    - Before the show, Linkin Park "performed" Powerless at soundcheck to be included in a video of the song to promote Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (including footage from the song, the film, and other portions of the Berlin show). It was directed by Timur Bekmambetov. Very few shots of Brad are shown due to Mike recording the guitars on the song in the studio. It is unknown if they played along with a backing track, halfway performed it, or played the full song. This is the only time that the song has been played live in any form by the band.

    - The show was filmed for the Living Things concert event in USA theaters June 25, 2012. Later, the theatrical release was released on the Living Things+ DVD.

    - Tickets for this show were given out for free in limited numbers to LPU members. Non-LPU members could win tickets from a Telekom Street Gigs contest to gain admission.

    - There was no LPU M&G or opening band at this show.

    - A DSP was listed for this show originally and then removed from the DSP site after the show. Finally, on July 13 after people emailed the DSP support, they received the following reply: "Unfortunately, the June 5 Berlin show was accidentally added to the LP bootleg series. For contractual reasons we are unable to release the show for download. To make up for the mistake we would like to offer you free downloads of any two Linkin Park shows. We are very sorry for the mistake and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you."

    - A new setlist was debuted for this show.

    - 'A Place For My Head' was performed for the first time since 2010.10.25 Paris when it was played for a one-off performance for the Hybrid Theory 10th Anniversary. The song featured a new, extended intro and an extended outro. It was also the first time it has opened a show since June 8, 2001 in Tinley Park, IL.

    - Random drum samples started playing during the first verse of 'Faint'. This is very audible in the webcast and TV versions of the show.

    - The sample part of the intro to 'Somewhere I Belong' was stopped and restarted.

    - Mike rapped verse two of 'Until It Breaks' over the intro to 'Waiting For The End'.

    - Chester went into the crowd on the bridge of 'Somewhere I Belong' until the end of the song, the end of 'What I've Done', and on the first verse of 'Crawling' until the end of the song. Mike went in the crowd on 'In The End'.

    - Joe messed up the 'Numb' intro and 'Crawling' intro.

    - Chester messed up the lyrics to the first verse of 'Crawling'.

    - When Chester was in the crowd on 'Crawling', someone draped him with a big scarf for the FC Porto soccer team and the Lisboa fans let him know they weren't happy with it! When Mike was in the crowd on 'In The End', fans tried to put a Lisbon team scarf around him unsuccessfully.

    - 'Bleed It Out' featured the Beastie Boys' 'Sabotage' bridge.

    - After 'Bleed It Out', the intro sample to 'Papercut' started right away but Mike said something like "Hold on a sec". The intro was stopped immediately and after a few seconds he said "Alright Pooch, crank that shit up" before the song restarted.

    - This was the first time that 'Lies Greed Misery' was performed live.

     Other Notes:

    - The band did not play last at the festival. They were in between The Offspring and Smashing Pumpkins (who played after them) on the bill.

    - Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit (who played earlier in the day) gave a shout out to Linkin Park during the LB set and sang part of 'In The End'.

    - The DSPs (Digital Souvenir Packages) for Rock In Rio and Pinkpop were not offered for presale until May 28, 2012. This is the first time DSPs were not offered for presale before the tour started since they began on January 24, 2008 in Nottingham, ENG.

    - 'With You' was performed for the first time since 2006.08.15 Sendai. It was played with a short new intro that had Joe scratching over a beat and an outro that was Joe scratching over the ending sample and continuing shortly after the song. Chester did not scream his "C'MON" intro like he used to. This was the third version of the song the band has performed over the years. The album version was played from 2000 to 2002, while the "Reanimated" version was played from 2003 to 2006.

    - 'Runaway' was performed for the first time since 2007.05.06 East Rutherford. It was the first time Mike has ever played keyboard on the song.

    - Joe messed up the intro to 'Blackout'.

    - 'Somewhere I Belong' was performed for the first time since 2009.08.22 Pomona. The House of Blues performance was the debut of a new "2012 Ext. Intro" for the song. 'Somewhere I Belong' was on one of two potential setlists (the other having 'Points Of Authority' on it) for November 11, 2010 in London, ENG but ended up not being played due to 'No More Sorrow' taking its place.

    - 'Points Of Authority' was performed for the first time since 2009.08.22 Pomona, but it was the first time the true studio version has been played since March 15, 2004 in Inglewood, CA. It is worth nothing that a studio version with a very brief "hits" outro was played in Japan in 2006, the last one being on August 15, 2006 in Sendai, JP. As mentioned above, it was on a potential setlist for November 11, 2010 in London, ENG.

    - 'Waiting For The End' was played with its extended outro, which was omitted during the May 16, 2012 KROQ Dressing Room Rehearsal show. The outro is titled the "Wall of Noise outro" on the setlist. Mike rapped verse two from 'Until It Breaks' over the intro to the song.

    - 'Bleed It Out' had an extended intro, a new bridge with part of 'Sabotage' by the Beastie Boys, and an extended outro. The band sped up the part of the song after the 'Sabotage' bridge to fit the tempo of the cover.

    Debut(s):

    - This was the first time that 'Tinfoil' was performed live. The only thing that is played live on the song is a guitar part offstage/backstage by Mike.

    - The band debuted a new medley at the show (the first medley since 2004, when 'It's Goin' Down'/Nobody's Listening/It's Goin' Down' was performed) that included parts of 'Leave Out All The Rest', 'Shadow Of The Day', and 'Iridescent'.

Since 'A Place For My Head' was not in the setlist for this show, Rob did not have his samples working for the bridge so he instead used his snare drum. The bridge was extended with Chester's "you try to take the best of me, go away" part being doubled. This is the first show the studio intro to 'A Place For My Head' has been played at since October 25, 2010 in Paris, France. After the song, 'New Divide' was then played in full.

While eating pizza in the VIP section of the venue (not in view of the stage), the band rehearsed part of US Set A. After that, they did a M&G with everyone in attendance backstage. Fans were then allowed to watch seven songs of the US Set C rehearsal before being asked to leave (after 'New Divide'), presumably because the set was to remain a surprise for the tour. LPLive staff hung around with other fans outside the venue to hear the rest of the rehearsal.

    - There were very high winds during this performance. Distortion from the wind on the mics is slightly audible on the DSP at the start of 'LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent'.

    - Chester messed up the lyrics on 'Given Up'.

    - On 'Points Of Authority', Chester forgot part of the chorus each time it was sung. Mike corrects him and at the end of the song, Chester said, "Thanks for telling me that line Mike, I couldn't remember it for the entire fucking song... it's funny, I just kept saying the same line over and over again."

    - Mike rapped verse two of 'Until It Breaks' over the intro to 'Waiting For The End'. Chester let the crowd sing the first "wishing I had strength to stand" on the song as well.

    - Mike messed up on the last line of 'The Catalyst', singing "It can't be outdone, it can't be outdone" instead of the correct line "It can't be outfought, it can't be outdone".

    - Mike and Chester sang part of the lyrics to 'Numb/Encore' over the outro of 'Numb'.

    - 'Bleed It Out' featured the Beastie Boys' 'Sabotage' bridge.

    - For the 7th LPU Summit, the band performed a seven song soundcheck before the show. An earlier draft of the soundcheck setlist (found in the dressing room during the LPU Summit) included 'Faint', 'With You', 'Lies Greed Misery', the studio version of 'Leave Out All The Rest', the Ballad Medley, and 'Lost In The Echo'.

    - A number of fans were injured before the show when scaffolding outside the venue fell on them due to the high winds. One fan died as a result and a number of others were hospitalized. Mike addressed the accident at the following show in 2012.11.10 Johannesburg.
