Amazon Canada is listing the vinyl edition of "LIVING THINGS", to be released on October 30th, for about $48. European release will be on November 23th.

YES!!! Just listened to the ATS vinyl a couple days ago and absolutely love it. So glad they decided to release LT on wax as well, but hopefully the price goes down.

Goddamnit, the art's probably going to be way better overall for the vinyl edition. There's no way in hell I'm throwing down 50 bucks for a medium I can't even play, though.

considering I already forked out an f--- ton for something on Vinyl that I will never be able to get on a CD (MCR's Conventioanl Weapons) I'm going to just be happy with LP's CD quality for now.

 

I love the way everyone's working out exchange rates too, no matter what country you're from, LP = £££££££

 

I would only buy it for the alternative artwork, which is probably not worth the price tag

Just out of curiosity, anyone know of any good record players? Something that sounds good and won't scratch up the LP.

There are laser vinyl players for like 8,000 dollars upwards, they won't scratch it, lol.

Same idea I had. Great cover, but I don't think I'll be buying the vinyl. I only have a Reanimation vinyl.

Those 3 "sources" all make mention of the record being pressed on WHITE vinyl! Still haven't found out if it will be 180gram, but it looks like it'll be a single record. Can't wait to own this!!!

It would be pretty dumb to up the cost by making this a 2LP release, so it's good that it appears to be a single vinyl. That's a little less than 18 minutes per side, should preserve the audio range just fine.
