RogueSoul
Linkin Park's run of pre-tour promo appearances continues (or starts, I guess) on November 2, 2024 with an appearance in London, England for the League Of Legends Worlds 2024 Opening Ceremony at The O2! Linkin Park will be part of the opening ceremony for this year's world championship playoffs - and given that the single 'Heavy Is The Crown' is the Worlds theme song this year, it's no real mystery what they'll be playing here. In fact, the official page for League Of Legends Esports lists all the performances out ahead of time, so there's very little to leave to the imagination when it comes to the music at this. The lineup includes Ashnikko with 'Paint The Town Blue,' Mars Atlas of Forts and Tiffany Aris with 'Still Here,' and of course Linkin Park with 'Heavy Is The Crown.' We're not quite sure if this is the exact sequence the ceremony will go through, but we know Linkin Park will bring the music to a huge finale with 'Heavy Is The Crown.' Being that this is an Esports event, you can be very certain that there will be a wide array of very accessible ways to watch this all go down. The image above includes all the info you need - the livestream will start at 7am PST / 2pm GMT and will be streamed live on lolesports.com. We'll be watching along with the rest of you, so stay tuned with us and send us your reactions to the event! The production is bound to be insane for this one. After this show, the band head to Paris, France to kick off the second batch of tour dates this year with a massive arena show at the Paris La Défense Arena on November 3. The band have been rehearsing all of October for these upcoming shows, so who knows what's in store for us! Be sure to follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) for coverage on all the madness coming up in the next few weeks! bloodbath
I'm up for any kind of pro shot release, so even it's just one song I'll take it

Hopefully we get a live album from this era with some kind of video release. Still can't believe a song that has this much Mike singing is this big and played this prominently consistently, I remember when him having vocal moments like this was limited to stuff like The Catalyst bridge
Sukotto
Wonder if they’ll use the score version as an extended intro.

maxstar
Awesome performance and strong presentation for cybersport teams. Crowd seems to be enough entertained
KeysToTheLinkinPark
Fire Performance. Pyro fits the song tbh and they should think about putting that intro into their live shows.
LPLStaff
Nicely done. Need that new intro to stay in the set.
vinifeijo
Don't you guys feel Emily too shy, like she's restraining herself performance-wise. Not much facial expressions, not moving around. In Dead Sara her stage presence was insane. Was she nervous, maybe? Or this was briefed for this presentation, as not trying to take the spotlight from the event itself.

Also the scream was quite shorter even though they only performed one song.
juancpin
Her scream with the trophy ascending was all I asked for. I thinks it’s cool, she can’t go crazy or anything.
LPLStaff
Emily is brand new, they have done what, 6 major performances so far? Give her like 50-100 shows, give her some years of experience. They are brand new to performing together - in front of a crowd is totally different than closed door rehearsals with the band and crew. She will grow into it.

I would think as time goes on she’ll get more comfortable with performances like these.
PizzaPino
Another theory I have is that she’s new and doesn’t want to be more in the spotlight than the other members. She just joined and doesn’t want others to think that it’s „her“ band.

Or this was briefed for this presentation, as not trying to take the spotlight from the event itself. I think that because it’s a slightly more formal presentation, she needs to behave. Likewise, I think it might be a mix of her still trying to understand her own role in the band, and maybe even an intentional choice so that it doesn’t seem like she’s trying to stand out from the rest of the band, especially since Linkin Park has never been a band with members doing such wild things on stage. 42 minutes ago, aaaaaaA said: Maybe she's on her period. 😉 Completely disrespectful of you. javignacio
it was a presentation for the finals of a very popular game. it was not a linkin park show, it was a LoL show. And I think her performance was good, her voice was amazing

You know it's extremely rude to say that.

I think that my statement was more likely to be the real cause of Emily's "underperformance", than your facts. In my culture is not rude to point out natural causes, like it may be in your culture.
