Umm...... On August the 2nd, 1939 Albert Einstein and Leó Szilárd write a letter to Franklin D. Roosevelt, urging him to begin the Manhattan project to develop a nuclear weapon. (Direct quote from Wikipedia) Surely this was a Catalyst in developping nuclear weapons (which where hinted at by the thousand suns quote in the last messages?)

I know this is probs nothing and completely wrong, but with Mike saying to not read to much into song names/album titles are we sure these are the titles? A thousand suns = Atomic bomb. The Catalyst = attack on perl Harbour, and the start of a chain of events that set it all off. Which could just mean that the start of it all is August 2nd. Seems the album may have a war theme/concept.

I have a feeling that this album, with it's new sound will somehow make the other three albums seem a little obsolete and once hearing it i will have a lot less intreast in listening to the older stuff. To be fair, i'm listening to some of the recorded older stuff and i already have that feeling, listening to it live still has the same energy as before however.

It's amazing how quickly people decode it, I wonder if people sit on twitter 24/7 to await new messages. But yea, real easy. Just load the image in photoshop and screw around with colours and saturation and you will see it.

Album or single!?

Hmm yea... but i hope the album isn't about some silly mythological situation, prefer it to be about real life, real feelings and things i can relate too. That's why LP has always connected with people and thats why a i like the sound of a lot of older bands, but there music just fails to connect.

So what does this mean? Mike said it would be rewarding.... So we have the answer to the puzzle but so far it doesn't mean anything. Is there more to be done with the answer? or just waiting for the next one? Will we find something if we start looking up things to do with a thousand suns? Is this the name of the album/single or wha? Whats everyones thoughts?

It's amazing that different people can listen to the same thing and take completely different things away. To me this sounds nothing like WID and to me this song means so much, it is really deep. Hmm. I think this song is going to be the perfect one for a not so perfect situation i'm now in with something. Some stuff played out between me and someone over the past week and there was already a small divide between us, but now something happened and there is this 'new divide' and the lyrics seem to fit perfectly. Gotta love LP always doing that.
