hahninator Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Our resident expert on releases, martinez, has brought it to our attention that Linkin Park will be releasing a Minutes to Midnight picture vinyl on September 29th. The tracklisting for the vinyl features No Roads Left. The vinyl has appeared as a preorder on both Amazon ($24.98) and eBay, with the barcode 0093624912118, which if you Google shows you that this specific barcode was originally going to be a One More Light vinyl release. Some sites show a release date for September for that OML vinyl, but it appears to now be full steam ahead on Minutes to Midnight instead. We are anticipating an announcement or confirmation from Linkin Park on the upcoming release. Quote
Jesper Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 M2M is the only LP album I don't have on vinyl, so I am def. getting this. Quote
FLAME-XIII Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Picture vinyl is good for being in the collection, but not for listening, coz usually picture vinyl sounds terrible Quote
rd1994 Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I already have this album on vinyl. Sounds like a cool idea though Quote
Geki Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Already own on vinyl but will likely buy this. Quote
BPERCY Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I/Mike should have posted this on LPC last week when we knew about it... we were too busy with memorials page.... Quote
martinez Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Thank you Mark for calling me that, but I'm not such a big expert on that. I/Mike should have posted this on LPC last week when we knew about it... we were too busy with memorials page.... Everyone who follow the pre-order of the OML vinyl, they also knew about that too. RogueSoul Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Is this the first time No Roads Left is available on vinyl? Only LP vinyl I actually have is OML, might grab this one too. Quote

Yes, as far as I'm aware, it's the first time NRL is available on vinyl. It's also the main reason I'm buying this because I already own MTM on vinyl. Quote
Justin Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 This is awesome, for sure, but out of curiosity does anyone know a reason why it was switched? Quote
hahninator Posted August 18, 2017 Author Posted August 18, 2017 This is awesome, for sure, but out of curiosity does anyone know a reason why it was switched? MTM 10 year anniversary and WBR wanted to celebrate it. More details soon from LP. Quote
Geki Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 I wonder if the version of NRL included will be the original 2007 version that we got, or the version released in 2013 with the different mix. I have the MTM Tour Edition CD with NRL on it, the original 2007 mix. Quote
Astat Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 I wonder if the version of NRL included will be the original 2007 version that we got, or the version released in 2013 with the different mix. I have the MTM Tour Edition CD with NRL on it, the original 2007 mix. If they're consistent, I'd expect the newer mixes of SOTD/NRL on this one. They've used the SOTD alternate mix consistently since the song was released on Rock Band 3 in 2012. Quote

The way the drum beat keeps going after the rest of the music stops right before the second chorus is so off putting and awkward. Wtf were they even thinking? Quote

I agree, the 2007 versions are way better. I hate the other mixes. Quote
Jlumber Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 I think it would be awesome and appropriate if they put the Chester version of NRL on this. I doubt they will, but I think everyone would enjoy that. Quote

RogueSoul Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 Just preordered my copy. Really gotta get the rest of the albums on vinyl at some point. Quote
martinez Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 The release was postponed to October 13. Quote
martinez Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 This is how the picture vinyl will look like: Manufactured in Czech Republic Quote
martinez Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 (edited) Once again postponed, this time to October 20. You can also pre-order it here: saturn | jpc | amazon | EMP | http://www.warnermusic.ch/catalogue_detail-n28-i93624912118-sE.html Edited October 6, 2017 by martinez Quote
RogueSoul Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Man there's a lot of delays on this one. Hope this is the last one. Quote
martinez Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 (edited) On this vinyl it says "Made in the E.U." And on this image it says "Manufactured in CZ.." So that means there are two versions and that's why there are two different release dates? Edited October 16, 2017 by martinez Quote
