The quote was from Revolver Magazine 2007, Chester had asked Muse to be a part of PR07 and Muse declined, it says because they had other touring plans, but I think they didn't end up touring the months that PR took place, which is why many people say that Muse didn't want to tour with LP.

I know we are supposed to be patient and have fun doing these puzzles, but now it's just starting to really piss me off. I miss when LP used to release snippets and not do any puzzles, like they did with the MTM songs and the Meteora songs, etc.
-
I don't see a point in even listening to a snippet anymore. Today is April 8th, the single comes out on April 16th. I can wait 8 days. I would have figured a snippet would have leaked by now... The song isn't that ''epic'', most people on this forum have already heard the whole track anyways, just in LQ.

Nope. Once you complete the puzzle or do instant solve or whatever, there is a timer shown in the top right corner of the puzzle. Once the countdown is finished, I assume you can either solve another puzzle, or maybe something else will happen, such as hear an audio clip or something. But once you can solve another puzzle, you can then hear a snippet of the song.
-
From GoldFire over at LPA Okay so I'm a Javascript programmer and just looked through the code. If you want to solve the puzzle automatically, do the following: 1. Click on the LP logo in the bottom left. 2. Enter "SUDO SOLVE()" without the quotes. 3. View the source of the page, search for "sudo", and copy the string of numbers that are to the right of "var sudo =". 4. Paste that number as the password and watch the magic. There you go.
-
Anyone know the glitch yet? You can have the puzzle instantly solved for you, with a timer, it depends on where you live, to when you can start a new puzzle. Mine has 3 hours, in 3 hours, it will be 12 here.
-
Yeah, that one is really bad. I'm surprised he didn't make ''demos'' for the rest of the MTM tracks. The remaining ones should be funny to hear.
-
If the puzzle is too frustrating for anyone, like it is for me, just wait until other people solve it and then you can hear the clips. Lol.
-
So most likely, no snippets for a few days. Kind of sucks.
-
It's a bitch to try and solve! I got a puzzle of a distorted pic of Chester, I think it's him..

What is your favorite Linkin Park track instrumentally?
Geki replied to NickDuffy's topic in Everything Linkin Park
I've been listening a lot lately, and I'm really digging the way ''Don't Stay'' sounds instrumentally. It kicks so much fucking ass. The guitar is crazy, I love the build up from the intro. I also have been digging the instrumental to ''By Myself'' lately too, I love it. -
LOL most of his stuff sounds horrible... I actually kind of like what he did with some songs though, trying to make them sound like rough demos. I think Shifter and Sick both are kind of cool. The MTM ones though, sound nothing like LP and feature no vocals at all which is weird.

I've been listening to the low quality rip a lot lately. It's definitely official, it's the real song. It sounds JUST like Chester and Mike, you have to equalize it a bit, but when you do, you can make out the lyrics. Also, Warner went ape shit and made people take down threads talking about this exact rip. Obviously it's real. Anyways, the track sounds really good, based on the melody alone. I know the lyrics to the chorus, but that's about it. It sounds very much like a MTM song, which makes me extremely happy since I am a die-hard MTM fan. It does sound like a step back from the sound they had with ATS, but it's not a bad thing. You can't judge the record based on this low quality rip, or even the single. Who knows. I'm really digging it though, I can't wait for the HQ version to come out.
-
I can't wait until the actual tracklisting comes out, and then I can compare it to the real tracklisting and wonder why I was interested in such bullshit.

Is there a difference between ''Super Xero'' and ''Super Zero''? Does one not exist?

I've never heard Iridescent from Yokohama... I don't even have that DSP. Anyways, I've found that ''What I've Done'' from Buenos Aires 2010 sounds amazing for some reason. I made a list of what I think are the best performances of the tracks that you haven't chosen performances for yet. Sorry if some of the songs are from the same show, I feel like some of these shows were amazing. Lying From You - Salt Lake City 2011 What I've Done - Buenos Aires 2010 Jornada Del Muerto - Tel Aviv Numb - Helsinki 2011 The Radiance - Madrid 2010 Fallout - New York City 2011 The Catalyst - iTunes Festival Shadow Of The Day - Jakarta 2011 Papercut - Singapore 2011 Crawling - Tel Aviv 2010 Burning In the Skies - Boston 2011 Leave Out All The Rest - Birmingham 2010 Breaking The Habit - Madrid 2010 A Place For My Head - Paris 2010 Cure For The Itch - Los Angeles 2011

I've actually changed my mind about LP lately. I am just NOW beginning to love ATS. Months before the new album comes out. LOL. I think Mike's singing is definitely better on ATS than it is on MTM. You can't really compare though, the only track you can really hear him sing on during MTM is ''In Between'', and the other stuff are demos/b-sides. No Roads Left is amazing, but that's a b-side. Fear and Drum Song are really cool, but again, those are demos. I think the best singing moments on ATS for Mike are the verses in BITS and Iridescent, as well as the ending to Blackout.

