Ughhhh, dying here. I purchased the monthly membership to upgrade and I cannot stay logged in - it keeps telling me 'Welcome back! Let your friends know you signed in!' after I login - I click any of the links and then I get redirected to 'Membership Required'. So irritated, I want to hear these demos.

I'm surprised that so many of you like Pale and I don't see much mention of Halo. It's not so bad, but I'm absolutely digging Halo (once it gets past 1:20 at least). I guess I'm just tired of all the drumming in the songs, it's getting old. The more I listen to Pale, the more I like it though, it's slowly growing on me.

That was rather disturbing. Mike and Chester both sound horrible in this performance. I'm no fan of Mike's voice by any means, but he sounded better than Chester tonight.

I'm thoroughly disappointed that I was unable to purchase tickets at the time of the LPU pre-sale. I didn't go to work the entire day the pre-sale tickets became available as I figured I had to jump on the opportunity as quick as I could. I waited impatiently at my laptop refreshing my e-mail every 20-30 seconds, waiting for that single e-mail to come through. When it finally came through that afternoon, I hopped onto TicketMaster, excited as ever that I'd be able to see my favorite band this year after thinking I wouldn't have the opportunity since there was no US tour. Unfortunately, I kept getting an error telling me that my code was invalid. I tried over and over again, but of course, it seems that luck wasn't on my side, as usual. I was too busy waiting for an e-mail to read the forum and know that someone had released the code - isn't life a bitch? Must be, because it only gets worse... So, I found out days later that a second batch was going up for sale. I'm thrilled, as I just knew I'd be able to snatch my tickets this time around - I wouldn't miss it for the world. I get my e-mail 30 mins before the pre-sale begins, and I'm ready. At 9:40am on the 27th - I get a phone call from my credit card company - my account has been put on hold due to suspicious activity. Some imbecile purchased quite a few hours of phone sex on my credit card the night before? Thanks a lot idiot. I'm freaking out at this point, as I knew I needed my credit card to buy the show tickets and I'm in full rage with this CSR trying to get my account back open to get my tickets within the next half hour. Of course not - my card number had to be closed out and I needed to be reassigned a new card - could they give me this number? Heck no, I have to wait until I got the card in the mail and activate it to use the account. FML.

OMFG, it's amazing.

Congrats to those that got their tickets. I finally got my e-mail at 3pm (being a current LPU member, not that I preordered LPUX) and then tried for 2 hrs to purchase tickets, and of course, got none. I'm very disappointed.

Let's see how much tickets are first. My husband would be with me, but I could fit 2 more people in the car if they're willing to help out with gas.

Maybe for you. Cheapest I can find is $179 round trip, not to mention cab fare and whatever else. Looks like NYC is only 8.5 hrs from me, so $100 round trip for gas. I might just drive up afterall, who wants to help out with gas and I pick you up on the way? lol

Road trip? If we could get a bunch of people from the south to go together, it may cost us less I want to go pretty bad myself, but I'll be heading to Port Ewen, NY on the 17th for a chinchilla show and it's too bad I'm not going to the area earlier as it would be much much easier and cheaper than having to drive back and forth to NY twice in the same week. But I've gotta find a way to go.

The first time I listened to it, I thought, wtf? Completely not what I was expecting, I was hoping for something more, epic? For some reason though, I just think it's missing quite a few instruments, maybe the guitars. I dunno. Now after listening to it 50+ times, it's kinda growing on me bit by bit, but I'm not going to say that I absolutely dislike it until I hear the entire song.

My favorite Linkin Park live moment was during Projekt Revolution 2008 in Raleigh, NC. I had heard before the show that Chester would be performing a song during Chris Cornell's set. Standing in the pit, I stayed anxious throughout the first few songs until I saw Chester walk over to the right side of the stage. I just knew as soon as Hungerstrike started that Chester was on his way out. My heart fluttered and screamed for joy as he walked out during the second verse of the song. I couldn't even remember the words to the song, I was so excited that my favorite band wasn't far from being on stage. It's like a rush that's better than the fastest roller coaster ride. The dead crowd turned absolutely wild. It was the highlight of the show. Even though the song really had nothing to do with Linkin Park, it's always something that I'll remember. I got to experience this again in Charlotte a few days afterwards, but it will never top that first show.

I think I'm missing something. The studio photos are labeled "Studio Pictures from "Blackbirds" Video". Have I been under a rock somewhere? I don't remember a Blackbirds video. Oh... nvm. Blonde moment there.
