Continuing the trend of festivals streaming Linkin Park material, Summer Sonic has announced a stream this weekend and Linkin Park is included. It says that selections from the 2013 set by LP will be aired. A few songs were broadcasted from this show, but you never know - something we don't have might be included. It's always great to see LP, too. Check the YouTube video below for the full schedule. There will also be a 40 minute WOWOW TV broadcast from Summer Sonic 2013 later this month of Linkin Park too. hahninator Posted June 19, 2020 Share Posted June 19, 2020 Since it's 2020, is there a way that anyone knows of where I can pay $ to get a WOWOW stream here in the USA somehow? Or get it on my TV? Surely there's some possibility to do this. I'm looking forward to this stream because we don't have some of these songs that even already aired. I hope they show Castle of Glass, but if they show whatever has already aired, at least we will get an upgrade because we are 1) missing songs, and 2) in a spot where we don't have all of the stuff as one source. In 2013, Metallica and Muse had been decided as the headlining acts (on alternate days). LP actually requested to perform in 2013, even though they'd be 'under' Metallica, rather than perform in 2014 as had been planned. This was really surprising that the band was okay with it, but that's how we ended up with a 'double headliner'. Their performance was absolutely amazing and the audience was so into it. Actually, after this performance in 2013, they never ended up returning to perform in Japan... due to the passing of Chester in 2017. So that makes this video even more special and important. A particular memory I (Sascha) have is, by 2013 Chester had gotten married. At the end the performance, there were fireworks and Chester's wife came to the side of the stage to wait for the guys. While watching the fireworks, Chester and his wife kissed. The scene was like a beautiful picture!
