  1. I could care less than Fu is replacing Brandon for bass in DBS. Fu is awesome and a really nice guy, I met him in '09. I can't wait for rips of this show if it actually happens to be recorded by someone. Sucks that GMYN isn't going to premiere still... Now would have been a great time to do so. Maybe Mark Fiore will film this for LPTV? 90% chance he won't but that would be really cool since he has filmed DBS before for LPTV. All in all, I'm really happy that DBS is back in action somewhat. I love DBS, I'm a huge fan.
  2. I thought it was on YouTube. It's in the full episode, not the shortened version in the link provided. If you buy it from iTunes, it would be the only way..
  3. I'm not trying to 'brag' or anything, but the band has said something special at pretty much each show I have attended, my first LP show was in 2007. My first show was Bamboozle, and it was the band's first proper show back in the US since 2004. Mike and Chester talked to the crowd about being happy to be back and playing, etc. The unique thing about that show was that it Chester's son Tyler's first concert. The quote was ''Hey man, today is my son Tyler's first fucking concert. He's 1 years old, 1 year old, I should say. He's the shit. Bring him out? You can't boo a fucking baby you bastards. In pure rock and roll fashion, he fell asleep. I waited too long, I waited too long. But thank you guys for sharing this moment with us today.'' I also attended Projekt Revolution three times in 2007, I went to Mansfield, Hartford and Syracuse. Chester and Mike both complimented how amazing of a crowd Mansfield was numerous times throughout the set. At one point, Mike said ''You guys got a little fast for me, people don't usually take it up to that speed. I was just not ready for you. Dude, this crowd is amazing right (Chester)? They're pretty sick. I don't know why I'm surprised by that, but you guys are just fucking killing it tonight''. Chester also went on to say towards the end of the set that he has never heard a crowd sing In The End as loud as we did that night, and Mike also dedicated Bleed It Out to Boston and Brad's hair. At Hartford, Chester told us that we had to make the night special so a picture of the band can be put up in the backstage area. He is the quote. ''You guys, when you walk down the halls in the backstage area, they've got pictures of all these different bands that have played right here, okay? And they don't have any Linkin Park pictures up, okay? They've got a ton of people back there, they got Metallica back there, Celine fucking Dion (Chester), What the fuck, What the FUCK (Chester), Here's what we're gonna do, we can't tell them what to do back there, But what we can do is make tonight so fucking good and so fucking special, that they cannot help but put a Linkin Park picture up in the backstage. And everytime we come back and play here, we will know it's because of you guys''. At the Syracuse show, Chester said ''You know, this may not be the biggest fucking stop on this fucking tour right here, but we've got some seriously passionate Linkin Park fans out here today''. I saw Linkin Park 4 different times in 2008 as well, my first 2008 show was Manchester, NH. Mike told the crowd ''It's good to see so many of you guys turned out tonight that we got people in 360 tonight. We appreciate you guys showing up, selling this place out all the way around''. Then Chester went on to say ''This is a good crowd man. This is exceptional, I like this. Pretty great. You guys are loud, I like that. (Mike). There's always just a little something extra that some crowds have, you know what I mean? They've brought the magic sauce with them tonight. Some of them drank the magic sauce (Mike). Some of the drank the magic sauce, yes.'' My second 2008 show was Edgefest, the band didn't really say anything special except for the fact that we blew the lights out during APFMH. Mike said ''Looks like you guys blew the fucking lights out!''. I then went to two Projekt Revolution shows, Mansfield and Hartford, and the band didn't really say anything special at Mansfield other than it was the first PR08 show and the usual stuff they say. Hartford, they had Chris Cornell's birthday surprise up on stage. Since 2008 I have attended three more LP shows, would have been 5 if two didn't get canceled (Uncasville and Pensacola). I attended the ATS release day show in NYC and in 2011 I saw them in Boston and NYC. The band barely said anything to the crowd at all during these shows, which I thought was weird. NYC 2010 they talked a little bit, but not as much as I would have thought. Chester thanked Best Buy and the crowd for coming during WID (last song of the set) but that was pretty much it. The band said pretty much nothing at Boston, and some things at NYC, most likely because it was broadcasted for television. The point I am trying to make is that the band used to interactive until after the MTM touring cycle pretty much, IMO. The band said nothing pretty much to all the crowds in 2009, and that has carried throughout 2010 and 2011. I think the band just has less fun playing shows since they have been doing it for so long, and they probably get depressed being away from home and their families for so long. Sorry for the long post, I got carried away.
