  2. Not to mention that Anything, Anything is originally a song by Dramarama and Grey Daze covered the song, I would hardly call it a ''Grey Daze'' song. Honestly, the BoW version sounds a bit more like the Dramarama version as well, because the Grey Daze version had a different guitar sound to it. The version that BoW performed (at least in 2006) sounded more similar to the Dramarama recording with that guitar. The Lake Forest performance for some reason sounds like the Grey Daze version more.
  3. My tickets for all 3 shows that I am attending came in the mail today. Here is what I am looking at... Mansfield, MA - Row G, Section 5 Holmdel, NJ - Row S Wantagh, NY - PIT
  4. Cancun is beautiful... that is what everyone says. Anyone who sees LP play in Cancun would be ultra lucky.
  5. Anyone attending the show in Wantagh? I have pit for this show, which I couldn't be more happy about. I am going to get to the venue super early and make sure I am on the bar at this show. It's cool that they never had a pit before Hurricane Sandy, but now they made one, and the pit is decent sized too, unlike Mansfield's pit which is super small. Hopefully Rakim will also come out and do GATS with LP at this show too because he is from Long Island.
  6. Is anyone going to this show? I've been to 3 different LP shows in Mansfield and 1 show in Boston. Massachusetts is my home state and the crowd is usually pretty good. I have ''Row G'' tickets for this show.. Not that great.
  7. I will be at this show. Can't wait, I've never been to Holmdel before, I've always wanted to go to a show in Holmdel. I got ''Row S'' tickets, which apparently sucks, but it's all good. I will still have a blast.
  8. Thank Christ.
  9. I like 30STM's new album, but I could care less for any of their other work, and I've listened to all of their albums. I don't even like all of their new album, but about half of it, some of the songs are really good. But I certainly don't like 30STM enough to consider them one of the best bands in rock at the moment and I wouldn't want them involved with something special like the LPU summits, etc.
  10. I heard there was this singer named Chester Bennington from Dead By Sunrise and Stone Temple Pilots, I would like to hear him as a guest on every song. I also heard of this MC/instrumentalist from Fort Minor as well named Mike Shinoda, I'd also like to hear him on every song.
  11. It's kind of irritating me that the album isn't finished yet. I know the band wants to do a less conventional approach this time around, but the album is coming out in June and I feel like the album should be ready at this point, at least the songs. The only thing left to do should be mixing and mastering and then doing promo.
  12. The guests will be Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes & Steve Aoki. LOL.
  13. Honestly, I think maybe the ''guests'' Brad was referring to could have been Steve Aoki or Beck and whoever else they used to have do their live strings and stuff in past albums. We pretty much know that LP and Steve Aoki will be doing a song for TF4 and it will appear on 'Neon Future', which is Steve's upcoming album. It could even be a case of what Owen Pallet did with IBG back on LT. I don't think there will be any more vocal guests, I guess, is what I'm saying. Mike is the primary writer for the band and he knows a lot more than most of the members, so I am going with him on this. Chester was also asked a similar question in a recent interview and he only talked about Rakim, saying it was rare for them to have a guest and no one else could have done it, etc. As for the new song coming out before the album, it could very be the song they are doing with Steve Aoki for TF4 and I'd be fine with that. GATS is enough to hold me over until June, honestly, but if they release another song from the album before it comes out, that'd be awesome too. Honestly, I am super happy that Rakim might be the only guest on the album. I don't want tons of guests on a main LP album, save that stuff for live performances or remixes, etc. Rakim is fine.
  14. What about LOATR on Twilight? Is it different than other versions?
  15. It's funny because The Messenger, Powerless and In My Remains are some of my favorite LP songs. I also love GATS. Chester's voice is perfect, IMO. You can't go wrong with it.
  16. The ''Echelon'' or 30STM being involved in the LPU Summit at all would be completely unacceptable in my book. LPU Summit is for hardcore LP fans only. Also, surprisingly, not all LP fans absolutely adore 30STM like the band seems to think, either.
  17. Mike scrapped all the demos they had written, read the article. They probably started writing for the album (with the new direction) around September of 2013, right after the LT cycle ended in Asia, so it would be, in fact, around 6 months. Even so, I don't buy that. The band claims to be writing all the time, but things can change throughout, etc, once the album cycle for their previous album ends is when they REALLY start writing the next album.
  18. I think this should be in the newswire because both Linkin Park and Mike Shinoda's official twitter accounts posted this interview, plus it's a great insight into the new album.
  19. Can someone rip an mp3 of that?
  20. Going to be an epic album...
  21. I think if there is going to be a collaboration between 30STM and LP, Jared or Shannon will definitely come out during LP's set, similar to what Chris Cornell did with Crawling on PR08 or what SDC did for the intro and BIO on PR08. I could see Jared singing a LP song with Chester or I could also see Shannon doing some cool drum solo or something during BIO.
  22. I had meet and greet in 2007 and I had to miss My Chemical Romance's set for it. I also had meet and greet in 2012 and I had to miss Incubus' set for it. I assume it will follow the trend and if you have a meet and greet, you will miss 30 Seconds To Mars' set or most of it. This is why I love going to multiple shows; because if you do get the meet and greet and have to miss the support acts set, you can still see them at another show. Sucks to have to choose one or the other, but if you're a huge LP fan, the meet and greet is probably best.
  23. Yeah, I think this would be a better option.
  24. I honestly just think it will end up the same way as HCT. AFI will get as long as Mutemath or a little more, 30STM will get the same amount of time as Incubus, and LP will get their usual set time. Makes sense.
  25. LP will play regular set length time.. AFI will get around an hour, 30 Seconds To Mars will get an hour or a little longer.
