  1. Best: BURN IT DOWN. LIES GREED MISERY, CASTLE OF GLASS, VICTIMIZED, POWERLESS, ROADS UNTRAVELLED. Good: IN MY REMAINS Average: I'll BE GONE Worst: Skin to bone, Until it breaks (I think these are possibly the worst two songs LP have ever made. And I don't think LP really do bad songs. So I will wait to see if these grow on me) p.s Tinfoil not listed. I don't see why this is a separate song, it's really the intro to Powerless and could just be part of that.
  2. I am not sure if I should listen or not. I kinda like the idea of having a date when it comes out and boom. But then again in the long run this doesn't matter. If the album is any good i won't really care when i first heard it, just that I want to keep listening to it again. However the link does not work for me. It says that it is not currently available in the U.S store.
  3. You know I am a rock and metal dude. A lot of LP fans like a lot of different types of music. I like ROCK and LP is my favorite band by far. I love a thousand suns, not for any one song but because as an album it is a masterpiece. When i am in a rock bar or rock club I wanna hear the big anthems but at home I perfer to listen to whole albums and as an album A Thousand Suns blends together better than anything i ever heard. I love it. Linkin Park is about infusion of different sounds. I have always liked the idea of electronic sounds mixing in with a rock sound, but i've never liked anything I have heard much by other bands at all. It seems with these snippets my favorite band of all time are finally going to deliver that sound I have been waiting for. Who else right!?
  4. Which is better. The Summer tour in Europe only will feature Burn it down and will be before the new album. It's better to have it after
  5. When you preorder the album in the UK one of the benefits is listed as "Early access to tickets for the upcoming tour in UK." Finally some news on a UK tour!
  6. Do you think they will finally announce a UK show? With the other tour details? They are playing all over Europe. I need a UK show!!!
  7. I can't begin to say how excited I am about this. I really worry about how much this band means to me sometimes and just how crazy excited I am about the possibility of new music. I'm 29 now. I've grown up on LP music. They have been with me my entire adult life. They have been the one consistent thing. They have completely shaped my love of music and I'm hooked. I have so many memories of certain songs and how they relate to different situations and periods of my life. Sometimes it was the darkest of times. I'd put a certain song on and at least feel that I wasn't so alone. It would be a complete release of emotion that I so badly needed and couldn't find in anywhere else. Sometimes it was the recognition in a song of what was happening and how things were falling apart. The music somehow allowed me to let go. To understand the situation and myself better. As i struggled to grow up and understand situations and emotions happening. There were these songs. A Thousand Suns was nothing short of a complete and utter fucking masterpiece. It's like a piece of art. Every time I listen to it. I am still so completely blown away into a thousand pieces of awe. I'm not even ready for this album yet. I am still completely blown away and mindfucked by how good a Thousand Suns actually is. But i truly and utterly can not wait. Whenever there has been bad times in my life, or emotional crap that I struggle to get a grip on. There is Linkin Park. Right now is one of those sucky times. I'm in a period of rebuilding and self destruction. Mostly self destruction. I know it. But I simply can not stop myself. I feel this song is going to be perfect. I would love a more "new divide" kinda sound to the album. That is my favorite LP song ever! This doesn't sound too off that. I hope you all love the song and get something from it! There may not always be a lot in life. But there will always be music and Linkin Park is the greatest form of music that I know. Love you guys. Enjoy.
  8. Yes and he came up and song the Chorus with me right in front of him Chester also came out into the crowd after the set and thanked everyone and I got another high five. Woo!
  9. Mlpus44, your from Hereford!? Me too! Hmm to be honest, Mr Hanh scares me lately, All the band look really clean cut but Joe looks like some kinda fat Mafia member who has been sleeping in a bush for a week! lol
  10. 836 836 836 836 836 836 836 836! LP should of got him on stage and got him singing So happy I was right in front of Chester for The Catalyst and got to sing the Chorus while he was grasping my hand and looking right back at me. It was like whoa! in a non gay kinda way!
  11. Eh whatever. The crowd was going freaking mental. Singing every line to every song without fail and screaming like crazy. I was there. Some other awesome people where there. Everyone else is just a bunch of idiots moaning about it in front of a glowing rectangle.
  12. I was there, just home actually. Great show. I was at the front. Chester came out into the crowd for "The Catalyst" not for breaking the habit like the review on the Download festival site says. Or maybe both but I missed it p.s Chester was all up in my face and I high fived him twice. He has very sweaty palms. lol.
  13. Whoa, five years!? It's crazy to look back on things like this and realize it was so long ago and remember what your life was like back then as to what it is like now. What i have done with the past five years!? Ouch... seems like this just came out about 2 years or so ago. Not Five!
  14. I really wish that 1: The hip hop meledy returns, perhaps a new updated version with maybe a bit of hands held high thrown in. 2: The reanimated version of Crawling returns with the bridge, the bridge is epic. it makes a good closer, even if it's just the closer before an encore or before the final curtain!

    Live Setlists

Are you actually serious!? Jesus christ!! this made me LOL but then now i actually feel quite sad.
  16. The original concept was to film it on a caribbean island having the band members all start out in hammocks drinking Malibu and then chester slowly getting more and more drunk and at the end of the video attempting to dry hump Mike Shindoa before phoenix turns up with a huge ass bass and smacks Chester flying into the ocean with it. Apparently..
  17. It's an interesting concept for a song like that, great video. Not sure it is the best song for that concept but still awesome.
  18. Why would you want Robot boy to be played!? It's a darn interlude! Who cares, we've got enough Hoping for The Blackout live though, wonder if it's planned or not, Chester did say on twitter he was suffering from the air in Buenos Aires and choking in sound check, might make it hard to do that song so maybe why was skipped or maybe just not ready to play yet. Where there any new intro's and outros for new sounds? Any new songs remixed a little bit? to be honest i was expecting them to mix it up quite a lot, but it doesn't seem like they've had a lot of time to figure this out yet. WAs hoping for Points of authroirty too =( And ugh, how does What i've done work as a set closer, i'm hoping it was some kinda extended version to end the show on a bang, or else I'd rather have faint, bleed it out or OSC, those are epic ends to a show, espcially with the extended versions. Apart from that, i look at the set list and i'm thinking, hmm it's all good.
  19. Sorry, i'm an ass lol thanks for the info.
  20. Why does the headline include Kerrang! it's not a kerrang documentary, kerrang are simply reporting that radio one will be airing a special on the RADIO tonight.
  21. i have not watched this yet, in the UK and at work so will try to see if can watch it later, but from reading your comments am already feeling a little disappointed. This was billed as being an indepth bigger look at the process and when it's actually arrived it's only 30 minutes long. However everyone seems to be making there own stories up about what they see, be careful not to do that, you do not know the whole story. Why think they had a horrible time making this album? In kerrang! interview a few weeks ago, they asked why make an album like this? Mike's response, "it's fun". They give no signal whats so ever that it wasn't. This documentry which shows only the smallest pieces of the process seems to focus on the frustrating parts only, which happen in any big creative project.
  22. Haha, here is the ultimate, WTF Listen to the album on itunes and then have it jump to a random LP song straight after and your like whoa! hah.
  23. Am getting the CD on Friday, so all is good.
