The process of making ATS was just as relaxed as this one was. The only problem was that Warner was giving them shit at the end. I'm sure there were moments like that on this record too, but we've only seen just little parts so far. EDIT: Btw, I didn't know that there were acoustic drums mixed in with the electronic ones in BID. Good to see Rob actually had some work to do

Didn't they say somewhere that the only new song that they're adding is Burn It Down?

If anything, the mixing on a Justin Bieber song would be top notch due to his popularity, so in a way thats a good thing.

I enjoyed the pictures and info on the new album, but as other people said before, this article is very poorly written.

I liked it. It's not as groundbreaking or powerful as The Catalyst, but its a good choice as a first single. Classic LP structure in the song btw...

The only thing I hope for is more than 12 songs on the new album.

That's a tough one. It honestly depends on the songs that they are going to be playing. If they have more that feature Mike as the lead, I think they could pull it off without wearing Chester out.

I despise Numb with a passion, but its one of their biggest hits, so I highly doubt they are going to drop it anytime soon. And what would be the point of playing Jornada if they drop WFTE?

I think some people are in denial because they don't like "Living Things" as the title. If Mike was being sarcastic, it would be more apparent. And I doubt he would start a hashtag on a fake title for the album.

My predictions are: HT: One Step Closer, In The End, Crawling (rotated) Papercut (rotated or cut) Meteora: Faint, Numb, Breaking the Habit (rotated) From the Inside (cut) SIB (not making a reappearance) Lying From You(cut or rotated) MTM: What I've Done, Bleed it Out, Given Up, Shadow of the day (rotated), No More Sorrow (cut) LOATR(cut) ATS: The Catalyst, Waiting For The End, Iridescent (rotated) WTCFM(rotated) (everything else cut)

It seems slower than I thought it would be, but it probably has more of a climax later in the song. Either way, it sounds very powerful and melodic. Can't wait for the full version

I have a feeling that this is going to be LP's return to mainstream audiences. Kind of like their "comeback album" in terms of popularity and sales. ATS only went gold in the U.S., and it was not as popular with the casual fans, even though it's songs were deeper, more complex, and better written musically and lyrically.

+1 In all truth, the only thing we can do is wait. Speculating is just going to give us all false hopes and expectations.

IMO, I think Living Things could be a really good album title, not as good as "A Thousand Suns", but it has some potential.
