I was at the NYC DBS show... I would love to see an official DVD from it. I really wish they'd release some sort of live material, like an iTunes EP or something to that extent. Get the DBS hype coming along again. Anyways, I agree with what Astat said, what he said is pretty much what I meant in my post. I don't want the new sound to be Chester singing over Julien-K music. I want the album to have an overall 'rock' sound just like OOA, but a little different.

Me too, I would love to have a CD/DVD/iTunes EP from their recent show. Anyways, I would LOVE a new DBS album. It worries me when he says 'something totally different'. I want a rock vibe, what DBS is supposed to be.

Anyone know what bands/artists Chester is talking about in this video? He said some bands will refuse to play before LP. I'm thinking maybe Muse? I know Chester tried to get Muse on PR07 but they declined.

Everytime LP releases the first single for the album, the album comes out like a month or two after. I don't think they'd release the first single and the album 6 months apart.

I don't think the album will be done by Summer 2012. Remember when LP played Summer Sonic in 2006? It took almost another year for the album to come out. LP played a bunch of shows in 2009 and people said ATS was coming out then, but it came out a year later. Pretty awesome that they're finally doing RAR again!!! If they do, maybe a SUMMER US PR!!!

I really love the summer 2004 intro for Don't Stay a lot, I love the Gacela and how it builds up, it gets me really pumped. I love the What I've Done (AMBO Intro) a lot, really amazing. I also liked the OSC (Gunshot intro) from 2007. New Divide (Moscow Intro) was amazing too. I liked that one a lot, I like it better when they did it in Japan though for some reason. I also thought doing Cure For The Itch into Faint this summer was pretty cool. All in all, my favorite is probably the What I've Done (AMBO Intro).

I know some great live performances of Blackout... My favorites are Salt Lake City 2011 Jakarta 2011 San Jose 2011 Canberra 2010 Montreal 2011 I don't know a lot of great live performances of BITS, but the ones I like are Boston 2011 Canberra 2010 Stockholm 2011 Nagoya 2011

For some reason, nobody on LPLIVE has talked about this EP at all. I just listened to it tonight, and I think it's kick ass. I can't wait for We're Here With You, and this EP will tide me over for a bit. It has 4 live in studio tracks (similar to the third encore performances for LP in 2007) and it features Dregs Of The World, Fail With Grace, Someday Soon (Headcleaner Remix) and Maestro (Koma and Bones Remix). Pretty awesome. My favorite is Dregs.

Chester's vocals in Slip seem to be very raw and grungy to me, that was my first interpretation of the track when I first heard it actually. I love it, but I can see how some people may be turned off by it since LP's studio albums are always polished up.

There are tons of Catalyst remixes, but I think those are the only ones released officially.

Yes, it's an iTunes bonus track for Minutes To Midnight. I first stumbled across it on the German iTunes store, and I later found it on Amazon, Spotify, and many other online sites. Google ''Faint (Circuit City Bonus Track) on google and you will see many links. I can't listen to the full track or purchase the full track because people that live in the USA are not allowed.

In European releases, Minutes To Midnight came with a bonus track that is exclusive to Europe. It's called ''Faint (Live Circuit City Bonus Track)''. I have tried to look everywhere online for this track, and I cannot purchase it no matter what, because I live in the USA. If someone could either purchase this track, or already has it and wants to share it, could hook me up, that would be really really cool of you. I don't have much to offer but I can try.

LPLive actually doesn't post much Julien-K news. Even then, LP is writing a new album right now, LP news is very slow. This post is about their new album that is coming out, it's a pretty big deal for JK fans and for JK. It's not like the post is about a Julien-K interview or something not important.