  4. Here you go. The clip I am talking about starts at 12 seconds, I think the person just created some weird intro for the clip in this video, not sure why. Listen to this clip, and then listen to the background music in the LPTV episode I mentioned before. Same exact instrumental. And we know for a fact the song has vocals. EDIT: We should try and get Mike to notice this, and beg him to release the song to the LPU. I bet if LPlive or enough fans tried really hard, we could get this demo...It may be the only completed b-side from Meteora that we have our chances of getting, I think we should all try.
  5. YES. If you watch the making of Meteora DVD, there is a short clip of a demo song that Chester is singing ''thoughts that take away my pride, trapped in places deep inside''. That is the song. It's from Meteora, so I imagine the song was created in either late 2001 or 2002 sometime, possibly may have been worked on up until 2003 even.
  6. You know what pisses me off too? The Meteora demo that everyone wants, the '"Thoughts that take away my pride, trapped in places deep inside'' one, you can hear a longer version of the instrumental to that song in an LPTV episode. Watch episode 3 (Summer Sanitarium Tour) and it starts at 2:20 in the background. If you listen to the clip of the song from the making of Meteora, the instrumental in the background is identical. So obviously this is a full song if even Mark Fiore has it...I wish LP would give us stuff like this...
  7. Forgot about the Team Sleep remix of My December. That would be amazing. LP should let the fans choose what demos/b-sides they want one year for the CD, that would be so badass. For LPU12, I'd choose 1. Pictureboard 2. '"Thoughts That Take Away My Pride'' Song 3. 21 Stitches (Early GU demo) 4. My December (Team Sleep Remix) 5. Blackout (Demo with different lyrics like the LPTV episode) 6. Unreleased Meteora Demo/B-Side 7. Resident Turdface (2006 Demo/Seed) 8. Wretches And Kings (Early Demo Version) 9. Unreleased ATS Demo/B-Side 10. Alaska (2006 Demo/Seed) 11. Unreleased Xero Demo
  8. That was an awesome show, I love the recording of the FM set. Bucket Of Weenies was really funny with the crowd interaction, at the 2006 show Chester was so drunk and it was really funny. He talked so much shit to the crowd. I miss those days.
  9. I have seen LP live 12 times now, and I have to tell you, the 2007/2008 shows I attended were a lot different than the 2010/2011 shows I attended. The band still talked to my crowd at the 2010/2011 shows I attended, but it was subtle, if anything it was the same generic shit such as ''how's it going out there'' or ''put your hands up'' or ''thank you (insert city)''. In 2007/2008 shows that I attended, the band talked to the fans throughout the whole show, saying unique things and making it special, I felt like the band was connecting with me, like you said. Chester and Mike came straight into the crowd a lot (way more than they do now) and Chester would high five EVERYBODY he could in the front row, now he just high fives a few people that are close. I think LP is tired of touring, and probably sick of paying all the old HT/MT songs. My two cents. They also were super interactive prior to 2007 as well, even more so. I was just going with my experiences. I would be happy if LP played a smaller set if it were sacrificed for more crowd interaction, to be honest. I could do without seeing songs like Numb, In The End, Crawling, Iridescent, etc., but I know that's being selfish since a lot of people love hearing those songs live.
  10. Realistically, I don't think Pictureboard has a shot of being released any time soon, if ever. The Team and Explode are fake names. I would LOVE the Take Away My Pride song, though. I am almost positive is a complete demo (with vocals) and it would be awesome if it were on the CD, a lot of fans would love it. I really just want some MTM demos and some really old stuff. I hope there is less instrumentals this time around and not a remix that we already have had for years (like the M Shinoda WID remix).
  11. I was just wondering if any die-hard Chester fans on this forum could help me with finding out certain brands and where I could buy some of the clothes Chester has. Here are what I am looking for: http://lptimes.com/gallery/displayimage.ph...m=358&pos=3 I know the brand is ''Literature Noir'', I have a hoodie like this one but it's not the same. I've been searching for this hoodie for years. http://scm-l3.technorati.com/11/01/31/2595...11-scoggins.jpg http://m.clatl.com/imager/linkin-park-at-p...gallery1-01.jpg I also have been searching for this jacket...he wore it in an LPUTV episode, the referal contest episode from 06, and he wore it at the Atlanta 2011 concert as well... If anyone knows the brand or where to buy this jacket please post.. I know this is a weird thread and probably a waste of space but I really want to get some cool jackets and stuff for Christmas.
  12. Yes...that would be amazing. The clip of WIC from the acoustic set in 2009 was amazing sounding, I would LOVE to have a full version in HQ. What do you guys think the set will be, if there even is a set? Do you think it will just be a few songs? The same set at Vegas 09? Or a full acoustic set? (12 songs).
  13. I want to hear Condemned acoustic. In HQ.

