It rocks. Just in a different way. It presses you down gently, yet thrusts at you deeply and although your taken slowly it's still pretty hard. As opposed to taking you down the alley and raping you with a rusty bread knife, leaving you crying on the floor, screaming and yelling for your mother.

Just displays some kinda weird stuff on the screen, believe it to be language of martians, finally proof aliens exist, but i still can view the darn video.

Worth it's weight in gold.

But I can just imagine the band locking themselves in a cave somewhere recording this album, not letting anyone hear it and then Mike, Chester and co turn up, stick the CD in and let someone else hear it for the first time and the response is "This is absolute crap, this is the worst day of my life" then walking out of the room. Can you imagine that? lol Gutted.

It took me ages to warm to the catalyst and now I like the song, i listened to it over and over and over to get used to it. But it's weird, when i listen to the album I almost feel like the song doesn't fit too well, it seems the most out of place song on the album!

Now that's rejection!! Imagine slaving over an album for what seems like forever to make it as great as you possibly can and then getting that review the first time you play it to someone.

The album is getting really positive feedback from you guys, I am happy about this. Although there are a few that really hate it (i was really worried i would be one of them), i too, love this album!

Anyone else think requiem/radiance would be an awesome opening to a live show? With that blasting out of the speakers before they take stage? Maybe with a bit of an extended remix of that shizz with Joe coming in and then bursting into an opening song.

Holy mind fuck batman. This is the most bizzare thing i've ever heard, everything the band said about this album being different, was an UNDERSTATEMENT. Crazy little fucks.

Absoutely shockingly bad. How terrible and amateurish doesBurning In The Skies, when they come for me, Robot boy and waiting for the end sound? I've never disliked a single song on any LP album to date, this album is going to change that. Perhaps that is the big change LP are looking for, making crap albums. It disappoints me so much. Because you can take some of the elements of these songs and mix them with new devide type of sound and you have something that is totally epic, totally LP but totally different fresh and new. But then you have this which is completely meh.

Well this question was asked to Mike and Phenoix on the chat they just did with MTV UK on twitter, I asked the question, but some else also asked and the response about if the setlist would be shorter... "i dont know why they would be any shorter" I think we can now close this topic and take the original source comment to mean that the setlist will be shorter compared to 2011 setlists but not any shorter than LP shows in the past.

Shorter compared to what though? He didn't say anything like shorter compared to previous shows, maybe just shorter compared to the set lists that will debut in 2011.

LP seem to be focusing quite heavily on Germany at the moment.

It's entirely possible that a hardcore fan will hate ATS because what made them the "hardcore' fan originally is likely just not present in the new album. You can appreciate what the band are doing and the ethics behind it, but you can't put ethics onto your ipod and rock out to it. The band are purposely trying not to sound like Linkin Park, hardcore fans are hardcore fans because they like Linkin Park over other bands. Now LP has become an other band, your going have to decide all over again. Almost like listening to a new band for the first time. I don't get how people say this album is for hardcore fans, i think it's the hardcore fan base that might be a little bit more split, the casual listener is either going to listen to it or not, either way they won't care too much.

What I really want to know is how similar to the catalyst is this album? is it more of the same kinda thing? Does it have a lot of that really cheap amateur synth line like in the middle of the song (yea the one that ruins the song)!?

Sounds like Pendulum!!?!?!?!?!?!?! NO!!!!! This is very bad. LP are my favourite band, Pendulum are a band that I actually hate. I'd prob get banned if i actually described in words how much i hate pendulum and the fact they get to play so many rock shows when they are a dance act. This review, depresses me greatly.

"The Catalyst" Video Premiere - August 26, looking forward to seeing it. But yes i am a bit worried, I have generally been the one that got pretty pissed of with the haters previously on other stuff the band has done, but have to admit, really struggling with this song.
