HAHA, I love your audience recording. My first LP show, I have that recording burned to multiple CD's and locked away so I never lose that show. But yeah, I totally forgot about the Mountain View 2004 show. Amazing show...
  2. Because people still think Hybrid Theory is a good album 12 years later, and seem to think that somehow MTM, ATS and LIVING THINGS suck compared to it. I'm not counting Meteora because you mind as well call it an add-on to Hybrid Theory. These same people lack understanding of complex song structures and actually making something creative and unique. These same people want to see an album full of songs that sound just like OSC, ITE and Crawling, with the same kind of lyrics as well. Making a song about the war? Forget it. Making a song about nuclear destruction and the inevitable death of humanity as a whole? No, not as cool as a song about telling your parents to shut up. /Endrant.
  3. Well judging by this review, you obviously are not a fan of LP's direction on MTM and ATS. Do you like all your songs poppy and full of friendly radio structure? Sorry, but there was no need to bash the band that badly. That's what I hate about the LP fanbase, you can't just say you simply don't like the song, you have to say it's a piece of shit and you aren't sure why it's a song, etc. Have some respect for the band at least.
  4. So besides their two studio albums, what are the odd songs? I want to have all JK songs on my computer. But please no remixes or live tracks, I just want the original songs. I think it's This Machine Waking Up Killing Fields Dreamland Everyone Knows The Hunting Fail With Grace Dregs Of The World

Oh. Well in that case, that'd be epic. I'd definitely buy those 3 shows on DVD if they were released. Haha. They should make a huge DVD of DBS/BOW/JK footage (them hanging out in 2005/2006) and a bunch of awesome live footage. I'd pay like 100 bucks for that. They could even add on the DBS show from last year.
  6. Well, Given Up, IMO is one of the best tracks the band has ever recorded. It's full of energy, it's raw, it's in your face, it's heavy, and Chester holds a scream for 18 seconds. That was epic. I remember when the song first came out, everyone loved it. But now everyone has this huge beef with the song. I do agree that In Pieces was a great song though, it had a lot of potential, it would have done well in radio, IMO. Chester even said at one point that he doesn't understand why it never became a single.

LP released Tel Aviv as a DSP in 2010. Also, the DBS show is on YouTube in webcast in quality. Kick The Bass from that JK show was also released.
  8. http://lplive.net/chesterbennington.php My question is about the BOW shows, scroll down a bit on that page to see them. Is that all the shows that BOW ever played, or is that just what the fanbase knows that BOW played? Because if it is, that's only 5 shows because two were canceled and one Chester got removed from the stage, so it wasn't a full set.

