  1. I'd like to add Hands Held High, Valentines Day, and Easier To Run onto that list.
  2. This is kind of a pointless topic. As a band, they are more emotionally balanced and understanding than others. They all know how to work out issues respectively without getting at each other's throats. Their creative drive allows them not to dry out or begin to sound bland. So I think the only thing that would stop them would be health issues. More specifically Chester. I don't know how long he would be able to last. Most singers cannot hit those high notes at an older age, so I don't see songs like Given Up, Crawling, or New Divide being played in the late future. But I suppose only time will tell.
  3. I'm going, but I don't have summit tix. Oh well, i'm still going to the show, so its all good.
  4. That list is the biggest fail in the history of fails. It looks like it was composed by a 3rd grader. Numb at number 2...? It almost makes me angry.
  5. I voted for COG, but LITE is probably my 2nd favorite on the album.
  6. Either way, the samples are going to be leaked online when it comes out. So its great for us
  7. It hasn't been officially confirmed by the band yet, so until then its probably just gonna stay here. EDIT: Mike posted about it on his twitter, so I guess its confirmed.
  8. ATS>HT=MTM=LT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mr. Hahn's butthole>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>H! Vltg3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Meteora
  9. Wow, they're actually using a real set instead of just standing in front of a green/black screen and adding stupid special effects afterwards. I really hope Joe isn't directing it. He hasn't made a decent video since LOATR, IMO.
  10. I don't think this episode should've been called ROADS UNTRAVELED, its kind of misleading. Otherwise, great episode!
  11. The funny part is that C-flat technically doesn't exist. C-flat would just be B.
  12. I listened to ATS in full the other day. I did it just to compare it to LT, and I still like ATS better. Nothing against LT, I think its great, but ATS is still my favorite.
  13. Yea, but the LPTV episodes are free
  14. I really liked his vocals on this track, but I wouldn't want him to have permanent lead parts like Mike. 3 vocalists would just be too much and the balance between the singers would be thrown off. Nothing against Brad, but it would be too much to handle.
  15. I don't know about those because TLTGYA is in a different key and time signature than the rest of the songs, so it probably won't fit in well. The reason why the ballad melody works is because LOATR and Iridescent are in A minor/C maj. So putting them together is relatively easy. SOTD is in B maj, which is one half step down, so transposing that song isn't much of a stretch. Something like: My December/ Valentines Day/ Pretend to Be, would work because they are all in D minor. Or Easier To Run/ Pushing Me Away/ Forgotten might work because they are all in some form of Eb
  16. Those gang vocals sounded really cool while recording Victimized. It's a shame that it wasn't included in the music.
  17. I think BID is the perfect first single for this album because it sounds like it comes from LP. When you first hear the song, you immediately know that its them because of its structure with catchy hooks and melodies. Which IMO is a very important quality for a lead single. I don't think BID is the best song on LT (I actually think its one of the weaker ones), but I think it was the best choice for a lead single.
  18. It doesn't surprise me thats this was going to be a single. It's very radio friendly, catchy and will hopefully chart well. I'm also stoked that COG and LITE were featured on the sticker for the album cover. It almost assures that those two are going to be singles, which I am very excited for.
  19. 1. Papercut 2. One Step Closer 3. With You 4.Points of Authority 5. Crawling 6. Runaway 7. By Myself 8. In The End 9. A Place For My Head 10. Forgotten 11. Cure for the Itch 12. Pushing Me Away
  20. By the way, does anyone else know who is singing at the end of Until it Breaks? It doesn't sound like Mike or Chester. I was thinking that it kind of sounds like Brad, but idk.
  21. I really liked it. Not as dynamic and polarizing as ATS, but still good. Victimized was a little far out there and may have to grow on me. It really was a mashup of everything they've done plus something new. And some of the melodies on this album are definitely some of the best LP has ever written.
  22. Greatest Hits albums are pointless these days. It wouldn't even sell because most people already have all of their hit songs on their computers or iPods. If you wanted a compilation of their biggest hits, you could just make the damn playlist yourself in less than a minute. Back in the day, all people had were CDs, so having a greatest hits album was a convenience for the casual fans.
  23. *SINGLE ALERT* Plus, the only way for good bands like Linkin Park to get recognized these days is for them to have their songs in movies and games like Medal of Honor. The music world is too polluted with Lady Gagas, Justin Biebers, and Katy Perrys. Its harder for many talented artists to get their voices heard.
