Does anyone know where I can buy a Linkin Park hoodie online, but pre-MTM era? I only have one, it's a black pullover hoodie and it was called the five star hoodie. Again, I don't want one from MTM era or beyond.

Anything that I ever say, you will disagree with. PS: It doesn't make you cool. I can't even post an opinion saying that I liked the 2009 sets without someone getting offended by it. LOL wtf? -

Sorry to bitch again, but I disagree. I thought the 2009 sets were really solid and good. I loved Session as an opener, it's probably one of my favorite, if not my absolute favorite, instrumental by LP. And it flowed into Given Up really well. Plus the band BROUGHT IT in 2009. I didn't go to any 2009 shows, but what from Mark has said, and all the 2009 shows I have listened to, the band had tons of energy and the shows sounded really good. Even though the set was a 'singles setlist', it was kick ass because they all flowed well and it had some awesome tracks like Points and Somewhere I Belong which they don't play anymore, and including DBS for some shows was cool too. Fire and CBI are a few of my fav DBS tracks. -
Yeah, I guess. I mean, I like those songs that they re-worked a lot, I just would think it'd be cool to have the original versions. I love the melody in Blackbirds, I think the different lyrics would be cool.

Well back in early Spring, Mark and Jen, who are both mods of this site, told me someone claimed to have the demo for What I've Done and he released to them these two clips. I will upload the other clip shortly, but it's just the intro, it sounds a tad different. I wasn't sure if this was just a polished remix from someone trying to make it sound like a demo, or if it really is the actual demo. I believe the person that sent these clips wanted money for the full demo...I haven't heard a word on it since. Kind of sucks. Even if this is really a fan remix, I'd still like to have it. WID is one of my favorite LP tracks of all time.

I actually liked Atlanta 2011, I thought it was a pretty good show to be honest.
-
I hate when they do that. Why do they feel the need to re-do the lyrics and everything for MTM demos? Why not just release the MTM demo. LOL. Blackbirds, Pretend To Be and Not Alone were all reworked MTM songs, but if I were to make a MTM CD with b-sides, they wouldn't really be b-sides because they were re-worked in years WAYY later.

I have uploaded it. Check it out before it gets taken down. http://soundcloud.com/hybridsoldier921/w-sample The most interesting is the last few seconds of the clip. Mark sent me this once. Will it ever get released?? I'd LOVE a WID Demo.

Linkin Park Music Video Election - Minutes to Midnight
Geki replied to Sucre06's topic in Everything Linkin Park
Sucks that WID got eliminated, WID was the best music video LP has ever made by far. My vote goes for Leave Out All The Rest. -
Has any recording of the ''Are You Gonna Be My Girl'' cover by LP from Minnesota 2004 ever been released in any sort of quality?? ALSO, what exactly happened when Ivan the urban action figure came out at the Mountain View 2004 show when Chester says thats fucking disgusting and stuff?
-
I hated when Blackbirds was released last year, and a lot of people kept telling me I was wrong that it was from Minutes To Midnight. You can CLEARLY hear the song on the Making Of MTM DVD, and Mike even stated it was from the Minutes To Midnight era. If they finished it up to the point on the DVD (it had vocals and they had people recording strings for it), it must have been one of the tracks that didn't make the final cut, which means it was probably finished, just not chosen for the release.

I don't want to to bitch, but they should have done something special for this show...but whatever, it's fine I guess. I do agree that Requiem is way better as an opener than CFTI is, but it's cool to see a song like CTFI come back since it wasn't played since 2008. I was surprised when they opened with it yesterday in Vegas, too. The Messenger is random, but pretty cool I guess, I'd have preferred Blackout or Wretches or Robot Boy though. -

I think they'll do ATS front to back in Tokyo, but maybe here, I'm not sure. I like the Vegas set too but I hope they play at least a few songs different, a debut of Robot Boy would be really cool, or maybe they will play one old song for the hardcore fans. -
Do you think we will ever see another FM minor record?
Geki replied to RiderSSPU's topic in Side Projects
Don't want to get attacked for saying this, but yeah, he really doesn't, Chester is a better singer obviously. I like Mike as a rapper. -
Cool that CFTI made a comeback. Decent set.
-
That's a fucking insane set list!!!! YEAH!!!! I hope they play this at DeLuna!!!!! WITH YOU AND ROBOT BOY!!!
-
I hope they play stuff like Qwerty and Blackout and some old songs like Figure.09, With You and By Myself. That'd be awesome.

Never knew that Fu lived in Canada.

I was just curious since Orlando was the first webcast show of LP. I was wondering if anyone had ever seen the webcast or saw any pictures from the show online. Thanks for clearing everything up though Astat.
-
The last FM shows were the shows at Summer Sonic 2006...unless you count Mike coming out on SOB's set at PR07 for a few songs a FM show.
-
LOL sorry don't mean to start a flamewar with a mikeshinoda fansite. All I was saying is the show won't effect LP's new album.
-
Chester isn't always a crucial part to the writing process anyways. He has stated many times that Mike and Brad usually write the songs and the arrangements and instrumentation and everything, and Chester helps with lyrics and singing the melodies that Mike has made into actual words. It's ridiculous to think that just because Chester will be playing a show for DBS that this will in any way effect the new LP album. DBS is his solo project, and it's nothing new, Chester TOURED DBS a lot during the whole making of ATS nearly, it's not a big deal. Lol. Secondly, why do people think FM needs to do a show now? DBS played their last show up to this point LAST YEAR. FM hasn't played a song since 2006, and Tak doesn't even talk to Mike or Ryu anymore. Tak is in TONS of FM songs and it'd be weird to play without him, not to mention Mike doesn't want to make FM music anymore because he said he is more focused on LP. Mike is the nucleus of LP. Mike is the most crucial member of LP, LP is more or less 'his baby' than FM is nowadays. Thirdly, I find it funny how people complain that Chester doing a DBS show will delay the new album, but it would be perfectly fine for Mike to do a FM show. If Mike were to randomly start touring FM again, it would delay the album a hell of a lot more than ONE DBS show would.
