way.
  4. I looked and I didn't find any threads for this... So I thought I'd make this thread. What was the first LP show you attended? Mine was Bamboozle 2007... It was an awesome show. The crowd was loud, good setlist. It was the last show they played Runaway at and it was their first full show back since 2004 (Not counting Live 8 or MFR 2005) in the US. It was also Chester's son Tyler's first concert.

    TLTGYA Acoustic

I envy you for being at that performance.
  6. I disagree with you. Mike is not the only talented member of the band. I really hate when fans say that. Yeah Mike is super talented and probably the most creative and talented member, but he is not the ONLY talented member. Each member brings something unique and amazing to the band, that's what makes Linkin Park so awesome. Mike could never sing like Chester, for example. Chester has a very unique, amazing voice, that's loved by many people. Brad is really good at creating LP's sound and always brings interesting ideas to the table. Rob is really good at drums and I don't think anyone else in the band could ever drum like he does...he also basically created TLTGYA which is IMO, one of LP's best songs they have ever written. Joe and Phoenix also contribute a lot, it's just not shown or talked about a lot. Anyways, I don't think it's their confidence or anything either. The band seems confident in everything they have done, from MTM and up. They make the music they want to hear, and hope the fans understand and appreciate it. ATS is living proof of that. The reason the band takes so long to release new music is because they are all perfectionists, they've all said that multiple times. They don't like to release albums if they don't feel like they did their best and it's complete. Same idea goes for random singles and EP's. They're just not that kind of band, and probably never will be.
  7. I chose Not Alone. I've never really been a big fan of instrumentals like Issho Ni, and I love the lyrics in Not Alone. I think the melody is great too.
  8. I agree with you somewhat, and somewhat I disagree, as well. I understand that the song was made for the benefit of the people suffering in Japan and it wasn't made to please fans. But I also think that they should have contributed something worth while. Believe it or not, a lot of people would donate if it were say, a rare LP demo or b-side with complete vocals, or something cool that we for some reason don't have like a studio cover of 20 Eyes by DBS, compared to something like Issho Ni. I personally think Issho Ni is a decent track, but it's nothing great whatsoever...
  9. I disagree..
  10. I think the band should have been fully involved with this instead of just Mike. Mike is only one member of LP and probably my least favorite member of the band besides, so I am a little biased, but still. There should have been some vocals, giving the actual people suffering some hope from their favorite band, like Not Alone.

    TLTGYA Acoustic

I think that's probably the best version... It's the best version I have heard so far and I've looked for this a lot. Thanks for sharing this!
  12. Don't really like it too much...
  13. Today is Chester's b-day. I think there should be a thread for it, there usually is every year.
  14. Didn't notice that until now. I was at Boston...I wish we could have got some more footage! At least we got a like 4 second proshot of BITS with the studio version dubbed over it. LOL.
  15. Can't wait to hear the instrumental. I'll probably donate.
  16. Canberra's was really good. I think the best one I've heard though is from San Jose...they killed it, especially Chester on vocals.
  17. I've been to like 11 LP shows, some were mixed well, some weren't...
  18. I saw the commercial on TV like last week...I was like 'The Catalyst'!!! It might help ATS sell a little bit more, though this movie doesn't look all too great.
  19. Also, add GBC remix of Wretches now.
  20. Good episode, I was at the NYC and Boston shows so it's cool to see some footage from both.
  21. So Chester can't rap backup, but Mike can sing lead on tons of songs. Mike sucks ass compared to anything Chester does vocally.
  22. Definitely should be MSG if they're gonna film for a DVD.
  23. Would do anything for a M&G pass for this show!!!!
  24. Definitely need a M&G pass for this show. :[