LOL I remember that album. I used to work at my local mall back in 2007, and I remember some guy that worked at GameStop (Then EB Games), knew that me and my friend were huge LP fans. He came to the mall one day and was like hey guys, look, I got the album weeks before it comes out! He showed us, and the track listing was a bunch of fake shitty nu-metal songs and some Grey Daze material, just like you said. But yeah, I agree with this. If people are willing to make fake tracks, and fake albums, someone will definitely make a fake review. I also agree with an above post saying that once we hear BID, we will be able to tell if that review has any merit.

This is the track listing so far, according to these articles. Severium Noise Behind The Wall Burn It Down Avengers Of Another Time Lost In The Echo Lightning Strike Namibia Beryllium You Don't See Me Break The Pain If You Die The Breeze Age Of Hope The Dove Always Flies That's 14 tracks, a couple of which, are instrumentals, leaving that to 12 real songs. We all know how much LP likes to have 12 song albums. I highly doubt this information is correct at all, but it's strangely fitting. I think some of the titles may have got translated wrong, though.
-
I translated it with google translate, it's a little choppy. Beryllium ": An apocalyptic atmosphere surrounding the next piece of equipment, electronic sounds very deep, for a track almost entirely instrumental with a few lines you recited by a robotic, very distorted / Toxic, Harmful, noxious, injurious, dangerous / "the rarest disc ends until switching off slowly. "You do not see me": A simple song, with few shades of rap, no electronic sounds, rock pure and simple, with a letter simple and easy to understand "Breake the pain": Another song without too much moonlighting, direct, point relates abstract situations of life, like "Burn it down" "If you die": Ballad who knows how pretty and surely will become a very popular piece by fans, another less complex songs but valuable in other ways. "The Breeze": A great introduction to piano and soaring electric guitar sound then turn to pass through an electronic bridge leading to one of the songs more "powerful" album "Just like the breeze, storm Becomes , over time, as in slow motion "Mike raps to make way for the chorus, full of epic chorus" I was never what lies ahead Warned of I will not run, I take the things from the front "with a melodic edge feinting to be quasi rapper. Great song, surely a future single from the album. "Age of Hope" and a friendly female choirs are hopeful that the outlook INICA "Age of Hope" without doubt the longest song on the Long Play and one of the longest in the band in his career. Very reminiscent of "The Messenger". "The dove always fly": Begin with the end of AOH, powerful riff that contrast with the melodic Chester you begin to shape a song that seems lost, but returns with even more strength thanks to a great performance Shinoda . I don't know, all these articles seem like they are describing ATS! They say the first track is instrumental and it recites one line, just like ''The Requiem''. Then it says Burn It Down has a ''Burn it down, Let it go'' chanting, very similar to Lift Me Up, Let Me Go in ''The Catalyst''. It says Norimba or whatever it's called sounds like the chanting of the savannah with growls, it's tribal music, just like ''When They Come For Me''. It says ''Lightning Strike'' has piercing screams and Mike singing, just like ''Blackout''. This seems really fake to me.
-
Someone should translate that second article. I have high hopes that these articles are fake, but for some reason they are interesting to read for me. Haha. Anyways, I would actually like if there was a song called Lightning Strike that had piercing screams from Chester. I know this is fake, but some of these descriptions sound cool. And about the lyrics to Lost In The Echo, yes they are horrible. They're fake. But LP has had some horrible lyrics before, what about ''what the fuck is wrong with me'' or ''shut up when I'm talking to you'', even ''fuck it are you listening'' or ''go away, you try to take the best of me''. I also don't think the album is 7 tracks, of this is real, it's probably a sampler review, like the 6 track review of ATS.

I think on the new album, Mike will rap a lot, and the singing/screaming will be left to Chester.