    LPU11 Coming Soon

I understand, I just miss the CD being included. I still bought the physical copy of the LPUX CD, it's only 10 bucks, not too expensive. Can you tell us any information about the tracks on the CD this year? I hope it is demos and b-sides like the last few years.
  15. Did not expect it was for BITS. I love BITS, my favorite track from ATS. I love Europeans.
  16. Geki

    Next PR

Europe is the fucking shit. If I had the transportation and money to go to Europe every summer for the festivals and shows, I would fucking die for it. The US has zero respect for good music and the US NEVER has a good festival. Like ever, except for PR on occasion. Lol. The US likes things like Lil Wayne and Miley Cyrus and Justim Beiber and shit like that, how is that shit even music?

    LPU11 Coming Soon

Obviously people can still rip the videos and download them. I could do it as well if I wanted to, but it would have been nice to have a download feature. Well I live in Massachusetts in the United States and I fucking hate the summits. You know why? Why the fuck have a summit in Chicago? Why not Los Angeles or New York City? I could have went to one in NYC. The summits are not fair because only certain people can make the trip to whatever random ass place they decide to have them. LP always comes to Massachusetts on every US tour but other than that, they don't do anything cool like a summit around here. Also, I would like to add that the 'digital newsletter' the last 2 years is bullshit. I used to love getting my huge LPU package every year (4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0) and then the newsletter coming as well. It was fun for me. Plus some of the posters from the newsletter are badass like the 6.0 one.

    LPU11 Coming Soon

No. I have been a member of the LPU since 2004 and have renewed every year since, and they have completely and utterly destroyed the message board, even the chat room for fuck's sake. I used to LIVE on the LPU every single day growing up. It's a shame the band forgot about their fanclub.

    Fall DSP's

I'm glad I could get Nagoya for you guys.
  20. You want Meteora and MTM b-sides and demos my friend, not ATS.

    LPU11 Coming Soon

LPUX sucks for a few reasons: Why can you download LPTV but not LPUTV? Why was the CD NOT included with the package? I bought the physical CD and the package separately but everyone should have a physical copy of the CD for the membership. And lastly, no forum like from 1-9. Why it was completely destroyed baffles me.
  22. To me, Reanimation has always seemed way ahead of it's time. I love the album, I always have. It has a ton of great remixes and they flow so well together. But I wouldn't compare it with dubstep and electronic shit that is popular today. Reanimation is like old school techno but with an LP touch.
  23. I never want to see a live track or remix on a LPU CD again. Although, I am sure it will happen with LPU 11 or at some point down the road. Why not just give us b-sides and demos and unreleased tracks instead of remixes and live (unless they want to release some old shows and stuff in HQ).
  24. Yes!! Hopefully it's not just Let Down!!! We could finally get a better rip of In The Darkness acoustic, as well as WIC, and CBI, too. If they play a full set, or the set used for the Vegas 09 acoustic show. Can't wait.
  25. Really good remix!!! Can't wait for a super HQ download link from SDC. I already ripped it from YouTube.
