'White Noise' from MALL Soundtrack available for download!

I still think it's a strange decision that Dancer doesn't appear in the credits, maybe it's even a mistake? It's not just an instrumental, it's has singing, gibberish lyrics or not.

Maybe they considered it as a instrumental, such as Announcement Service Public, and the put it in the score.

Another strange thing for me is that, by the names of the score tracks usually, it's easy to know if is a track from the score or not. But, "Dancer"? It's hard to know, I guess :P

I wouldn't say that Announcement Service Public is an instrumental, just like the name says, if something has vocals it's not an instrumental anymore.

I think it's funny that some people are still like "OMG there's a 5th song" we found out a long time ago.

Yeah, I would say that too.., But, as Damian said, we have the example of Cure for the Itch, which has vocals [?] on it and is considered as a instrumental. But your point is correct...

Another thing: sorry for the ignorance... but does the tracks in the tracklist in the chronological order of the movie? I mean, White Noise is the first track, and is the first song/track that appears in the movie. The same goes to "Dancer", the last track in the movie and in the tracklist...

Yes. These kind of releases (score) usually are in chronological order.

I like it because you can pretty much tell it's a MTM demo. Lol.

I really want this soundtrack now.

It's weird that Ammosick is the "last line" song and Dancer is the "donna" song... I'd figure it'd be the other way around, I'll wait for the score to be released.

Ammosick is seen on the board in the studio on Meeting of A Thousand Suns with "The Last Line" written right next to it. No need to question the accuracy of the titles, they're confirmed.

Ammosick originated back in the MTM era and you can definitely hear that in the song, but they also worked on it during the ATS era and I don't think it would have still just had ''donna lyrics'' or scat vocals if it was worked on for the better part of 4 years. I would say stuff like Debris, which was originally a MTM era demo that was worked on into the ATS era, is in the same boat as a song like Ammosick. LP said they wrote close to 150 songs for MTM, so I bet there are tons and tons of songs just like Dancer that they have in their vault, while fully completed songs with final vocals like Ammosick are probably a lot more rare in their vault.

I wonder if we will get more than 5 tracks with vocals.. This soundtrack is going to be amazing!

By the track names that we already have, I doubt.

The only name besides the 4 that we had before, the only one that seems more close to a "song" name is Dancer... And we know that this is the 'Donna' song, so nothing really new...

I think 5 songs with vocals is way more than enough. We don't even get 5 songs with vocals on LPU releases. It's a ton of songs with vocals!

The Raid only had 2 songs with vocals even. Plus they just released a new album a few months ago and are going to release LPU14 soon, too.

Someone must ask to Joe about the release date of the OST! M&G come soon.

Am I the only one who thinks this might end up being the LPU 14 CD?

15:32 - I can't see "The Last Line" anywhere.

Edit:
Nevermind. Just found this post:

Depends.

No - If they want to promote the movie with the soundtrack, releasing it to specific group of people will miss the point.

Yes - But on the other hand there are 5 songs with vocals just like a normal LPU release.

No - It's not a "Linkin Park" release.

Yes - LPU 8 wasn't either.

No - Since Mike just mixed a few songs just a few days ago, it's more than likely that's too close to the release, and the LPU CD should be ready at this point.

Yes - But it's possible.

So my answer is maybe.
