  1. I tweeted earlier, only after a year of listening to ATS am I finally grasping its grandeur and brilliance. Hard to believe that I completely dismissed The Catalyst when it premiered over Medal of Honor and now I rank it near the top of their catalog. Few of their other songs sound as good live in my opinion. Additionally, ATS music videos just took it to a whole 'nother level. If Minutes to Midnight was LP rediscovering themselves and A Thousand Suns was them getting comfortable, the next album is sure to exceed my highest expectations.
  2. On September 11th Linkin Park plays in Chiba, Japan for the second night in a row (see yesterday’s extensive post here). It is their second performance in Japan in 2011 as well as the second day of the 5th LPU Summit. The setlist from September 10th remains unconfirmed as of this writing but Bleed It Out with the APFMH bridge did return as a closer: LP in Japan has usually meant epic performances and live debuts. 4. Our friends at LPMoscow.ru have organized a unique event. On September 29th there will be a concert with five well-known Linkin Park cover bands. This is a special opportunity for fans in Moscow to meet up and hear their favorite songs in an altogether festive atmosphere. Expect plenty of contests and prizes at the show. Fellow hardcore LP fans and plenty of alcohol! Be there! For venue and ticket purchasing information, head over to the official event page.

  11. No Hybrid Theory tracks so far except the instrumental intro! This could be the best set ever!
  12. I can confirm that 16:15 - 17:18 in the episode "Brother's Keeper" there's a very old demo of Forgotten playing. Good job finding such an obscure tidbit and welcome to the forum.
  13. Congratulations to the two lucky winners! More than $350 raised for Music For Relief and their efforts in Japan.
  14. Trying to picture Mike emptying a recycle bin full of unreleased LP makes me a sad panda.
  15. Why exactly would they, literally, delete their hard work? Even if the scrapped album is nothing more than a bunch of seeds and a demo or two, it's all on a CD somewhere.
  16. ATS is a "pop" album? Lulz wat! Mike should curse MORE.
