It almost seems like LP is trying to phase out their old fans and bring in fans that like MTM

Who wants to bet the new song is like a soundtrack to the game or kinda like the cookies lpu8 songs? I don't see how a serious lp song would be implemented into a video game of that nature. Maybe I'm wrong, I hope I'm wrong.

^ I'd love to hear easier to run/ hit the floor at an lp show. I agree with them needing to throw in a HT/Meteora track they haven't played in awhile every here and there.

I think about 4 similar questions about ATL were asked. He's still not committed to fm, the album may have less songs? Not too pleased with the chat because most of it was just to promote their iphone game.

I have 3 HT's. I wouldn't say it's the 7th "best" album, just the 7th highest selling. Nsnyc, brittany spears, creed, and usher are all garbage.

And yes, yes I would like to have an album every year(or two). I know that's not realistic because of how much they tour, but I would prefer that if at all possible.

grammy lost my respect after not nominiee minutes to midnight to best rock album, instead them they nominiee the s**y foo fighters album

i don't believe in this awards, they nominiee and give for who pay more

? MTM didn't deserve to win any award of any kind. The biggest lp grammy snub was session not winning a grammy when it was nominated in 04.

I just hope they mean it this time when they say it will release this year. I look back to last year when Mike said the album will be out in 09.I trust Mike though, I'm sure the transformers/dbs thing slowed them down.

Well if they finished across the line for us then that's awesome of them to do. I sort of thought it was already finished though because they said in previous interviews they cut 4 finished songs from the album.

Kudos to the cat who wrote they take too long for a 12 track CD to come out and kudos to Mike for a professional answer. The album PROBABLY will be out in 2010, the question is when. Chester has mentioned June the past few months but I don't see that as being realistic. Maybe this time next year - which is a tremendous amount of time away considering they have been in for already a full year as we speak.

 

Also, I like the subtle "Joe has been a little more present." I'm glad MS realizes Joe is an integral part of the band and just was nowhere to be found on MTM for the most part.

That would be me. Props to Mike being nice to me even though my comment was a little rude; sometimes I just feel like we wait forever for lp to release material. My whole intention of that post was to get Mike to recognize we're dying for new music asap!

hey guys , im new here , anyways managed to hear Lpu 9 , my cousin who lives in virginia managed to get it from the best buy and i heard the songs thru her chat , it was extremely awesome and across the line is a crack and faint demo is superb and fear was totally different , i was shocked to see when the A.06 , the 3 min demo version is drastically reduced to .54 secs and was added in lpu cd before , through these underground cd's lots of hidden secrets about Lp are coming out , still in lot in the bag needs to be dug in te upcoming years.

Glad everyone is loving the cd, hopefully the lpu continues to put out cd's like this year after year. Make sure to buy one in stores or maybe two because we all know Warner will not put demos on other lpu cd's if it does not sell well.

Love ATL. I think it explains about the war in the Mideast, soldiers, and medics.

It's a universal topic as well. I think it talks about suicide/drugs as well.

Whoever asked why there's so much in between hate, here's your answer: The song sucks; I'm a Mike fan and still cannot get myself to even remotely like it.

The download is morning after acoustic I believe. But you have to redeem your code when you buy the lpu9 package.

My review in a short statement: LPU9>MTM

Wake is just epic and In Between is very wise and mature. ATL is just meh...

They should have made in between track 1 on MTM, because it starts out by saying let me apologize for what I'm about to say.

Anyways these demos are nice, I like it.
