DecanoLP Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 (edited) They should have put the interviews between the songs. Pretty good and interesting to watch though. Thanks I really enjoyed hearing Chester talking about concerts and emotions during Numb. Edited October 15, 2010 by DecanoLP Quote

annare Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Very interesting to watch, I really enjoyed it. There are many things to talk about, so I'll go with this so we can have a little discussion. Mike says that when they were doing Hybrid Theory, they were very excited because they felt like they were doing something new, wich is the same thing they are doing now, trying to creating new things because that's what makes them happy. That's why they are proud of every single album they've made. The fact that they have changed in a way their sound doesn't mean that they have to stick with it or always try to create, they just do what makes them enjoy. Then, Mike says that making the music they used to do is not what excites them right now, but it doesn't mean it won't excite them again. Maybe they'll find happiness someday in going back and revisiting stuff. Do you think that is a possibility? Quote
luki9875 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 i wish they had a version without all the interviews.... but still it was a nice and interesting watch Quote
MONDREUS240 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 That was a cool vid. But I agree that sometimes the interviews were annoying over the footage. Quote
Dexter Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Mike says that when they were doing Hybrid Theory, they were very excited because they felt like they were doing something new, wich is the same thing they are doing now, trying to creating new things because that's what makes them happy. I highly doubt that. Mike specifically has said numerous times that doing "HT-like music" with that basic formula is no longer interesting nor hard for them, that's why their aim is to try and explore a broader amount of sounds and noises. sublimeric Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Better than Meeting of a Thousand Suns. This! Just wished they would have seperated the interviews from the (excellent) performances and put this out as the bonus DVD. Quote
