  6. love it...... too many options btw lol
  7. Give Me Your Name totaslly sucks ass IMO. there is NO SECOND WORST. If the album didn't have GMYN it'd be perfect.....
  8. we finally get to see the whole band together!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I can't compare the albums as wholes. They both have songs I LOVE and songs I can't stand. So I'll compare the songs I LOVE.... Remember the Name vs. Condemned = Remember the Name Believe Me vs. Into You = Into You Red to Black vs. End of the World = Red to Black Kenji vs. In the Darkness = In the Darkness Right Now vs Walking In Circles = Walking In Circles I guess my vote goes to OOA
  10. you think www.deadbysunrise.net will be launched when the album comes out?
  11. if any covers were done, it should have been a Julien-K song.... or an Orgy song for that matter!
  12. Let's discuss "Into You".... I LOVE IT. 2nd best on the album. was it supposed to originally be titled "N2U"? I think that would've bee cool to keep
  13. I think "Walking In Circles" is about being unique in a very uniform world. And I think by the end of the song, the narrator has fallen into conformity..... basically put conformity vs. rebellion.
  14. VERY surprising setlist
  15. I got two..... but I can't go
  16. My guess is "Fire" even though I dispise that song
  17. Don't know if this would go under "Custom Set Lists" or not, but I think DBS should have their own thread... Here's Mine: 1. End of the World 2. Walking In Circles 3. Condemned 4. Let Down 5. In The Darkness (Acoustic) 6. Morning After 7. Crawl Back In 8. My Suffering 9. Into You 10. Across the Line (LP Cover0 *ENCORE* 11. Dreamland (Julien-K) 12. Inside of Me
  18. It just doesn't work for me it's boring and slow, and IMO Chester should have written a better song for HIS WIFE
  19. sounds good to me, there's a lot of shows in LA, with the Roxy, the Wiltern, Staples center etc, so I'd be happy to help out. LP\DBS\JK\FM
  20. What is your favorite song off of the album? Mine is Walking In Circles
  21. "Condemned" is personally one of my favorites on the album how about you guys?
  22. I was epicenter..... fucking tool fans anyways, back on topic..... I would love to hear NRL live. But i think when he did "In Between" it wasn't that great.
  23. I'm pretty sure that's what the line is....
  24. 09 Version > 01 Version > BOW > Julien-K Remix
  25. Ok.... here's my review Fire - Good opener. Good strong vocals. Sounds a little bit too robotic on the choruses, would have like to see some changed in vocal range. All in all it's a good song. 8.5/10 Crawl Back In - Great intro, awesome guitars, good beat. It was originally my favorite song on the album, but now hat I've heard the entire album, it's not nearly as good. 7/10 Too Late - TOTALLY DIFFERENT. Nice melodies. I'm in love with Chester's vocals on this song. 9.5/10 Inside of Me - Falls short, because, well, it's too short. Maybe a little bit longer verses. Choruses are great, don't like the line "What the hell is wrong with me/this isn't who I'm supposed to be". Drumming on this song is great. 7/10 Let Down - Amir's guitar, Elias' drums, Brandon's Bass, and Chester's vocals all collide on this song. It all fits together really well in my opinion. No complaints. 10/10 Give Me Your Name - Too slow, don't like it all very much. I don't know what it is. The only positive is that it is very unique, but I think Chester could have written a better song for his wife. 5/10 My Suffering - Nice opening riff. Nice choruses. Verses sound like poetry. The only thing I don't like is that a lot of the vocals are layered. If they hadn't done this, I think the song would be perfect. 2008 version was far better. 8/10 Condemned - Very Heavy, the heaviest on the album. A lot of good screams. GREAT guitar solo. No negatives. 10/10 Into You - I think the working title for this song was "N2U", and I think that would have been cool to keep. ANYWAYS. Song has great melodies. Very catchy. 9/10 End of the World - When did Chester get all political? I really enjoyed this track. I love how he badmouthed the government, and talked about the crisis we're in right now. I think a lot of people can relate to this track. Hopefully the world doesn't end any time soon so everyone can enjoy this track. 9.5/10 Walking In Circles - The jewel of the album IMO. I fell in love with instantly when I heard the club tattoo recording. Unlike "My Suffering", they didn't change this one too much. Just added some layered vocals, which I think compliment the song very nicely. THE BEST SONG ON THE ALBUM. 10/10 In the Darkness - And of course Chester had to right a song about sex. Writing is very beautiful. Nice acoustic guitars. THE SONG IS FIVE MINUTES? Doesn't feel like it. Flies by nice and smooth. 9/10 Morning After - Personally, I was expecting a more "raw" version. Sounds very similar to the Julien-K remix. I would have enjoyed it more if they had eliminated all keyboards/effects, but oh-well. 7.5/10 OVER ALL - 8.5
