I know it's not going to leak!! I was replying to what he said. Lol.
-
Most likely it won't leak until the 18th or possibly the day before. It's not a long wait, and we have Primo to hold us over the 4 days.
-
Primo sounds so epic... wow. Great fucking demo. I am so pumped now. I have learned not to get excited for LP stuff but this is just awesome. Unreleased demos plus 2 ADDITIONAL tracks from LPU Sessions. Amazing. I can't wait for the 18th.

MTM is the greatest album of all time. No More Sorrow is epic. Who cares if Joe didn't have way too much to do during the songs. He actually did a lot for the other songs on MTM, just a lot of the guitar and drums driven songs, he didn't do as much. But this is obvious. He said in 2003 that 40% of the music or so if scratching. That is less than half of the music. He said the other 60% is him bobbing his head up and down. I'm sure if he had that big of an issue with the direction on MTM, he would have spoken up or called it quits, but obviously he wouldn't. The band wanted to go in that direction, he is part of the band, so I am almost positive he supported it fully.

All those shows/tours would be great to have. So much awesome stuff that is unreleased as far as DSP material goes. Even a lot of shows that we might not be able to have, stuff like Madrid 2010, iTunes 2011, all that was most likely recorded by them, too. Did Pooch or Dylan record the DBS shows in 2009?

I think that site is just assuming what will be on the CD. We have been getting demos since LPU9 and we all know the LPU Sessions track will be on the CD. I think it's possible that it won't be demos, but this is good news if it turns out to be true. Lol.

I hate how Pictureboard is in the BMI repertoire but we have never heard it. It's torture. Lol.
-
But if that were to happen, the set would contain almost all of HT. They'd have to sacrifice a lot of other singles from other main albums, and also risk not adding new songs from the next album into their set.

Wow, interesting. I was under the impression that they were still recording the shows, just not releasing them. Great info. I bet SSMF wasn't recorded for a DSP if the Asia tour wasn't recorded, seeing as how it was right before that tour. I always thought they would record that show for a CD/DVD because it was nostalgic, etc, but they never did it seems. Anyways, I'd love to hear some old DSP's that weren't released. I have DSP's for all LP shows I have been to except for 3. Bamboozle, NYC 2010 and SSMF. I don't expect to get a NYC 2010 DSP or a SSMF DSP, but a Bamboozle DSP would seem reasonable and would be epic. The 2008 Summer tour was also awesome, would love to have a DSP of that. Berlin 2007 and pretty much all the shows before PR2007 were great. Sucks that no one will discuss it with us.

If it leaked, I'm pretty sure we all would have known so and we definitely would have had a tracklisting by now. It's killing me, I just want to know if we are getting demos or Recharged remixes that didn't make the album. Demos will make my happy.

Great news. I will join the LPU again like I have ever since 3.0, I like the benefits and the site is cool, except for the forum. Anyways, I hope we get awesome demos on LPU13, not all remixes. Please...

Funny you mention 21 Stitches, because I asked Mike if he would put it on LPU12 (it was last summer, LPU12 wasn't out yet obv) and he said it would be cool for us to hear. I guess it means that 21 Stitches was different or interesting, compared to the final version, Given Up. Maybe he chose it for LPU13, though I won't hold my breath. Anyways, those demos sound cool to have. We already got a Figure.09 demo, so I don't think they would give us another demo of it. Accident, Sick, Pac Manny would all be amazing, and of coarse hearing the Chester take on No Roads Left would be epic. Cool list.

If there is a IMR remix on LPU13, I wouldn't mind much. I just don't want a CD full of remixes and shit like that. I want some good demos on LPU13 (thoughts that take away my pride mostly). I just want it to be good. I also agree about the demos from LPU9 with scat vocals, etc. I would definitely prefer those over the instrumental demos we have been getting. Some of the instrumental demos we got were cool, but a lot of them just seem overly filler. I would love to see some of the ''heavier'' MTM demos that the band was making before they went the opposite direction for that album, as well as a complete Meteora B-side like the thoughts that take away my pride demo. Pictureboard of coarse I want. Let's pray that LPU13 is good.

This is what's great about opinions. I happened to love LT and Recharged is just as good as Reanimation was.
-
They could just release 10 MTM demos for each year for a long time due to the fact of how many MTM demos and seeds there are.
-
Honestly, I hope we get a 2015 US tour. 2014 seems too soon to me, and I want a full tour, not a half-assed one.
-
Yep, my choice is B, but I hope Choice A is the correct one. I have a gut feeling it will be Choice B.
-
Reject Recharged songs!! LOL.

Mike said today in the FB chat that he doesn't have any plans for a new FM album, but he is open to it. He has been saying exactly that since around 2007. I think Ryu was just hyping people in the Skin To Bone remix.
-
Mike has been acting like this for years now. Lol.

You can't headline Download with shit like Shadow Of The Day, Iridescent, Waiting For The End, etc in the sets. People are there to rock, not cut themselves and go to sleep.
-
I honestly wouldn't want too much of HT taking up a set, but if it's for a special thing like Download where they will be playing the whole album, go for it. I wouldn't want songs like By Myself, Forgotten, Cure For The Itch, Pushing Me Away or Runaway to return to a main set. They weren't singles and it would be unfair to fans of other albums that can't see the non-singles from those albums return. I would love to see Wake, Hands Held High, No More Sorrow, Valentine's Day, In Between, In Pieces and The Little Things all return into the set, but they won't, for example. They shouldn't add Crawling back to the sets because Chester struggles with it. The rest I say keep. I've never been a huge fan of With You either, but they kept that one.

NMS is great because it's just heavy and in your face, and I just love everything about the song. The lyrics actually aren't about Bush at all, as I stated in the interpretations thread. I like it mostly because Chester sings the whole song (like a lot of MTM) and because the guitar and drums are just epic. As for ETR, the lyrics are really amazing to me and I just think it's a great track. I don't like overly complex songs, I like the simple structure LP is known for in writing songs. If wanted to listen to that type of band, I'd listen to Muse. I'm happy LP returned to their old structures with LT.

Maybe if LP makes rock music again, Download will want them back.