If you could choose any 3 shows that were not released in HQ of LP for a download, what shows would you choose? It can also be any LP related show, such as (FM, DBS, BOW, Camp Freddy, etc.) Mine are... MFR 2005 Show - I've always wanted this show in HQ. I love the performance of Frgt10 (epic) and it was a good little LP set and they ended it with the entire Collision Course album. Also epic. Bamboozle 2007 - This was my first LP show, and even though there was a good quality audience recording going around, I'd still love to have it in HQ. Plus, only performance of Runaway on the whole MTM+ATS tour, and it was also Chester's son Tyler's first concert. BOW Albuquerque, NM 2005 Show - Not a LP show, but I would fucking kill to have this show. I'm a huge BOW fan and I have every recording available for the band, which isn't much, only 2 full shows and half a show. This was the show that Chester got kicked off stage and got kicked off the tour because he made a sarcastic comment towards lung cancer and liver disease (it was a Camel Cigarettes Tour).
  10. Wow, that live version really sucks. The FM version is way better, and I don't even really listen to FM at all anymore. Besides, isn't she Skylar Grey or whatever now? She's doing songs with Eminem and shit, so she kind of did well for herself. Just took a while. Although, IMO, it was childish of SOB to pin that whole thing with Machine Shop on Mike. The label didn't like the album, that is not Mike's fault. Mike is busy doing stuff with cough*thebiggestbandintheworld*cough, I don't think he was too focused on why the label didn't like the SOB album.
  11. I voted for APFMH, W&K and In Pieces. I think all of those were really strong, well written songs, and they should have definitely been singles. BTW, some of the songs you listed were singles, they were just radio singles.
  12. I voted for LOST IN THE ECHO, IN MY REMAINS, I'LL BE GONE and POWERLESS, in no particular order. Some of those songs are already being used for promotional uses (Abe Lincoln film, Sportscenter, etc.) and the others just sound like radio singles to me. I could be wrong.
  13. Good video!
  14. Does anyone have a rip of this? Pissed that I missed it.
  15. You guys do realize that the WID (Live) bonus track was included on the BID EP right? You can buy it at Wal-Mart. I've had it for well over a month. Pretty cool, nothing special. Anyways, the CD looks really cool. I can't wait to go buy it the morning it comes out. I still wish there was a DVD, but oh well. Also, why is there a ''Machine Shop'' logo on the CD? Is Machine Shop back now? I'm not gonna listen to the CD quality rip, I'm fine with the rip I have right now. I'm gonna wait until the album comes out to hear it in CD quality.
  16. 01. LET YOU GO 02. THE WORST OF ME 03. BUILDING IT UP 04. SUFFER ALL ALONE 05. RISING SUN (Can't think of anything better than I'LL BE GONE) 06. NOTHING FOR YOU TO SEE 07. I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU 08. WORST KIND OF PAIN 09. DUST TO DUST 10. TIME TO SLEEP 11. TINFOIL (Can't name it, it's instrumental) 12. FUCK YOU SAM Lol.
  17. There really isn't a chorus in UIB... My favorite thing about that song is the fact that it's some demos mashed together. I love the awkwardness of it. Sorry, but I don't agree with that. LP really wanted to change their sound in the harshest way on MTM, and Rick didn't have control over what music LP made. He simply said ''If you are going to continue making the same music as HT and Meteora, I don't want to work with you'' which in unison the band said ''Good, because if you told us to make the same music as HT and Meteora we wouldn't want to work with you either''. LP is responsible for their change in sound on that album. It's the farthest away from the original LP sound than any other LP album to this day, IMO. Chester has that whole ''fuck nu-metal, I hate all nu-metal bands'' attitude during that phase as well. You can't blame Rick. Just like ATS, LP wanted to make that kind of album as well. I don't see how you can blame Rick for this. Anyways, Rick is a fucking legendary, amazing producer. He was definitely what LP needed, if it were not for him and their change in sound, LP would probably not be here today. EDIT: Anyways, I'm going to explain why I do not like ATS very much, once and for all. Firstly, it's not that I hate ATS. I actually kind of like it, but compared to other LP releases, it's definitely my least favorite. I love a couple of tracks from it, BITS and Blackout, but the rest I could really do without LP ever playing again. I don't like how they were originally going to make a concept record and then half way through said they no longer were going to make one, and then towards the end of the ATS cycle they said it was ''somewhat of a concept album''. It seems like a half assed attempt at a concept album to me. I don't like that the song structures are not radio friendly, because IMO, that doesn't work well for LP. I don't think LP are comfortable making ''complex'' music. Watch the documentary, and then watch any other LP making of, including the recent LPTV's. The band seems way more happier during any of those compared to the ATS documentary, where they were kind of at each other's throats at certain points. I also do not like a lot of the lyrics on the album. I personally think the lyrics to The Catalyst fucking suck. The whole ''God bless us everyone'' thing is really cheesy and LP is also not a Christian band, and if they were to become one, I would never listen to LP ever again. Iridescent has some kind of cheesy lyrics, too. I don't like the ''hopefullness'' feel of them. I like my LP lyrics dark. I don't mean shitty Meteora lyric ''dark'', but you get what I mean. That's why I love LT so much, every song has dark lyrics in they're own way. I think the chorus to WTCFM kind of sucks as well, I don't like the vocal style used. I do however love the outro, if they used the outro vocals instead of the chorus vocals, I'd love that song. I really fucking despise WFTE. I always have from the first time I ever heard the song. I can't figure out why I hate it so much, I just really do. A lot. My least favorite LP song, to be honest. I don't like all the interludes and instrumental pieces on ATS either, I can think of a ton of speeches that I'd rather have had LP use. I do however love the Oppenheimer speech, because it was dark, and actually about fucking nuclear destruction in a way, unlike the Savio speech or the MLK speech. I do also love The Requiem, but the rest isn't very good to me. I also think The Messenger belongs on a DBS record on on MTM, not on ATS, it's cool to have that whole electronic and heavy album and then end it with an acoustic track, but it just doesn't work well for LP, IMO. If ATS sounded like I Have Not Begun, Skin To Bone, Until It Breaks, I would FUCKING LOVE THE ALBUM. I don't like the soft singing, ballad type shit they did.
  18. I'll ask him on the HCT this summer but I'm sure it will be answered long before then. BTW, I love the WID (Live) bonus track.
  19. A combination of SIB and Faint back in 2003. I guess SIB did the most. I saw the music video on Fuse back in 2003 and then heard Faint and bought Meteora. It was the first album I ever owned.
  20. Why would LP make a set catering around what Incubus fans want? I don't know anything on the new Incubus album, but I don't mind if they play that entire album live. I'm going to see LP, just like they're mainly going to see Incubus. This is the ''LIVING THINGS World Tour'' so I would imagine they'd play a lot of the album. I don't want to pay money to see shitty songs like Meteora/HT songs live. Ew. That was for 2000-2004.
  21. After hearing the album, I just want them to mix the album songs and the set they used for the Europe summer tour, the goodies from it, like APFMH, With You, Runaway, Blackout, the Medley.
  22. Someone should ask Mike about the speech.
  23. I honestly do not see LP playing UNTIL IT BREAKS live. I can't imagine Brad singing his whole part live on stage every night, and for some reason, it doesn't seem like a ''live'' song to me. I would LOVE to see it played live though, it's one of my favorite songs on the album by far. I wish they would just play the entire album live and then add 10 more single songs from past releases. Kind of like this. 01. LOST IN THE ECHO 02. IN MY REMAINS 03. BURN IT DOWN 04. LIES GREED MISERY 05. I'LL BE GONE 06. CASTLE OF GLASS 07. VICTIMIZED 08. ROADS UNTRAVELED 09. SKIN TO BONE 10. UNTIL IT BREAKS 11. TINFOIL 12. POWERLESS 13. What I've Done 14. Numb 15. Somewhere I Belong 16. Papercut 17. The Catalyst 18. Waiting For The End 19. Crawling 20. Bleed It Out 21. One Step Closer 22. A Place For My Head
  24. Someone on LPA said the speech was in French. Any French fans here that wanna translate?
  25. ''In Triumph And Tragedy''. Watch the making of MTM DVD on YouTube, it's funny as hell, with the face he makes.
