  1. Yep, this is what people do, they hype things up in there minds and now with the online world and communities, they spread crazy rumours, all start believing it, create a massive amount of hype and then get angry when the 'teaser' or what was coming doesn't match the hype. They get angry at the thing for doing this, when it was them themselves that created such artificial hype. Same thing happened with the bleed it out video or when the count down hit zero, people created huge exceptions and when they are not met they get angry but a lot of it was created by themselves. The videos were just videos, the countdown was just a countdown. When you add more story than is there, you create problems. Sometimes you might correctly guess what it means and what the future is and it is fun to do so sometimes, but otherwise you end up disappointed. It's sadly a lot of human nature, people make assumptions, often the world doesn't match with those assumptions that causes people great issues or when they create fake expectations they get very angry at the thing, rather than question their own thinking or methods of being. I'm very curious and usually excitable about these things, but I'm trying to keep a level head and not buy into any of these rumours now and just wait until the annoucement and enjoy the ride, rather than fall for speculation right now, else I will just end up disappointed.
  2. That is not unusual though. Adam R worked with Warner. Dead Sara are a Warner band, so Adam has likely done stuff with them. The key would be when Adam started following her.
  3. Damn. Didn't realise this was available. This hits hard. I was in the meet and greet and I had a long chat with Chester about the Manchester bombings at the time when I asked him if he could dedicate One More Light to the victims. It's so surreal. 7 years gone and it feels like just a story I tell myself, but seeing this in video, I can see him in front of me and us having a conversation. I remember that shirt he was wearing all to well and the passion in which he spoke about the subject, he showed me those bees in his ear, this wasn't just a canned speeched, he was deeply affected about it. He spoke about him and Talinda watching it on the news and not being able to sleep that night. RIP Chester.
  4. Albums are always released on Fridays, Singles can be released on various different days and releasing singles on a Thursday is a growing trend.
  5. The irony is, if Adam is back in LP's management full time, part of this might even have been his doing...
  6. Exactly my thoughts. This is the biggest development so far. Adam being back full time and on LP management, not just Warner and looking after LP would mean they needed someone to handle things full time suddenly again, so whatever is going on, it's going to be pretty big, not just a random single release, reissue, other random tribute show etc. This looks to be the real deal. The countdown should have just had that video of Adam waving when it got to zero, maybe with the other LP members...
  7. LPU 8 was amazing though, was the best LPU they did. A perfect example that you cannot do anything interesting without people acting like idiots.
  8. That Symbol is a standard thing for Twenty One Pilots.
  9. I know someone posted previously about hoping it was Izzy Hale, I know it's not going to be her, but she just posted a cover of crawling on her insta that peeps might enjoy seeing. https://www.instagram.com/p/C_OrnG3Og5c/?hl=en
  10. You are right. But 9:05 is clearly something. What it is, that is the thing. But that is the point of these teases, to make it cryptic and you have to guess / keep everyone guessing.
  11. It's not like we didn't get anything. We got September 5th. It's not much, but that is still pretty huge if it's the release of something.
  12. Yes they will. No matter how 'annoying' it is, how many times it counts back and forth or what not, the minute something is actually announced it will be covered by media worldwide, this is just for the smaller fanbase that follow things a little more closely, the amount of people watching the YouTube stream video was in the low thousands, what you are experiencing is the bubble effect and anyone annoyed thinking this is bad marketing is falling for the same trap. The attention will be plenty. Everyone that watched and is annoyed, even if you don't continue to watch, you are still going to come back at some point to see what it was, every single person will, so not a single person complaining has been lost and when the announcement is made it will be covered much wider. Those Marketing experts in this thread claiming it is some form of disaster, please post pictures of your marketing degrees and your resumes showing all your years working in Marketing, thanks.
  13. If you are taking a day of work and getting yourself sick over a count down on a website, I think you have bigger issues, those type of people are going to be upset no matter what happens.
  14. How is this 'tasteless'? This has nothing to do with 'how the band ended'. Standard promo stuff. Come on. Why are people always so angry/bitter/toxic about everything?
  15. According to the YouTube video this new timer is going for 100:31:26 so it's going back up to 100!
  16. Clock countdown was 100 hours. It glitched at 9:05 again on the count down = 5th September. Count back up to 100 hours is - 1st September. Back down to zero again is - 5th September.
  17. I wonder then if it was relevant that it was counting down to a time that was quarter past the hour, that has to be for a reason.
  18. RIP
  19. I meant the LP countdown is counting down to that time, I think that would make it 11:15pst but I could be totally wrong.
  20. The announcement is at an odd time, with it being quarter past the hour. Wonder if any significance to anything, like an announcement live on air or somewhat. Seems odd it's not on the hour.
  21. Personally I was wondering if it was a reference to Xero and if the band are reforming but not with all members, i.e Rob is not in the band anymore, so they have a new singer and at least a new drummer, maybe they don't call themselves LP anymore, but go back to the original name of Xero or something inspired by that, like a fresh start, but going back to the original idea and roots of LP. To me that makes a lot of sense and gets around a lot of the 'issues', having a female singer, makes less comparisons to Chester, renaming the band but keeping a connection to the original allows them to break free but also move forward, less comparisons, less people getting upset at it just being a 'legacy' band cashing in on the LP name etc.
  22. He also said, 'I have no idea what's going on'. So that's clearly Rob, Joe and Mike out. New duo band named BAD (Brad and Dave) has been confirmed.
  23. Damn, Slash is an absoute legend, would love to hear this... although kinda glad it was Lemmy on this as the original. Lemmy (RIP!) and Slash are the true gods of real Rock 'n roll.
  24. Good set, kinda miss Welcome being in the setlist though... thought it might fit with todays show. Dave on guitar was interesting... he looked confused and a little out of place haha..
  25. Wish I could of got something, but the previews weren't very good with no prices and not all items shown, i kinda forgot about it and was at work and then all gone! Although I am only learning and getting into making music, so hopefully the went to a better home anyway!
